Yeah, I think I listened to that one when the band was submitted first, but I rejected it because it's (relatively) short. I guess it could be representative for the black metal side, but eeehh... Is the longer A-side even the metal one?

If I recall correctly, it said it was a sample of the A side on the page.

Edit: Yeah, this scraper site has the comment:

mkay, maybe okay. I'd contact the user who first submitted them, if it's decided that it's enough.

Restored the Hungarian Obscurity after the original submitter sent me samples.

=Scruvy. Already on the site - Scurvs, from the Neseblod list.

Spoiler: show
Halloween's list of bands from Neseblod included a link from HardMusicBase.cz that mentioned Scurvs's demo, but the Google Translation of the Original Czech was garbled. Below are several translations from different programs, to help paint a better picture. They seem to mention that Brutal Death Metal is one of the genre's of the band, while also mentioning that this demo cassette was eventually re-issued on vinyl.

Google Translate:
Wrapping the tape , simply called "Demo 1/2000 " from the Swedish grinders SCURVS at first glance seems like a jumble of carelessly put together from a variety of chips , but on the other you will find that it has an order and it certainly does not look the worst. The packaging even includes a kind of Internet address , which in those days was not yet customary, let alone at demáčový band. Additionally, brutal death metal band that was and is a feast for the ears . Incredible journey supported by sound quality . No wonder, then , that this stuff has been served a reissue on vinyl .

Bing Translator:
Cover to the tape, simply called "Demo 1/2000", from the Swedish SCURVS grinders at first sight seems to be as casually folded clutter from various of snippets, but on the other you will find that it has rules and that it certainly does not look the worst. Package even includes a Web address, which at the time was not yet a habit at all, let alone for the demáčový band. In addition, brutal death metal, this band was and is a feast for the ears. Nice ride backed by high-quality sound. It is therefore not surprising that this stuff see re-release on vinyl.

FreeTranslation.com:
The packaging to the cassette, simply called "Demo 1/2000" from the Swedish grinders SCURVS at first sight it seems to be a staging will pick up a patchwork of different ústřižků, but on the other, we find that it has order and that it certainly does not look at our worst. The packaging even includes a web address in the nth time still has not habit, let alone for demáčový band. Moreover brutal death metal of the band was and is a feast for the ears. Brave horse backed with quality sound. So it is no surprise that this matroš served a added vinyl.

Dictionary.com's Reference Translator:

RegardingScurvs: Translation of the Czech review by a native speaker (me):
The cover for the cassette, simply called "Demo 1/2000", by the Swedish "honing machine" Scurvs seems at first glance to be a superficially compilled mess ofdifferent stubs. But at a second glance you wll find out, that ithas some order and that it certainly does not look so bad. The cover even contains some internet address, which was not a common thing at all at that time, especially not for a demo band. To it comes, that the brutal death metal of this band was and is an ear candy. A great ride supported by a quality sound. No wonder, that this material was re-issued onvinyl.

So theconclusion: The band is Swedish, plays brutal death metal. The have released a demo cassette in 2000, which was later re-issued on vinyl. They had also an internet page/contact Adress in 2000.

Witcher wrote:
Regarding Scurvs: I am almost certain, that I have solved the mystery about the band. The name Scurvs is Just a misspelling of the name Scurvy and Scurvy is a Swedish brutal death metal/grindcore band, which has rleased a limited demo tape called Demo I/Demo 2000. The description in the review fits almost perfectly. Brutal edeath metal with a good production: https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/S ... 2000/23349
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xw5eyWXLYzc
Similarly, thelmno is just another spelling of Chelmno and we have an Italian black metal band called Chelmno with a limited demotape in the Archives:

From what I can tell, all of your presumptions seem to be correct - all of the translations get the point across, I think. The text mentions a "tape cover/case", so I'd say that constitutes enough evidence of a physical release.

Added. - Tᴀʟᴏɴ (USA-NY) Hard Rock/Heavy Metal
Spoiler: show
Shared the stage with Fates Warning and Anvil.

Facebook / SoundCloud (2 demos available 1989/1993 - streaming only)

The two demos could've been released on tape back then. I made a Facebook account to inquire, and indeed sent the band a message, but was blocked for security reasons soon afterwards. I don't think I'll be verifying my account any time soon, so the question is whether someone who has an account would like to take care of it.[/s]

A 1. Waltzing with Dead Bodies
A 2. Winds of Mourning & Despair

Samples would be nice, but considering the given genre, there should not be much room for error. Still...

Spoiler: show
1997, Thrash from New Jersey, USA

Despite being named "Theoriginalheavymetalmuseumsite" - he frequently mislables hard rock as metal and hardcore as thrash. Can't find any other info on this band but it doesn't look homemade enough to not be here already if it was thrash. Might buy it anyway but maybe someone can find something first?

I ordered that one and 3-4 others that I couldn't find anything on that seemed intriguing. We'll see if any pan out.

Here's some more:

Gravelbath
1993
http://www.ebay.com/itm/272207557973?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

TID or Truth is Dominant Demo '11
1991, Black Metal?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/380614082003?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

Sacrification Demo
Year unknown, CD-R
http://www.ebay.com/itm/152028433151?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

Allegory Demo 2002 - this one intrigues me. I'd be shocked with that logo if it isn't metal
2002, CD - Power/Thrash
http://www.ebay.com/itm/361266700004?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

Rise to Offend
2007, CD, Genre?
http://www.ebay.com/itm/331824262924?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

Recorded in a studio one block from my house as a kid. Probably pretty safe bet it can be added if we can figure out if this had some real distribution and what genre it is. I'm assuming Thrash since it's named after the Anvil Bitch record.

Icri's Witch Demo + In for the Kill
Cassette demo, CD full
http://www.ebay.com/itm/181959167096?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT
This one is really intriguing. Some sites out there have the full length up and they all say this is hard rock and there's an interview with the singer that doesn't make this sound metal but then there's this, which could pass for metal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXk-CsU3ZPc

Sacrification is here already:
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Sacrification/30944
https://myspace.com/sacrification/mixes ... o/88208721

The full Gravelbath tape is here, scroll down for it. Eh, not really on the metalness:
http://www.music.sonboleh.com/

Allegory:
There is a track from the demo on the player at the bottom of this page. Probably good enough, I think:
http://starcitymusicnotes.com/
More stuff:
http://starcitymusicnotes.com/artists/allegory/
https://www.facebook.com/Allegory1Rocks

Rise to Offend:
All tracks can be listened to here. Not sure about distribution, though. Metal for sure!:
https://myspace.com/craigsmilowski

The Tid tape is likely one of Bathym's creations (see this username.. no idea). Could be a bootleg of existing material or something original. No clue.

Might not need to because they are here under their new name Bloodboil:
http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Bloodboil/14501
They even reused Imposter on their album, which is pretty cut and dry brutal death metal:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MGWG9AK/ref=dm_ws_tlw_trk5
Could probably find a full sample somewhere but eh!

@TUA, well some creative googling was required

Duuude! How do you do this? Seems like your main intention for starting this thread was to "tease us out of thought".
Hey, feel like making an entry for Object? I don't think that demo should be listed under Bloodboil.

Alright here's three CDs from the same seller. Taking a look at his other listings, his descriptions seem somehow inaccurate. However, these are the ones I think could be metal.

Not Metal. - Tᴏᴅᴀʏ (ᴜsᴀ-ᴏʀ) (heavy metal/hard rock: band's description)
Spoiler: show

Not Metal. - Nᴏᴛʜɪɴɢ Pʀᴏᴍɪsᴇ
Spoiler: show
(black metal: seller's description / I don't think it's black metal but it could be metal; however, judging by the cover, I'd say it's crust)
eBay / Amazon

Not metal. - Vᴇʜᴇᴍᴇɴᴛ (ᴜsᴀ)
Spoiler: show
(heavy metal/thrash/grindcore: seller's description. I'd say it's a heavy metal/hard rock outfit, again judging by what's deceptive)
eBay

I'll see if I can find a copy of Vehement elsewhere. Even if it isn't metal, I think it might just be the kind of hard rock I enjoy.
Great work as usual, Hal!

I got the CD. It's rather tame alternative hard rock, not metal at all.

I would buy them if the shipping charge weren't that ridiculous.

Today:
I found the song, Down, on this myspace, not really metal.
Uploaded it here for you: http://www.mediafire.com/download/dqtay ... m/Down.mp3

Nothing Promise:
Yeah, this isn't black metal at all: http://web.archive.org/web/200106140744 ... aunted.mp3
This might be their myspace, same location but no songs from the album, still not metal: https://myspace.com/18007337

Vehement:
Can't find anything, but here's an auction with a clearer back pic and a pic of the inside with line-up and tracks:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VEHEMENT-IM-THE ... 2054952471

also updated the OP, hope I didn't miss anything

Despite being named "Theoriginalheavymetalmuseumsite" - he frequently mislables hard rock as metal and hardcore as thrash. Can't find any other info on this band but it doesn't look homemade enough to not be here already if it was thrash. Might buy it anyway but maybe someone can find something first?

Tape arrived. I was expecting hardcore/metalcore from the cover, but it's actually thrash. The chunky, groovy 90's stuff like Demolition Hammer, though with relatively tame vocals. Some USPM vibes. Add incoming, I'll add all the details after some food has found its way into my stomach.

Nice. Well, this guy does then seem to label his stuff correctly in the end. The only shady items are the "Heavy Metal/Hard Rock" items where everyone thinks all hair metal is actually metal.

Have a few more on the way: A demo from Mare Frigoris that isn't listed here.

Edit: Hmm, info is sketchy in the tape and the time frame is exactly right but the tape is 100% ambient - so I'm not sure they are the same band.

A demo by a Texas band called Double Cross which I'm thinking might be this one... http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Doublecross/127167

And some weird shit called Savage Garden (hopefully not the pop band) bought only because of the song titles of "Dungeon Witch" and "Mass Exodus" - have a feeling this is going to be some crap though.

and that Savage Garden tape - not even remotely in the ball park. Glad it was cheap.

There might be a CD of the split mentioned here, but I can't really find much else. Might just be referring to the digital version.
