Brilliant! I have a friend spending a lot of time in Scotland soon, so I'm gonna send this to her. I'll also be in the U.K. soon myself so might have to borrow some of your itinerary.

Whatever you do, make sure to visit at least one whisky distillery! Almost all of them have a visitor center and make tours and stuff.

I'm not into drinking whisky/spirits but I did find a free tasting of a whisky liqueur at Edinburgh Castle and that was good enough for me. I do know that those basic whisky stones aren't great physics. I looked it up recently because my girlfriend likes ice cubes in her wine, haha.

Your itinerary is substantial. You went all over the friggin shop! Saw a couple stops on your list I recognized.
Last spring we spent a few days in the Highlands with most of our time around Fort William and that peninsula southwest of there but went over the high road from Inverness to get there as there was a bike race going on along Loch Ness when we got in, went kayaking out of Arisaig, hiked to the Lost Valley and around Ben Nevis, spent time in Glencoe, ate local mussels and fresh-caught fish with local whiskey, went to Leakey's bookshop, sat by the fire and had tea reading a book on the beginning of the Crofting movement while it rained, watched the moon rise over Loch Linnhe. It's beautiful there.
