it's ridiculous.
as for me borders, passports, taxes system and even google maps are much more solid arguments than acceptance of some stupid organisation in UNITED STATES, which should f.ck off from this area and not pry to every country affairs.
I try to be apolitical, however since Crimea was "annexed" in 2014 I guess we should consider it as a Russian territory de-facto until something will change in peninsula's REAL life, not it some yankee's brains

I know you're personally upset by this Shadechaser, but we decided long ago that we didn't want to get involved in fights over what is and isn't a "country." Instead, we've opted to rely on a standardized list provided by a reputable third-party, and leave it up to any users that are upset with that list to file a protest with the group responsible for making it. Crimea is currently listed under Ukraine.

By the way, the International Organization of Standardization (ISO) isn't just "some stupid organization in United States," it's a United Nations supported organization, headquartered in Switzerland, that has representatives from over 162 countries. Russia is one of its members.

Well, I'll try to live with it )))
By the way, Russian and English pages about ISO on Wikipedia slightly differ.
Firstly, Russian one mentions that ISO was created basing on ISA (disbanded in 1942 and located in USA - these words were the reason for me to think that ISO is American organisation)
Secondly, "Criticism" section says there were several times when some countries appealed it's operations and there are much doubts on it's neutrality.

Is there a special reason, that an obviously unreleased demo of Vaakevandring was added this year to their discography? Please see here: http://heavymetalrarities.com/forum/vie ... 53&t=20647

So I know tastepolice just came off of a misinformed rant back over here... viewtopic.php?f=3&t=122742

Please send him a notification to not ignore a mod warning to add incomplete/guesswork lyrics (added back the removed lyrics for Fear Factory - Desecrate back in August which are obviously wrong. I'm ripping those out).

Someone added my band Yawning Void, even though the album is not yet released and now it reads wrong, that it is released 2018, but it will be released on tape and digitally 31.1.2019 as stated on our Bandcamp-page. I reported this, but for reason unknown to me admin refuses to delete the add. Also lots of the information on the adding of the band is wrong. You can see the discussion from the Yawning Void page and see how it is handled. Poorly that is. Please, anyone able to, delete the current page. I will add the band with correct information.

I have reported, that the album is not out yet, providing links to Bandcamp and to your post in this thread and request a moderator's attention. Don't worry, I am sure, that the report will be handled soon. See here: https://www.metal-archives.com/report/view/id/661062

hmmmmm, it's certainly debatable whether this still constitutes a valid release. Not all agreed that it doesn't, but after some discussion we decided to delete it again.

I am writing this, only because even though I am not all that active (as of late, when I am on here) I find myself sometimes messing up, in general. And, it is not on purpose. I am hoping that I am writing what I am saying on the correct post(?), so please forgive if I am not.

I am currently going through a shit-load of stresses, computer not working (which is the main reason why I have hardly been on here to edit much of anything lately), trying to find another place to live, going through depressive shit, etc.... it seems to never end...

At any rate, I feel like I need to let you guys know that I keep finding myself, that when I add things, or edit things that I catch myself fucking up said edits and shit, and this is something that I am not doing at all on purpose, just got a shit-lot on my mind and I am just not thinking straight. I am trying not to be on here unless I feel like I just ((have)) to edit something, because I know to edit something. However, I am sure that I may still be leaving behind maybe (possible wrong info, or such??? (like today I added Deadlife's new album "6" and it was released today, entered it in as being released in 2019! wth!) - shit like that...

If anything like this gets caught, please know that anything that I have edited, IF it was a wrongful edit was not intentional, (I don't think that I have made a wong edit, and not gone back and re-corrected it; but feel like I need to inform you guys just in case) cause my mind is such in fucking disarray, right now. I do not want to ever do anything to go against the rules of the site.

I am trying my hardest not to fuck up, but sometimes I am still doing that. And, I am sorry that I am doing that.

On the Black Tribe bandcamp I always used to choose to have no artwork, but for a year or so (I don't remember), bandcamp doesn't allow that anymore, so I just put a blank image. I gotta say I don't quite get the point of someone adding that blank image as a cover on M-A, shouldn't it be obvious that the releases have no artwork?

Pag numerously adds "Bandcamp merch" links to the bands' links section, despite the general bandcamp link exists already.
eg., he adds https://sargerashb.bandcamp.com/merch for Sargeras while https://sargerashb.bandcamp.com/ is present in band's database.

The line-up added by Devourthe13th is correct according to the band's Facebook page, but he forgot to file a report to move the past members.

I wouldn't consider that point-whoring or anything that belongs here, just general idiocy...

Agreed, but I could understand why someone would still upload the artwork shown, even if it's just a blank image. Not really breaking any rules or doing any harm either way.

Someone added lyrics for Batushka's Litourgiya album, however I can't find them from any official source, only the ones from Genius. So should I remove them?

I've removed them. The user that added them clearly ignored the mod warning. User critically warned.

I'm assuming that I'm addressing this in the correct place, so please forgive if not, but....

(here): https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Gast/3540420379

Earlier this morning, got surprized with a "surprize" release from Rafn, (of Gast), he asked me to make the band status "unknown", unto which I had, because he is not sure if he is coming back to it after this release. That being said....

Making a note of it here, as 0th just changed it to "active", in turn I had to re-change it again to "unknown". I feel like maybe I need to note this publically (which is why I am writing this comment on the forums), I know that 0th didn't know, but I do know, so just putting this here so everyone knows.

If he was def coming back to it, then yes it would def need to be showing as "active"; but again he doesn't know if in the future he will come back to it....

So, hope it's alright to say that :)

Also, thank you for being so understanding Storm of the Light's Bane, much appreciated! :)

I would've changed it to active myself, as 0th did. However, given your firsthand knowledge, this is an "on hold" case.
"Unknown" isn't used when the band's future plans are tentative; but when it isn't known what's happened to a band.

Bumping as it's still bugging me:

I see his last "dump" was a few days ago, so he must've taken heed, thanks. I'll clean those up in the evening. He's added quite a few.

All gone (+200 points) except for those on Shakra's page. Not sure, but he may be familiar with the band.
I recommend that his point count go back to 250. Probably a good place to start. Your call.
