Yeah, great to see the most boring team of all time get humiliated like that.

Oh yeah, playing that stupid possession game with a weak defense is bound to crumble soon against a strong attack like Bayern. I was a little disappointed that Barca seemed like they weren't even putting up a fight. Anyway, that's that.

Yes, we have one!

Sweet! It's nothing new, but it's an enjoyable track.

I heard that Australia will ban the Easter Bunny as an invasive species. No more chocolate eggs down under! Haha!

Soon the Cadbury's embassy in Sydney will be bombed and the private Cadbury's security force will have to fly the Cadbury's Ambassador to Australia to safety in the official Cadbury's rabbit-shaped helicopter.

Speaking of rabbits, the ones who have taken over my yard have been in a turf war against the neighbors yard rabbits all week. They've had one casualty so far when for a moment they banded together and ganged up on one poor rabbit. Probably an informant.

Motherfuckers like to castrate each other with their teeth, so you shouldn't be all that surprised. Rabbits can be outright vicious.

Attack Attack! broke up :/ bummer too because their newest album wasn't nearly as good as the old stuff so it's a shame they went out on a low note. RIP crabcore visionaries, I can remember when the video for Stick Stickly came out and everyone got infuriated over it just like it was yesterday.

Wish I watched the game. I thought Juventus might be in for a chance this year until they come up against Bayern. Apparently Arjen Robben was unstoppable.

Oh well, yes I knew about that thread :) but it's hardly frequented by soccer fans and I've seen some guys including Frog post about it here in the FFA.

Anywho, speaking of bunnies, remember the bunny suicides? I gifted this book/comic to a lil' cousin many years ago. I found them fun back then. Here are some of the comics:

Meaning of Life is the best one. Just so odd, humorous and yet strangely meaningful.

Isn't that rabbit thing FROM Holy Grail? Am I just not remembering the killer bunnies in Life of Brian?

Yeah, Caerbannog is from Holy Grail!

Holy Grail > Meaning of Life > Life of Brian imo

I wanted to like Life of Brian more than I did. Was funny, but unlike the others, a few parts kinda annoyed me here and there.

Holy Grail I like almost as much as Meaning of Life, but MoL slightly edges it out due to the fact that I just love the vignette format and the way everything thematically connects together in the end...man, it's been a long time since I've seen any of these though.

I second everything Emp said about the Python films. I feel exactly the same way.
Man I love Meaning of Life. "why not start her off with a little kiss boy? Before we STAMPEDE for the clitoris."

Meaning of Life is a terrible, terrible movie. Ugh. So unfunny and painful to watch. Holy Grail at least had some pretty cool moments.

Meaning of Life is like this: there's a gag that's mildly funny and might, at best, elicit a chuckle... then, instead of just moving on, the gag gets stretched, and stretched, and stretched, until your chuckle turns into a queasy nervous smile because it's really not funny anymore, and then they stretch it some more until you're squirming uncomfortably in your seat and praying, "please make it stop... :ugh:". It's really that bad. :nono:

Yeah.

Not to be "that guy" but if you don't like Meaning of Life you just don't get it. Probably best to stick with Big Bang Theory or Two-and-a-Half Men or whatever it is you'd prefer. :-P

The Meaning of Life is fun, but got nothing on Life of Brian or Holy Grail. You know, the movies that aren't just sketches stitched together. Also, And Now For Something Completely Different does it better.

When it comes to Meaning of Life, I think my favourite bit is the opening-vignette about the Crimson Permanent Assurance; it really goes of the scale of grandiose and silly.

Regarding the Python films...Life of Brian is the best as far as I'm concerned. It's also the only one of the three that the cast really enjoyed making. I think it really shows that they were lacking direction or something with Meaning of Life, but I quite like that one as well anyway, though it isn't as gut-busting as Brian can be. I don't have a lot to say about Holy Grail...I'm actually not that wild about it, but so many of the lines have been etched permanently into pop culture now that it's difficult to be objective about the movie. Strange, as it seems so slapdash at times, but I guess that's the point...

I'm always surprised to hear that so many people who are familiar with the Python films haven't checked out Ripping Yarns yet. Tomkinson's Schooldays and The Testing of Eric Olthwaite are as good as the best Python stuff.

I always loved the Python sketches. The Flying Circus was usually amazingly funny, with some really stupidly annoying pieces too though. A few friends and I watched "Live at the Fishbowl", I believe it was called, a few years ago. That was one of the funniest things I've ever watched. The ad-lib, maniacal style worked wonders in a live setting. I need to find that again.
