Thin Lizzy - Dedication

For a song that was done posthumously after Phil Lynott's passing, this rocks! This is the first Thin Lizzy song I ever heard and still remains my favorite.

Black Sabbath - Sabbath Bloody Sabbath

Guitar riffs are excellent on this album.

9.3/10

I'm only on the first song but it kicks ass at the moment.

Razor - Enforcer

Razor was never the most original band on the block, but with riffing this catchy, who the hell cares?

Hate Forest - Sorrow

Damn, this is very cold, evil black metal. Extremely hateful. Although, nothings is like Scythia. Scythia is probably the most grim release I've ever heard.

^Hate Forest is great. "Purity" might be my favorite. In general I may even prefer them to Drudkh.

NP: Akhlys - "The Dreaming I"

Excellent astral spooky bm. Taps into a kind of sleep paralysis vibe. Brb gonna go travel to the dreamlands and get eaten by ghouls.

I think Hate Forest is way better than Drudkh.

Avantasia - Alchemy

This might be their most consistent work yet - no tracks I find weaker than the others, where most of their albums previously have had one or two. The energy and fire in this, jesus, it's just through the roof. Even Geoff Tate sounds good.

Listening to some kickass rock tunes while getting shit ready to go up and attempt to fix my roof. It's gonna be a long day. Wish me luck guys.

Avantasia - Ghost in the Moon

Candlemass - Seven Silver Keys

The door of doom is slowly opening! Messiah was a beast in this band!

Love this song, and well the whole self titled album is really good!

Sigh - Aletheia

Another spin on the latest album.
Lots of stuff going on as always, lots of folkish feeling on this one.
Needs some time I think, last album clicked right away.

Sigh - Heresy (Part 1: Oblivium)

Brooding with weird space like sounds, almost Synthwave ish at times.
For sure one of my favorites bands out there.
So glad I got to see them live some years ago, that was when ''Dr. Mikannibal'' was pregnant and showed here baby belly on stage, ha.
Would love to see them again.

Borknagar - The Winter Eclipse

No winter in sight, with all the sun and warmth these days. There's Borknagar to bring some winter chill, fantastic song.

Spaceslug - Lemanis (2017)

Very impressed with what I hear. Solid doom metal with clean vocals. Known about this band forever but finally getting around to checking them out. Two thumbs WAY up!

Theatre of Tragedy - City of Light

Out of everything on their eurotrash albums, this song is the one that sounds closest to what they did before. It's just an Aegis song with crunchier guitars and Dalek vocal effects.

My fave BM song. He was one of the greatest musicians of our time. Solely responsible for bringing reggae to the masses. Give it a listen guys. Awesome stuff.

Voices - Music for the Recently Bereaved

Still not sure if I like London more than Words that Go Unspoken... but hell, both are absolutely monumental albums.

Autumn - Old Fuel

This is an album of seemingly endless, delicate, inscrutable layers and I am transfixed... they really put hard work into these songs.
