The fuck, I got exactly three pairs, too. Are our families related somehow?

I did get two smoked salamis as a bonus, though!

A small coffeemaker (bachelor style, hah), some warm clothes, a new carpet for the kitchen (the only thing I wished for this year)... and that's about it. Also ordered myself few albums (Bruce Dickinson, Grave Digger).

It's great to spend Christmas here in the countryside. What will come of this holiday when the old folks aren't here anymore? Must be quite bleak.

Two thousand dollars, a few sweaters, few pairs of dress pants, and my girlfriend got me a first pressing of Open the Gates by Manilla Road. My favorite album of all time.

A $200 gift card, some great independent coffee, Bernie Sanders' Our Revolution book and the movie Don't Think Twice...not bad at all, I was happy.

My bad I forgot the money mom gave me (because it was early and I immediately spent it on presents), so actually $2400. My family is pretty serious about Christmas.

Matter of definition, I guess. Pope Francis sure would spin in his papamobil if he heard.

My grandma gave me $30 (which will come in handy in a country where that is not legal tender, surely), my aunt gave me American scratch-off lottery tickets and at the secret santa gift exchange at the Christmas party last night I got some hand cream that I gave away because who likes having gross greasy hands? Not this guy. My sister apparently sent me a box of stuff but it might not get here until February-ish.

Some Godzilla figures, two metal shirts (Maiden's Killers and the Bathory debut), four movies, a TGI Fridays gift card and miscellaneous clothes. Typical year, another nice haul from the family.

Do presents you buy for yourself count? If so, I got a gun. A PTR91, think Tom Clancy style HK battle rifle and it's pretty much an exact replica. My parents gave me some much needed cleaning supplies for it.

Nothing but the affirmation of why I don't care for this time of year.

And a pair of pajamas that I'm wearing so I don't make the giver feel bad.

Socks, PJs, candy and deodorant. All the essentials. Oh yeah and 50 bucks!

Also damn Jonpo, 2400 bucks would solve a lot of my problems.

Should do a Metal Archives pots-Christmas gift trading market or something. I'll trade my three pairs of socks for Jonpo's $2,400.

Still a Testament fan, I see, kiddo. :)

I got The Best of Al Di Meola - a sealed copy from 199x. :S Already have it.
+ Two Japanese pairs of socks from my cousin, who'd just been back from Tokyo. They look quite weird:

I got tickets to Covenant festival in Montreal in April so that's awesome. Also got some porn dvds, no joke. My buddy gave us all porn out of his personal collection last night. Kinda weird but funny as hell.

Mainly cheese and hot pepper/bacon dip, a set of knives, and some spiced rum. My grandma gave me $50, which is the same as all the grandkids get.

Stuff I bought for myself (this counts because I am my favorite person): a fuckton of vinyl (including the Super Mario Bros. game soundtrack on 7" record and the book analyzing the same soundtrack in the 33 1/3 series of books, otherwise mostly '70s stuff, some colored vinyl and picture discs), bunch of CDs, new guitar strings, string winder/cutter.

A couple of super fancy leather slippers (which I'm rocking right now btw). A bottle of Cuban rum, also fancy, and finally a perfume. So my family thinks that I'm a drunkard and I smell.

I got quite a bit, actually.

From my D&D buddies: I got both Bravely Second and Dragon Quest VII for the 3DS, as well as our DM's mom providing a ton of cookies and peanut butter fudge. I was not expecting this much, honestly.

From my grandma: $25 and a pair of sleep pants. Can't go wrong there.

From my mom (the big haul): Several anime blu-rays (full series of both Steins;Gate and Michiko & Hatchin, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Paprika, Tekkonkinkreet, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind), a log of Gardner's peanut butter meltaways, a Vegeta Funko Pop figure, a hardback illustrated special edition of Life of Pi, and an imported 8.5" Naoto Shirogane Persona 4 PVC figure. Also, obligatory Christmas package of underwear, socks, cologne, and khakis.

From myself (because fuck money): A brand-new computer chair. It's basically this one, but from a different brand.

For the raging consumer whore in me, this was a good Christmas.

Main present was the wife getting some roof racks and a built in awning for my 4wd. Slowly turning into a camping/offroad beast.. The missus has a knack for good presents.

Otherwise expecting a bunch of band shirts from my family's belated secret santa on the 28th of december. Feels good!

Some money, a copy of Brave New World, a couple flannels, a couple pairs of joggers, and a super comfy sweatshirt. Oh, and some Vans Sk8-His that I'll link to because I don't have any pictures I took.
Planning on blowing the money (and some of my own) on myself lol. Thinking Battlefield 1, more clothes, some band merch, and maybe a record player. Any recommendations on record players from yall? Oh, and merry Christmas to everyone! :-D :-D

A dutch oven, a silicon spatula for said dutch oven, a coffee grinder, a really good quality electric razor, the Earthsea book trilogy, a hardcover of Andrei Bely's Petersburg (total masterpiece btw) and a shirt jac from my grandparents.

Giftwise, a pretty decent Christmas indeed!

A Cincinnati Bengals toque along with a couple other hats, two nice shirts, a few pairs of Toronto Maple Leafs socks (along with some other Leafs memorabilia), an electric toothbrush, This book, and $120 cash and a 100 dollar shopping card, both of which will likely be blown on music. Can't complain!

A framed picture of you stabbing a guy with a sword- hmm...interesting present. BEST GIFT EVER?! Awesome.
They should have had you wear that chain mail hauberk before they took that picture.

I got a shop vise (my coolest and most interesting present) and a "Hard Wired...to Self Destruct" CD. And some other stuff, but these are my two most "metal" Christmas presents so I thought I'd share those.
