Darkthrone - Death of All Oaths (Oath Minus)

Finally getting around to hearing modern Darkthrone. I dig it!

Sacred Warrior - Wicked Generation

Basically a Christian version of Operation: Mindcrime. Some of the rare quality 'white' metal out there.

Really feeling the new era. Good stuff.

Forgot this album had my favourite solo from Manilla Road. End of 'War of the Gods'.

I know, right? Pretty much the last word in gothic-romantic-folk-whatever you want to call it. One of my favorites.

Midnight Odyssey- Fallen from Firmament

Powerful atmosphere that really sucks you in. If it wasn't so cold out I'd kick back on my lawn and watch the stars while listening to this. Hell, I might do it anyway.

Metallica-One

After spending most of 2011 and 2012 trying to find the most obscure old thrash bands worth listening to (with many great finds of course, love you Aspid, Arachnid, Attomica, Ghost Story, and a zillion others :) ) and getting burnt out on all the boring stuff found along the way, its nice to listen to one of those songs that got me into metal to begin with. Don't think I've listened to this song since last year, its still great of course. Some stuff is massively popular for a good reason.

That's pretty cool that someone decided to finally re-release their first two records.

Needs no explanation. :metal:

Just bought this CD today out of the used bin. I had no idea that the song was originally released under the Savatage name. I always just thought it was TSO.

Circle of Ouroburus - Six Hands

Very simple and low-fi black metal, but it also has a calming quality about itself that makes me feel all fuzzy inside.

That's really not gonna happen. Roy Khan quit Kamelot, not to mention his high register really isn't what it used to be. A new Conception without high notes wouldn't be fun at all.

NP: Conception - Cry

Nice romantic ballad.

Manilla Road - Crystal Logic, Open The Gates, The Deluge

The songs. In that order too. A warmup for

Manilla Road - Mystification

The album. What an awesome one it is. Just plain ridiculous-- in an awesome way.

A lot of people aren't down with this album. I love it though. I think it's underrated, and I'm quite confident in saying I have never heard anything that sounds quite like it...

NP: Agrypnie - Augenblick
This band will be huge one day (I hope :( )
