Psychotic Waltz - Halo of Thorns

Simply one of the best albums of all time.

What a positive surprise to hear guest vocals from Unexpect on the album... didn't even know that when I bought "Fragmentary Evidence".

YES! One of my favorite technical bands out there who just about get the balance right.

Gorguts - Waste Of Mortality
Obviously the masters from the Canadian techdeath scene. Check them out if you haven't already CoF.

I still have to get their first two albums, but I love "Obscura". Canadian techdeath/extreme metal is great, be it Cryptopsy, Quo Vadis, Martyr... can't go wrong with these guys - except for "The Unspoken King" of course.

np:
December Wolves - Completely Dehumanized

Suffocation - Sullen Days

Despite the slower pace as compared to the rest of the album, this is my favorite track from Pinnacle of Bedlam.

Black Sabbath - Never Say Die!

Killer album. Every track owns. It's like Sabbath doing an amalgamation of rock history... Or like a Sabotage part deux. Don't get the hate for this. And Shock Wave might have one of Iommi's most twisted solos. Such mature song writing too.

And to think, they were all fucked up on drugs on this beast.

Dream Theater - The Root of All Evil

This was always my favorite DT album after I&W. Heavy, emotive and oddball.

Metallica - Am I Evil? (Diamond Head cover), off Kill 'Em All

I prefer the original, but the added aggression this version has will always be quite tasty.

Love that fuckin' tune :headbang: :metal:

Vader - Chaos

Fuck this album is awesome. Just killer song after song, riff after riff... I think I love death metal more now than what I did twenty years ago!

They were great!
That's a pity what they're doing now but, at least, I saw them live once (although with Derrick) and Andreas was the shit!

Ready For The Final War from (1993) Sigh - Scorn Defeat.
I don't use to listen much to old Sigh but this is FUN!

Darkthrone - Straightening Sharks in Heaven

Not a song title I'm likely to forget any time soon - regardless of what it's actually about, I'm taking it rather literally.
