And, by the way, i read this somewhere on site:

"We simply do not work that way. Each band is assessed and judged on its own merit and trying to compare two distinct bands is treacherous business, even if they may sound similar (which a moderator may not even agree with in the first place). And if the two are indeed sonic carbon copies, perhaps the listed one should be deleted instead. Obviously that is not the only possible scenario and claiming two bands sound the same does not automatically invalidate an argument. It's just very, very often misguided (see below) and we think it's more precise (as much as these things can be) to assess each band as a self-contained entity rather than add even more subjectivity and ambiguity by bringing other bands into the reviewing process."

And someone replied me at the time with the above thing, without any single explained reason why they would be really similar or copy to E or anyway unacceptable:

"Sounds similar to Evanescence"

Coherence, this unknown thing... and by the way, they are not so similar o copy of that band, which it's just one of their influences, the others are all or almost all metal bands around gothic style.

If you mean this, it should be evident what Diamhea was responding to. What that passage means is that we don't want to base these decisions entirely/primarily on "if band A, then band B", without listening, since that's often a kneejerk response to rejections. Doesn't mean we can't listen to a band and then conclude that they are unacceptable and sound similar to another unacceptable band by way of explanation.

I didn't blacklist them, but the tracks you linked are indeed borderline. I can see where the blacklisting is coming from. I'd want to listen to the entire release before deciding either way. EDIT: Right, that's three out of four tracks on an EP. Not really confident overturning this one.
