^I think that's some pretty awesome and interesting guitar work for sure. There could be more to the tracks but there's definitely a foundation of something I'd personally find very enjoyable.

Anyway, my band Noosefiller is proud to finally release our third full length, technical and progressive black metal for fans of Thantifaxath and Gorguts: https://noosefiller.bandcamp.com/album/noosefilller

An amalgamation of some black metal ideas I have had for a little while. I may eventually re-structure and/or separate it into multiple tracks.

Hello,

To Kommanderhooyah
Great atmosphere, I really enjoyed your work!

To Amber Gray
Too much noisey/cacophonic for my taste, but I believe there are people who would appreciate.

I'm working on my solo black/death metal project for the first time and as I have some ideas on a style in music writing, I wanted to ask you guys what you think about it.
Please be rude, sincere, polite or whatever, I'm ready to take it all!
Here is the link to the song coming from soundcloud. Crank up the volume!

https://soundcloud.com/user-967009297/my-god-i-have-my-fathers-hand

Thanks in advance

Ok I have no musical ability at all so here is three songs recorded using two fingers, five strings and about four frets via my laptop's webcam mic and audacity, it's rough as a badger's chuff.

I'm working on album right now and have all the tracks written out on gp/midi, I'm interested in hearing peoples opinions of it if you dont mind me sending it to you over email. (I'd rather not post the album publicly before we release it)

My band could best described as a mix of progressive and folk metal. We're equally inspired by band like Opeth and Enslaved as well as Primordial and Moonsorrow.

My email is [email protected]

Here is a video of my band playing one of our songs. I'm the guy with the red guitar

This song has a mix of a lot of things and has a mainly Greek bm/dm influence, what do you guys think? Any critiques? (It was recorded on a phone though so the sound isn't perfect)

well after many painstaking hours of extreme and frustrating micro-editing, I have finished the lone Trouble Salad album of 2018, and to make up for the rest of the year I figured it should be phat. Psychedelic idm/drum n bass/post-industrial/experimental rock/noise/post-disco/dubstep/etc. https://troublesalad.bandcamp.com/album ... dle-fiasco

Hey guys.
Would love some feedback on this stuff, mainly the production side of things. It's all done in house so no outsourcing for the production process.
What would you have done differently? How does it sound overall?

I released this back in October but I'd really like to hear some opinions if anyone's interested. Thrashy stuff with occasional elements of doom, black, death, trad, etc. interspersed throughout. I played, wrote, and produced everything here so it's pretty amateurish and rough, especially the mixing (my first demo was literally recorded with a phone, mind you, so It's a step up even if that step is creaky and splintered), but I'd love to hear some other people's opinions and criticisms/comments. Thanks in advance, hope you guys enjoy it!

Im looking for feedback on my song structures to be honest. Production and guitar tone can be adjusted, but song structure and arrangement is difficult. Of course some constructive criticism is very welcome. Heres a link to the playlist of the last 3 songs Ive done and shared online.

Hey guys, I'd like some feedback on the overall sound of my newest ep. I did everything myself in my basement and have improved leaps and bounds. I wish I put more effort into the drum sounds and made them cavernous or something for some flavour but drum mixing is totally new to me so hopefully the next batch has a bit more there to chew on.

Hello! We're Feuerwind from Russia, Moscow :) Currently there are 6 instruments in Feuerwind: female vocals (me), lead and rhythm guitars, bass guitar, violin and drums. The backing vocals for the song were recorded by a vocalist of the band who we are good friends with. The music and lyrics were written by our bass guitarist, all our songs are mostly written in German, but we are planning to write songs in English and Russian. We also have one song in Finnish.

Meet The Enablers.
This is their album, Threshold of Disgust https://theenablers.bandcamp.com/releases
I recorded it in the room of a sketchy boarding house during a drunk mental breakdown, projecting some of my issues onto cartoon characters I created.
It's a style I like to call "true New Hampshire drunk wave".
If you're a fan of Sheer Terror, you may or may not enjoy this.

Hi, I'm working in this demo, and maybe re-record all in hi-fi, but I need honest opinions, a type of producer, which is wrong here?, I feel like a lower quality work compared with a previous EP, why it is? take into account that it is raw black metal

Demo in I'm looking for honest opinions. Recently work: https://draugenblackmetal.bandcamp.com/album/grim-forest-sky

the previous ep that I think is more accomplished than the demo: https://draugenblackmetal.bandcamp.com/album/dark-vermis

Hello,
So I recently released a song titled Astora - Mistful Eyes. The song is Black/Death metal.
About the band:
It is not a band, its just me, a guy from Slovenia making different metal songs. I do everything by myself.

Please check it out and give me some feedback, thanks!

okay first off there's some clipping issues with the acoustic guitars. but nothing that can't be fixed. and the drums that come in during that are just totally off time. as in to what you are playing. when everything kicks in. this is much better. the clipping is just on the verge but it's controlled. I bet with a real drummer this material would really sing.

when the vocals kick in and everything I really didn't expect that and enjoy it. I would say even put the vocals up a bit more in the mix with a bit of reverb. I really hate the clean vocals. they aren't very toneful. more tone deaf. I get what you are trying to do your range should be deeper. the dirtier vocals are far better. at least you mixed the cleans down further. they need to be worked on more. if you did a dirtier up range vocal for those parts it would be better i think. the transistion at 3:35 if you are going to do a complete stop like that it should've been a little longer I feel. I do like the riffs, I don't mind how this song is sorta all over the place with riffing style. it keeps it interesting and all the riffs are well done and performed. build up towards 4:50 seems awkward when it first starts out. ending I do feel could be drawn out longer with possibly a solo or right vocal hook.

good start if this is a start.

Greetings. I have recently been working on my black/doom project again and would like some feedback on the structure of the track. It is still instrumental and is not the final release version of the track. Any constructive feedback is appreciated, but as mentioned, I am primarily seeking feedback for the song structure. Thank you.

I like the intro I like how it starts. i'm not really a fan of how the drums are programmed when they are introduced. I didn't mind so much once it hit in at 2:45 that sounds right but the begining with the drums just sounds slightly off. Other than that I really enjoyed the song overall. I like the production overall how it's that sorta wash wavy sound overall. I think you have the right approach of tension and release. very awesome.

needs a lot more work in the mixing. All i can make out is vocals and the snare. the guitar just sounds like noise till around :55. and not that it sounds better I just can make it out at that point. the build up going back into 1:24 is nice. but I don't like how the drums lead into it, the drums sound oddly ass sloppy as fuck sounding for being programmed. I guess it's supposed to be manic it just sounds like a parkison's patient on the snare.

the vocals really do overpower everything cause the mix doesn't sound as bad when they are going. But the guitar tone is just horrid VST. or a really painfully processed amp modeler sounding to me.

overall sound structure has good tension and release. a few parts around and after 3mins go on for too long when it gets to 4:10 that riff solid with the drumming. the bass does something that almost makes it sound off time.

overall not the biggest fan of the vocals, they don't kill it for me, just sound a bit off.

Edit: additional note-

I don't hear where the fuck this was melodic at any point. anything that sounded like it was supposed to be harmonized was out of tune but I figured that was on purpose. Like this is more similar in guitar riffs to noisegrind/noisecore bands like Holy Boner or SkullxPiercer

Recently I released a new song called Astora - Perished.
The song is Progressive Black metal.
Musically the biggest influence is Opeth.
Lyrics are inspired by Dark Souls, specifically about Solaire of Astora.

I do everything myself. From the vocals, guitars, mixing, and so on...

I would really appreciate it, if you could check it out and give me some feedback.
