No didn't see that one. Saw the one where some idiot let Homer take charge of a power station and he caused a melt down.

My fav one was where Homer was being chased by Wiggum down a dark windy road, and to lose him he turns his lights off, when he "diasappears" Wiggum is startled and says "Wow ghost car".

Hey Acrobat's got a sense of humour :) :-P

At least this guy can grow a decent beard unlike you. And he looks awesome. Kind of funny for metalheads to criticise the looks of others, it sounds superficial and inane for people who are mainly unconventional to be so judgemental towards the fashion statements of others.

I don't really understand the hatred towards big beards, it's something that always has been in many cultures throughout the ages, it's not like being angry against skinny pink jeans or blue mohawk hair.

You're just defending the guy because he represents the epitome of canadian masculinity, the most masculin of masculinities.

That beard is awesome and I wish I could grow a beard like that.

SLK hates this crap and he has a relatively 'big' beard. Well he hates everything, so nevermind.

Hatred is relative to the subject though; it is indeed possible to hate everything and still hate some things more than others.

This. A lot of the bitching about trends just makes you guys look like turds in the proverbial punch bowl. Get over it! Plus, that guy in Subrick's beard picture is so clearly not a hipster. I mean, really?

I'm going to abstain from taking a front-line position in this debate. I can grow facial hair just fine, I don't because it makes my beautiful face break out with acne (anybody else get this?). Anyway...

The contrast between an unkempt, huge beard and that modern, slick short haircut is jarring. Though if someone wants to have a huge beard, and keeping his hair like that is the only way to not look like a lumberjack, then it should be fine.

Why should anyone with that kind of beard give a fuck about looking too lumberjack-y?

I like (and even prefer) beards on men, but those big beards like that are hideous and unattractive as all hell and do look even worse on guys with short hair (at least long hair complements the look nicely).

Obviously that's just my preference, though. But seriously, eww. Give me a nicely groomed beard, not an Osama soup catcher, please.

The longer the hair, the more beard you can get away with, easily.

Speaking of great beards and even greater riffs, it's Gary Holt's 50th birthday.

The man's aged quite well, and I swear he must have had all his ink done within the last, maybe, 10 years.

He still uses them with Exodus-related stuff, and I know for sure he is on the new album. I think that pic was taken for a rig rundown while on the road with Slayer.

Judging men by their beards? Just for that, I think girls with big bushy beards are ugly. Take that!

Okay, I'm totally judging. If you choose to sport a certain look, you're fair game. :D

I don't know what a B.C. is. Prince George is an english name, so that automatically means you are an american, unless you are an australian, but I doubt it.

For best results, it would have to be a crossover/thrash metal group from Indonesia. :V

Osama Soup Catcher would also make a good song title for an instrumental stoner/doom jam.

I'm planning to start my own battle vest but I was not sure what jacket to use. I have a black-dyed denim but it's pretty thick and i don't want to suffocate in small venues. On the other hand, i have a cool looking camo jacket that isnt too thick. The problem is that i fear the colour might look too cheery with green in the background and red yellow (i have Ghoul patch i have long wanted to use) on the patches. Pictures from google seems to confirm that. The camo on it's own is cool though.

I think you need to grow a beard first before doing anything else.

Yeah but the vest without a beard would just confuse people, and that's really not cool because no one likes being confused. He can wear a wig if he has short hair but the beard has to be real.

It can, but that's not the proper term. They're usually referred to as "face merkins".

SLK hates beards and short hair, NPR, general keeping up with appearances and pop culture, knowledgeable and fair criticism of things/places/people/music, and overall a decent sense of interaction. So, really, all things with salt and such.

I have a lot of patches that I got for free over the years that I've always wanted to use, but I'm not really into the whole denim jacket thing, although a black one may work. I wanted to put mine on a leather jacket, but I'm pretty sure I would end up ruining it as I don't know how to sew and you can't iron shit onto leather. I have a leather motorcycle jacket with skulls down the arms that would be perfect for some metal patches, but again don't want to destroy a fairly expensive jacket :/

Fortunately for the world that was an unfounded rumor and they're working on their debut full length.

I'm late, but this was hardly an "unfounded rumor". The band made a Facebook post stating something along the lines of one of their members was leaving the country soon and that they would split up as soon as he did so.
