I know this band / album pretty well and I can see why this should be considered
definitely has riffs in there isn’t just chug-chug deathcore but a mod may disagree

We need PDS, Midnight Rider, Krister Jensen, Azmodes or Storm of the Light's Bane here.

This band apparently used to be on the Archives, but was deleted in 2009 for being too -core. I respectfully disagree with that - this sounds perfectly acceptable IMO - but it seems like it was evaluated decently thoroughly, so blacklisting stays.

Hey, Mutant. The re-releases are valids to a re-evaluation and to appeal for a band or not? Check:

I've listened to Heathen [Remastered] and I'm 100% 'OK' with it.
I hear a shitload of classic Gothemburg-influenced melodeath riffs in their deathcore sound.

If you think it's acceptable as well, I'll whitelist it and we can see how it does in the queue.

EDIT: but to answer your question, TheStealthP, a re-release/remaster is not inherently worth re-evaluating if we've already listened to the original release, unless it were, say, a case of a band that was so noisy on their original release that no riffs could be heard, but the remaster led to the riffs being audibly metal. So please don't use this as a precedent.

Ok, count on that, MutantClannfear.
