Hello, I was wondering why Come to Pass has been blacklisted. I do not recall a specific reason why it was not allowed to be submitted in the first place. If it is due to how raw the material is, do not pull that card, please. The EP was the final product and was supposed to be that gritty, in the vein of the old death metal bands. That is what the founder of the band told me himself.

Seems that the mods agreed it was unacceptable on two levels: 1) more -core than metal, and 2) the production was bad beyond what might be reasonably attributed to artistic intent. One mod said that the sound levels varied between tracks, for example. “Grittiness” of the mix aside, we tend to see that as a strong indicator that a release is not a finished final product, especially for a digital-only release. Band remains blacklisted for now, assuming they haven’t released anything new since June.
