So, one of mine firends is looking for In Flames compilation for a driving (:D) , but he's only into newer stuff, so that means - from Route to Remain to nowdays. Early IF doesn't interest him at all. Since I ain't familiar with their recent discography, would some of you be so kind to just write/suggest 10-11 their best recent songs, say, from 2002-2018.

Can't resist... just give him a blank CD and your done. But seriously as far as i know they never released a greatest hits or compilation album so he will probably have to make his own CD-R or playlist. I only like their old stuff up until 2000 so i can't give you any tip, sorry.

That lazy fuck better take his interest in music seriously and work on his own compilation. We owe him nothing.

A Sense of Purpose is basically all you need, at least as a starting point.

The 4 albums from Reroute to Remain to Sense of Purpose are good. I tend to listen to albums in their entirety. It's only 4 albums anyway, get him those 4 and let him figure out what songs he likes.

This would be a solid compilation:

1. Drained
2. Sounds of a Playground Fading
3. I, the Mask
4. The Mirror's Truth
5. The Quiet Place
6. Come Clarity
7. Alias
8. Rusted Nail
9. The Chosen Pessimist
10. Discover Me Like Emptiness
11. Cloud Connected
12. Liberation
13. Your Bedtime Story Is Scaring Everyone

In Flames we trust!

yup, that's the guy :D

Well, anyway I think I'm gonna throw some 10 songs which were used as singles from that albums and finish the story.

Really? They're not giving Clayman a chance? Only For the Weak could be right up their alley.

The only In Flames songs I even remotely like from that period, in order of how much I like them:

1. Egonomic (absolutely love this song)

2. System (really like these three)
3. Take This Life
4. Metaphor

5. Evil In A Closet (these two are good)
6. Scream

7. The Mirror's Truth (these two are me REALLY scraping for something)
8. Cloud Connected

The rest IMO is really bad.

There's absolutely NOTHING good on the In Flames' catalog from Route to Remain onwards. Get yourself a new friend that can dig on Clayman and Colony at the very least.
