There's a couple of videos like this on youtube, close enough?

Is here anyone who listened to Embalming Theatre's Unamused Rancid Flesh, and knows the name of the asian-sounding song that's in the outro? I'm trying to find it for 2 years, but no luck.

Listened to those earlier, and I wish I had better computer speakers at work because those jams sounded faster than I remember DT80K sounding...and faster = better, always.

Anybody else heard this yet? Rather Infest-y. http://beatrizcarnicero.bandcamp.com/

Between them, Chulo, and Sordo, it'd be cool with me if Latin American powerviolence became a thing.

Hi guys, id say im still pretty new to grind(been listening for about 6 months) and some of my favorite grind albums are Wormrot-Abuse, Cephalic Carnage- Lucid Interval, and Napalm Death-Harmony Corruption.(I know its more of a death metal album but theres still grind elements.) Can someone rec me some grind bands that have very guttural vocals and if they utilized high screams thatd be awesome.

I could rattle off 30+ bands, but I'll just drop these three

Insect Warfare - World Extermination

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kF2eIOXtoYs

Suffering Mind - Suffering Mind

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5UU1BoanD2o

Excruciating Terror - Expression of Pain

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-EG3lEecFU
Also, this blog -Grind And Punishment - is run by a dude who strictly lives off grindcore. He put together his favorite 13 grind albums. While I have my qualms with it, it's worth checking out (my blog also covers a lot of grind, just sayin' )

I already knew Insect Warfare and wasnt to keen on Suffering Mind. Excruciating Terror was very good though! Man the vocalist has a massive voice.

Ah, hmm.

Cripple Bastards. Italian stalwarts

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHCuFP_VCFo

Extreme Noise Terror. Dual vocalists. Earlier stuff crusty, later stuff death metally. Both included. Being and Nothing is one of the better combos of death metal and grindcore, vocals are sick.
old
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogNz7bVG3rg

latter
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_6a8tkjeKM

In Disgust. Grindy power violence with some really ridiculous vocals.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFIZS4pTshU

Noisear. Noodly grindcore.

Oh my god Cripple Bastards and latter era E.N.T were just what i was looking for. Noisear was just.... weird, didnt give it to much of a chance and In Disgust had an amazing vocalist! Thanks!

Are there any grind bands out there that owe a good deal of their sound to early Godflesh? Huge distorted bass, mechanical drums, dissonant guitar riffs/layers, etc...a project I'm working on now is somewhere along these lines, and I was wondering if anybody out there knew of a band/artist that has similar ideas. Think of if somebody shrunk down to the size of an ant, did a bunch of meth, and got lost inside the gears of a huge machine. That's the overall feel I'm interested in finding.

Disclaimer: I don't use meth or encourage the use of meth to anybody.

Looking for more grindcore bands that lack one of either guitar/bass such as cloud rat or water torture.

A different, but not necessarily unrelated request is for grindcore bands with female vocalists, such as, again, Cloud Rat (I fucking love them atm)

Don't understand the appeal of comps without exclusive content, even if it is for a good benefit. But there's too many songs for me to know whether or not this is true about this comp (i know that DxAx track ain't).

There are a million grind bands without bass players... literally. As for bands without guitarists... Water Torture's probablky the best, far and away, but there's also Godstomper who are terrible and Trencher who are actually quite good (keys, drums, bass). This video's actually great.

Strictly female

Skarp (probably the closest thing you're after), Landmine Marathon, Idiots Parade, Lycanthrophy (male backing vox I think), Flagitious Idiosyncrasy in the Dilapidation

Male and Female

Disrupt, Agoraphobic Nosebleed (whichever releases Kat's on. She's awesome), Suffering Mind (some releases, great vocals too), Despise You (certain songs), Hatred Surge (older stuff)

not sure what is exclusive, I do know my band's track is. We specifically wrote and recorded it within 3 days of knowning we were on the comp and sent it to Dorian.

I get to see Phobia Friday! :hyper: I'm not sure how I feel about Exhumed but I'm sure they will be fun. There's a couple of good openers too, I've heard good things about Lethal Intent.

Very nice, Phobia has always put on a show everytime I played with them. I haven't played with them since they got the female guitarist though.

BASS ONLY: Corrupt Bastards, Godstomper, Skuff, Sordo, Cause for Effect, Inerds (Water Torture with two vocalists)

GUITAR ONLY: Agitate, Sakatat, Rapturous Grief, Cellgraft and honestly thousands of others. It seems like the majority of grind bands coming out these days don't have a bassist so it should be real easy to find more.

Scaphe is a 3-piece with 2 bass players and a drummer. Pretty loud, fast and noisy. They're also outrageously heavy live

Hey, I'm looking for well-produced, punky grindcore in the vein of Wormrot's Abuse. I'm reasonably well-versed in the genre but nothing is too obvious, I've always explored by what's been posted on blogs so there's a strong chance I've missed a classic.

You'd probably dig Righteous Pigs. They are an old school crusty/punky death/grind band with Mitch Harris from Napalm Death. This was his earlier band before ND. Anyway, you may know them, you may not be looking for this, but you may want to check them out anyway. Cool underknown band.

been jamming the shit out of Stress Related since I got my MDF tickets. So excited to see them. Anyone know of anything similar? Largely mid-paced grindcore with a hardcore and metal touch to their sound?

Yeah, I know them, but that's along the lines of what I'm looking for.

Thinking also recent Phobia or any Raw Noise (as per the latter, the production doesn't have to be pristine, but I'd like it clear for this rec).

Haha good get on that demo! Love the Repulsion influence without it turning into worship. The full length is all of 14 minutes long I think and apparently owes even more to early Napalm than the demo. Shit needs to hurry up and drop!

I also saw TLAL post on fb that The Kill LP is gonna be out soon which rules.

Aaaaand been jamming that new PLF SUPER hard lately, riffs on riffs on riffs on riffs on riffs and Fajardo ain't slackin'

Damn, Bone Sickness is definitely a band I need to keep an eye on from here on out then! And I'll have to snag The Kill's new LP from TLAL, it's pretty cool too; more classic Kill with a ripping cover of "Necrophobic". New P.L.F. rules too!
