Hello.
I hope this is the right thread for the request ..

I very much enjoy the combination of dark ambient music and acoustic guitars (or, alternatively, dark ambient and ~clean electric guitars) in one track, but most of the neofolk projects that I know of tend to separate electronic and acoustic music.
Nature-inspired neofolk music fits, but most of all I would like to find songs/albums with pure electronic/industrial sound.
Maybe someone knows dark ambient projects that use acoustic/clean guitars in their albums..
Examples:
Desiderii Marginis - That Which Is Tragic and Timeless (the tracks Worlds Apart, Still Life, The Weight of the World, The Love You Find in Hell)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gO3sMqnjYoo
Peter Bjärgö - The Architecture of Melancholy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xe3t6bztC_Y
Also, I like when the members of an atmospheric doom metal band Void of Silence use dark ambient music as a background to acoustic parts of the albums:
CXVIII
White Light Horizon

Heads up, The Angelic Process - Weighing Souls With Sand is finally getting re-released on CD and their entire discography is available on vinyl.

Been a while since anybody posted in here, kind of a shame...

So, I've really gotten into this Dutch band called Gold. Their guitarist was originally in The Devil's Blood, and you can definitely detect it in Gold's first album (which is a pretty straightforward psych rock direction), but their two most recent works are a very cold, modern sounding post-punk/deathrock hybrid with some post-rocky textures. The vocals are very solemn lower range female singing that kind of adds to the whole deathrocky vibe that I'm getting from them.

Anyhow, I'm curious if anybody can think of anything that sounds like these guys. I've seen them compared to The Devil's Blood quite a bit, but I find Gold to be a lot rawer and less occult. I'd like to find some other modern post-punk bands that have this kind of cold vibe with it and really good, sinister vocals.

Here are a couple of songs I think are similar for what I'm looking for:

Hello.
I'm looking for "multi-layered" dark/ritual ambient with drums/percussion.
Some vocals/samples are a plus (preferably without distortion and throat singing).
Examples:
Inade - The World Behind the World
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWZzS224PxI
Lamia Vox - Lapis Occultus
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vm7MT73ZBM
Phelios - Passing The Solar Firestorms
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0fRD4k0YEs
Damballah - Demanbwe

Hey, late answer, but here some names you might enjoy.
Maybe you already know these ones since they are on the same label (Kranky) :

Belong : they have 2 great albums
Loscil : ambient electronic from Vancouver, many albums, all good enough
Jefre-Cantu Ledesma, maybe his Love is a Stream abum ?

Otherwise, try M Geddes Gengras or Brett Naucke.

Been getting into darkwave a lot lately. Have never really delved into electronic music because it's just so broad and varied, and I'm pretty picky about it...but as a fanatic fan of black metal, I really like dark music in general, and darkwave has really resonated with me as of late. It's almost synth-poppy but obviously way darker. I found this project from the UK called Linea Aspera which is absolutely fucking amazing. They were only around from 2011-2013 but from what I can tell, their music is top notch. Any weirdos got any similar recommendations to stuff like this? Thanks!

Also this project called Hante has been another darkwave favorite of mine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-jhQsEsAoKI

Hey Maniac Matis; I didn't know Linea Aspera, but this kind of female-fronted depressed Darkwave makes me think of some projects that might be to your taste:
Cold Zebra: https://youtu.be/MIUI49bmUkA
Volkova: https://youtu.be/RH7g8L_enwA
Switchblade Symphony: https://youtu.be/A3dEWeu7aII
Rïcïnn: https://youtu.be/rC1WeBxxvuw

And a special faourite of mine: https://newhaunts.bandcamp.com

Hello.
I'm looking for some electronic music similar to these tracks:
ASC - Ceres (https://youtu.be/OhocZrw5x3g)
ASC - Arc (https://youtu.be/QA2WDgQyszs)
Something with layers of atmospheric ambience (+ maybe with some kind of soft noise), with a pronounced sad/melancholic (but not too dark/gloomy) mood, and with some interesting mid tempo and/or fast tempo electronic (techno?..) rhythms.
The long track duration (more than 10 minutes) and some dynamics/variety of music are a plus.

I know almost nothing about this kind of rhythmic electronic music and "Selected Ambient Works 85-92" by Aphex Twin is the only ambient techno - related album that I've listened to, -- so any recommendations are welcome.

I don't know shit about this genre, but I recently fell in love with Apparat, there're vocals and it's more organic than what you're looking for maybe. I found it on the Denovali store. Denovali is a German label specialized in Dark non-metal music, like Jazz, electro, drone, ambient. I recommend it.

Stuff like Ben Lukas Boysen or The Cinematic Orchestra might get your attention too.

browse their catalogue by styles here:

Morphine1873, thanks for the recommendations!
Apparat's music is very atmospheric and interesting, and what the nice and sad/soothing vocals on some albums! Love at first listening. ♥
Ben Lukas Boysen and The Cinematic Orchestra also are very atmospheric and beautiful projects.

I think the main problem with those two tracks from the examples is that ASC's discography was started with some drum and bass style, but then the author and musician of this project decided to create some kind of techno-style music.., but somehow those techno-rhythms turned out to be some sort of experimental/drum and bass - related, and therefore the genre is not that accurate/important for this request. I apologize for such a vague description.
The main idea of the request is that there should be some quite intense rhythmic component, and there should be some atmospheric ambient/noise component that softens and smooths this rhythmic intensity and makes the overall sound of a track smoother and calmer/less aggressive.
The interest to this kind of electronic music was inspired by this request, -- I just wanted to find some kind of very atmospheric and quite intense/dynamic (but not so dark and disturbing) electronic music that has a similar effect on me. I was listening to random playlists with different atmospheric electronic music and noticed that, for some strange reason, those two tracks by ASC work perfectly for me. Unfortunately, there are very few similar tracks in his discography, so now I'm trying to find other atmospheric+techno - related projects.
Thanks for sharing that label's link. I'll check it out. :)

Edit: I've found another example. This track is not so long and atmospheric, but it has a similar sad mood, some interesting rhythms, and hypnotic/soothing effect:
Infans - Vacil (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01M6wHOb9KY)
