That's some cool artwork! I'll at least listen to the album since it seems interesting.

Indeed, good ol' Jef Whitehead of Leviathan did the artwork for them. Looks great as expected.

Uhh I'm listening to them and I don't think it's metal. I think they were approved without a discussion considering they're sort of borderline...

Yeah, it is very borderline, but I believe it was approved as a side project. After all, Dave Witte (Municipal Waste) is the drummer and they're signed to Relapse Records.

I haven't listened to it myself but we're not as mechanical on side projects as we used to be. Passing the notability portion should need more than simply being in a popular band, they themselves should be a figure that warrants it. Say it was Fenriz or Ozzy Osbourne or something then okay sure, that's easy, but Dave Witte? They might still be fine but "well this dude plays in a famous band" isn't the nearly automatic acceptance like it used to be.

My new death/doom metal album is coming out in 10 days and I'd love some reviews on the archives. If anyone's up for it, I'll send the whole thing out in a zip before the release date :)

I reckon hells_unicorn would have a great time with UDO's early albums and those albums are lacking in reviews anyway. Good forth you German metal loving Catholic fruitcake!

Canadian blackened progressive thrashers, Torrefy, have just released their new album "The Infinity Complex". It is a concept album that tells the story of a universe, from conception to demise. Please listen and review.

For after the challenge:

All four reviews for Mortician's Re-animated Dead Flesh are useless because they are all from people who don't like Mortician, no one has any way of knowing how it stacks up to the rest of their discography among those who appreciate the band.

Maybe it's a hint that none of the community's Mortician fans bothered to review it, still very unhelpful for bandwagon bashers to gang up on the one album with no other reviews.

Should be cruel and constantly refer to the Wesley Crusher episode of that name in a review.

Hi! I was wondering if anybody was interested in doing a review for the album Kosmokrator by Spite Extreme Wing : i think it is a wonderful barrage of riffs and it has a unique, very mediterranean sound.. it saddens me to see it without reviews, ignored even by the ten or so SEW fans of the world :(

I can't do that myself because i'm still struggling with the language, but i'll be happy to see a well done review of this truly forgotten album, it deserves that imho :)

Hi everyone, I'm the rhythm guitarist and vocalist for the chilean death metal band Rapture. We would love to see a review of our first release, a demo called Scourge of Blasphemy that we released last April and, apparently, it went under eveyones radar. We play a sort of old school death metal with a lot of thrash injected into it. Our main influences are Repugnant, Angelcorpse, Morbid Angel and Behemoth but we try to have a sound of our own.

Bandcamp (demo streaming): https://rapturedeathmetal.bandcamp.com/

YouTube (demo streaming and live videos): https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCHjwlvjl5-t8Uv03o7s6cdA

Metal Archives (page for the release): http://www.metal-archives.com/albums/Rapture/Scourge_of_Blasphemy/579345

Thanks!

Hello everyone, can somebody review the album ''le coeur de la noirceur'' from the band ''La flamme d'Agni''? It's more or less a black metal release.

My band This Eternal Cold released an album today. We blend elements of Black Metal, and Deathcore with a few other styles. I'd love to hear some detailed opinions on it.

It would mean a great deal to me if anyone who is interested enough in the music would review my second demo, "Prismatic Ecstasies of the Abysmal Kingdom" for my one-man black/death/thrash metal project Wanderer of the Waste. It is the only release I have that is without a review.

The entire demo is available for listening in this playlist.

Well, my recent solo project has started getting serious by the latter half of last year with my debut full-length album. If you like your Gothic Metal heavy and with actual guitar riffs, as well as old Goth/Post-Punk bands like Sisters of Mercy, The Cure or The Sound, you might enjoy what I'm doing.

Metal-Archives entry: http://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Adder%27s_Fork/3540416453

"A Farewell to Expectations" is available for free as a digital download/album stream or as a professional CD - which I'd send to your home, free of any postal charges, no matter where you live in this world - in exchange for a honest review.

I can guarantee that my music is no run-of-the-mill bedroom metal tripe and that I put a lot of work into it. I'd love to get some more opinions.

Get in touch.

Just started listening to Malevolent Creation, Dead Man's Path, and I'm really surprised at just how razor sharp and brutal it sounds. I had actually basically given up on this band, but this sounds like a real late career classic so far. Somehow though, no reviews up for it.

Anyone wanna give it a listen and a review? Reviews aren't really my thing :-P

Band:Impact

Album:Take the pain

Hoping someone will give them a listen and review. Albums from '91. Really killer thrash album. I tried to review it myself, but it got rejected. Admittedly I'm not very good at writing something like a review. I edited and resubmitted , so I'll see what happens, but I'd just like to see this album get some due justice. Lots of great reviewers on here so hope someone takes a crack at it.

Though it's inevitable, I'd love to see some reviews of "The Grinding Wheel", as I'm curious to see what others thought! Preferably without the first paragraph being a "history of the band's discography" paragraph, like a lot of people did with "Gods Of Violence" perhaps?
