Stare at the cross in the middle. Normal, recognizable celebrities look fucked up and deformed as quick flashes in your peripherals.

I doubt I will ever know what it feels like to not fit into a band shirt.

A band shirt being too large though, thats another story... Half of my band shirts are too big now.

Seriously cannot wait, especially in The Opera House. The whole place is specifically designed for acoustic pleasure, and with this band it's going to be eargasmic!

Last time I counted it was about 70ish I think. I'll see if I can think of them all tomorrow, I pretty much never stop wearing them unless I stop liking the band (Dethklok) or I think the design is stupid (my only Children of Bodom shirt fell by the wayside since it has the band members on it and I hate shirts with members on it). I've got Vader and Amon Amarth shirts I bought when I was 15 that I still wear. I'm pretty sure I still have a usable Metallica shirt that my mom used to wear in high school that got passed down to me. Also there was a stretch for like three years where I made it a point to buy at least one shirt at every show I attended. So add that with the fact that I wear shirts forever and yeah, it piles up.

Damn! That's a lot. But I know what you mean about still wearing them unless they become irrelevant. Did you just say Vader? This is probably the oldest shirt that I'm still wearing. It's a tour shirt. Faded as fuck but I still wear it.

My GF counted them, turns out I have 87 at last count. Probably need to clear some out.

And yes, once you turn 30, stacking on a few pounds is something that actually happens, believe it or not. I didnt believe it (having been all wraith like for years), now I know better haha

Is this really what you're supposed to be doing with this image? Beause when I first saw it my first reaction was to cross my eyes so the images overlapped and made MTF transsexuals who looked like they got their operations done in a cheap motel room.

A lot of my band shirts are XL which is far too big really, but for a lot of them it was the only size I could get (medium is way too small usually) so I just put up with it and where baggy band shirts. It's usually OOP designs I find on ebay so don't find the right size, or they've run out of the right size at the merch stand.

Remember that assassination attempt on the leader of a Bulgarian party?

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2013/ja ... ria-turkey
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... -hoax.html

The gun was loaded with pepper spray, and the assailant only wanted to show that Ahmed Dogan isn't untouchable. Bottom line, he never was in any real danger.

Seriously, I don't know if it's a customary welcoming gesture there, but for sure it felt rather weird. Btw it was in a clothing shop, not a prison, and the guy was pretty happy about having me around. :uh oh:

So, do I spend the very last of my gift card on the Holy Terror double pack with Mind Wars/Terror and Submission or do I spend a little bit out of pocket and pick up the first two Sabbat (UK) albums?

I think the photos were chose with emphasizing the effect in mind. A couple of them actually look doctored, even if you look straight on.

Get the Holy Terror stuff. It's a little harder to find than the Sabbat stuff, which was reissued more recently.

One of my favourite albums of all time, just never got around to buying it because my dad had it, so when at home I didn't really need my own copy.

Just ordered my DCD ticket. Seating tickets were all gone, so I've gone with standing. Got to wait until July now :s

The Holy Terror albums are better than the Sabbat albums by miles, even as good as Sabbat are Mind wars is more interesting than either of the albums they released in terms of musicianship, intensity, and just great riffs and vocals.

I was originally looking at the Holy Terror stuff because of the Agent Steel/Killfelt connection. Skeptics Apocalypse has really been speaking to me lately. I ultimately decided to go ahead and snag the two Sabbat albums but I think I'm probably going to splurge and get the Holy Terror compilation as well. It's not very pricey and I don't want to miss out.

Regarding HOly Terror...well, I really enjoy them. But here's the thing. I used to have both albums on MP3 before I bought that 2CD reissue thing. And somehow I felt that the mp3s sounded better than the cds! Am I just imagining it? I no longer have the MP#s to compare...but those CDs, especially Mind Wars sound so very loud! It's kind of like that reissue of Agent Orange that just seems to max everything out so that even when your volume's quiet you feel like stuff's distorting...

I don't know, maybe I'm totally off?> I wish I still had the MP3s

Great band anyway.

Argh, I totally remember you saying that now that I think about it. I've already ordered them now but this may have given me serious pause. I hate that brickwalled remixed sound so much.
