Hi there, loking for Black Metal but slow (no blast beats, or just few). Something like the song Metamorphosis by Funeral Mist or Aurorae by Tryptikon. It must be really dark, heavy and powerfull

Slow and bleak BM

Hate Forest/ Batterfields
Lurker of Chalice/ st
Inquisition/ any album
Beherit/ Engram

I don't think Tryptikon qualifies for the BM tag, but anyhow, if you like them, there's that one Finnish band that took a lot of inspiration from their sound, it's 0xist, now disbanded:

The first Carpathian Forest demo, check my review if you want more details, but it's pretty much black metal Saint Vitus.

Samael could fit this request as well: dark, heavy and powerful it is.

On a side note, to me, The Ruins od Beverast is now a doom band. The first couple of albums are blackier. But, of all albums, Exuvia is doom.

When a guy who opens a thread with a request doesn't react to any of the recs that are made, it opens the scope of leads. Only him could tell us if we're on the wrong track... So, I rather stick to the thread title for others to find some food in this niche...

Check the latest album by greek band Nocternity, "Harps of the Ancient Temples". There is only one song with blast beats, the rest is awesome mid tempo black metal.

I suggest that for clarity, the title of this thread should be changed to something like "non-atmospheric slow black metal". The point is to highlight stuff " really dark, heavy and powerful" as the guy who started this thread requested.
If not, I feel it's going to become a plain black doom recommendation thread, which is far more common.

I was thinking of Satyricon too; albums like Volcano and Now, Diabolical...

This could qualifiy as well; it's really a mix of Doom and Black, crushing, crawling and possessed; pretty good stuff that totally fits in this thread, imo:

Mortuus should be up your street - the first LP is fantastic and has very few faster sections.

Ancient Wisdom’s first album is pretty slow-to-midpaced. The German band Cerberus has a pretty good, older album called Klagelieder-Grabesgesang that features a lot of slower, plodding stuff. Raw but fun. I know of more but am strapped for time atm.
