Not much lately but pleased with what I got:

Melvins - Houdini (promo copy from 93)
Neuro Visceral Exhumation - Mass Murder Festival (original No Escape press)
Noothgrush - Live for Nothing
Daughters - You Won't Get What You Want

Been counting the days for the new Daughters and it did not dissapoint, maybe AOTY for me.

Is "filling out the collection" code for buying albums you don't like because you are a completist?

LP's:

Baron Rojo - Brutal Volume
Death Angel - Frolic Through the Park

Baron Rojo was quite good. Not a big fan of thrash metal, but at least the A side of Death Angel sucked.

Not in this case. For some reason I just never got this record despite having the two surrounding it.

Panphage Jord, which I ordered because of its mention in the Year's Best So far Thread, came in the mail yesterday from Amazon.
Fine Pagan Metal
My next purchase is liable to be the Nachtmystium. Naturally, I'm reluctant to pre-order anything from this artist.

Funny, I received a newsletter from Season of Mist about the pre-order on that new EP. Let's see if it really sees the light of day or not, and if people do buy it.

Some of my latest purchases, really happy with them too! I only buy LP's, no CD's.

Bought both the NIN's because I was incredibly disappointed about the absolute garbage remasters of these:

Nine Inch Nails - Broken
Original 1992 release in almost mint condition with 7".

Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
2008 reissue because the original LP is unaffordable and this one sounds just as good :P.

Bad Religion - No Control
Bad Religion - Against the Grain
Both original releases from 1989 and 1990 and literally, as good as new! Absolute mint in every way. I couldn't believe it for albums almost 30 years old and they sound absolutely marvelous.

I just went on a huge Sepultura and Soulfly kick in anticipation of Ritual, which I ended up streaming online and decided against purchasing.

I learned I really don't like Soulfly very much, buy I unexpectedly dug a lot of the Derrick Green era Seps stuff I'd missed out on. So I found these CDs on eBay:

Sepultura - Dante XXI
Sepultura - A-Lex
Sepultura - Kairos

I also streamed Sepulutura's most recent album, Machine Messiah and had the same opinion of it as I did Ritual. It was okay, but I didn't like it enough to spend money on it.

Over the last month I've also accumulated a bunch of '90s music CDs plus a few newer albums that aren't exactly metal:

Jason Ibell and the 400 Unit - Live at the Ryman
Killing Joke - Absolute Dissent
Flipper - Love
Melvins - Chicken Switch
RATM - The Battle of Los Angeles
Sevendust - Sevendust
Nirvana - From the Muddy Banks of the Wishkah
The Offspring - Smash
Green Day - Dookie
Only Living Witness - Prone Mortal Form
Metallica - Metallica
Nirvana - Bleach
Dead Can Dance - The Serpent's Egg

So that was a pretty decent haul. Should probably stop spending money for a while.

My wife and I just finished the reboot of Twin Peaks and saw NIN perform during one of the episodes.
Okay band; better mini-series.
