Apparently not.

Also there is definitely no need to bump things in here. When there's nothing to be found, reminding us of the fact that we currently can't find anything on the band...doesn't really speed things up.

According to Discogs, released one single in 1979. The song available online, "People", sounds similar to Bang and Blast. In search of the A side, "Hard Times". Thanks!

Any update on this one? Been a little over a month so I'm bumping it.

Recently sent message to the dude, who uploaded the B side on YouTube. Patience, please.

My bad. I seldom use this thread so I assumed the same rules apply as for band appeals.

Sadly, this thread moves much slower due to the obscure nature of most bands brought up here.
Some bands that were posted in 2015 or something are still waiting for the final bits of info :(

Needs research. - Absolute (United States, Metalcore)

From Diamond, Missouri. Last recorded activity was in late 2007. They released 2 CDs during their time in a metalcore style apparently, but I could only find half a song in their BandMix page so I'm not entirely sure if it's worth digging into as it could be not metal.

11:34 (CD, 10/11/2003)
1. Displacement
2. 11:34
3. Collapse
4. Terminal
5. Summa Theologica
6. Neurosis

Inventing Armageddon (CD, 11/9/2006)

Time has washed away most of what was known about most of these bands and their members have also forgotten much of their time with those bands. Sadly, some of the bands in this list will never be fully uncovered as to add them to the archives.

I haven't had any time to research bands as I was doing previously, it's a lengthy process and I'm just studying most of my day and spend my free time listening to music and chatting with friends. Whenever I have some free time I might get back to researching bands and I hope we can get enough info to remove some bands from that list.

Oh well I just edited one of my previous messages by mistake and now it's just info about a band. Nothing of value was lost though.

Needs research. - Afrayed (United States)

From Wilton, Alabama. Active during the early 2000s. I couldn't find any samples of their music, and this is a bold statement, but based on their logo and album covers, their certainly looked like a death metal or metalcore band. Last known activity by the band was in 2004.

False Reality (14/11/2001)
1. Nothing
2. Are you Afrayed
3. Like You

Cross Your Heart (23/02/2002)
1. Believer
2. Anathema
3. Voices in My Head
4. Never Again

Atrocity (26/05/2002, not released)
1. Poison (Extended Mix)
2. Nothing to Say
3. Winds of Fate

Exposing the Vain (28/05/2004, possibly not released)
Tracklist unknown

All these songs were uploaded to their homepage which is now defunct. There are some archives of it but the files are forever lost now.

Needs research. - AfterImage (United States, Symphonic Metal/Rock)

Symphonic metal/rock band from Boise, Idaho. Must have formed during the late 90s, they last recorded activity was around 2005. They seemingly recorded a 3-track demo which they released in early 2001. I couldn't find any samples of their music but the band claimed they played "melodic, symphonic metal/rock". Apparently they were signed to a label called "Firestorm Records".

AfterImage (Demo, CD, 01/08/2001)
1. F Sharp
2. Reach
3. Running

Cover art:
Spoiler: show
Image

These songs were once available on their Angelfire-hosted homepage, but they're all gone now.

Last known lineup:
- Matt Poz (Bass)
- Al Cuevas (Drums, Percussion)
- Ben Elliott (Guitars, Vocals)
- Barret Waggoner (Keyboards, Lead vocals)

Links:

- Local Band Network
- Official site @ archive.org (Looks like a total mess)

Email: [email protected] (Obviously dead but whatever)

EDIT (15/07/2022): Did more digging into their website and found they referred to themselves as a "Progressive Rock" band, and that they were compared with Rush, Queensryche, Iron Maiden, Kansas and Styx. They were probably not metal, but they did refer to themselves as "Symphonic Metal" previous to this.

Great! This sounds like acceptable groove/metalcore. I've been trying to find any of the band's members on Facebook but I haven't been lucky so far. Maybe someone else can find them, as I don't think there's any proof of the CD's existence anywhere online at this point.

Needs research. - Aggressive Culture (United States)

From Boston, Massachusetts. They seem to have played "Metal/Hardcore" so it could be basically any genre. They recorded and released a 6-song EP. Last registered activity was in August, 2004.

Seems like that there really was a 6-track EP and the band is actually from Worcester, not Boston directly.

I also contacted the band's "management" which is a film studio these days. Let's see what they got to offer.

So. Haven't found anything on this band, really, so both samples and proof for VR is needed.
I contacte the band Hive (Kiefer Murphy joined them 2018) and he at least told me that Ted Bundy is active again, but he never answered any of my questions.
(yes they are blacklisted, but only because they got submitted over and over without any proof)

I contacte the band Hive (Kiefer Murphy joined them 2018) and he at least told me that Ted Bundy is active again, but he never answered any of my questions.
(yes they are blacklisted, but only because they got submitted over and over without any proof)

Message sent to Hive, where Kiefer Murphy is actually.

Needs research. - MetalMania
Genre: Thrash Metal?
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada (USA) / Eldorado, Sinaloa (Mexico)
Members: Hector Moreno -> https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... eno/554080

Claim to have released a demo that was distributed locally.
Contacted Hector's current band, but they never responded. They seem inactive anyway? I dunno.

Needs samples and proof for VR. Not much to go on here, really.

Added. - Destrossus
Spoiler: show
Genre: Thrash/Death Metal?
Location: São Paulo, Brazil
Members:
Mário (Bass, Vocals, Guitars); Walmir "Sfolador" (Drums); Milton (Guitars); Gordo (Bass)

It's unlikely that this is the same band as Destróçus.

Known release:
Endless Misery (rehearsal demo tape 1988)
Tracklist:
1. Crucial Decaptation
2. Angels of Destruction
3. Diabolic Hate
4. Nuclear Attack
5. Suicide Fanatism
6. Satanic Legions

Seems like there was a biography of the band posted somewhere on facebook (link is dead now) and the original submitter was asked to bring the band up in here (which he never did), so here I am.

Biography:
"Band from São Paulo formed at the beginning of 87 by Walmir (drummer) and Mário (guitars and vocals), and soon recruited Gordo for the bass. With this lineup the band didn't perform and six months later Gordo left the band, which undergoes radical changes with the entrance of Milton to the guitars, and Mário, despite continuing with vocals, takes over the bass.
One of the biggest problems faced by the band was sound equipment, although they rehearsed a lot.
The band's lyrics talk about the controversial ideology of the church and the problems of society (hunger, violence, etc.).
The main influences of the band are: Celtic Frost, Bathory, Death, Mutilator, Dorsal Atlântica, Genocídio.
The band has already recorded a good quality demo rehearsal* and get ready to record another demo (now in studio)."

Hello PaganiusI,

First of all, thank you for bringing Destroussus here. Only now that I saw your quote.
Well, I could name a number of things that made me give up on bringing bands that I tried to submit to these kinds of topics, but I just say that I may have expressed myself badly (please excuse my poor English) and maybe for that reason you asked about more information besides the release, and also for not knowing and having obtained more information about the band so far, except the release that I had posted here.
I don't know if that can help, but recently I was talking to some people here about the difficulties that Brazilian bands were going through in the 80's, and how difficult it was for you to have more professional material (so to speak), with covers and everything more (this was more common when the band got support from a label or some store for distribution), and for that reason many bands sent releases to fanzines in order to promote the band (even why, sending releases would be cheaper than send tapes), and many of these demos were distributed on dubbed tapes by the band itself through these contacts through the bands-releases, which makes it difficult to know the exact number of demos that were distributed. In fact, I was thinking about creating a topic about it, more detailed, with some very similar cases, and trying to bring a different panorama about the importance of releases and fanzines to demonstrate the veracity of a certain band (more than many think) , but I confess that I really got discouraged from bringing him here, in the face of a lot. But, returning to Destrossus ... This release was made by the band itself, with the type logo (unfortunately there were no photos of the band), and it had a lot of information (like the translation I did and you posted here), but unfortunately it is everything I got at the moment. And for this reason I believe that the band isn't fake and also not the same as Destroçus, because besides they are from different places and have slightly different proposals, I have seen the demo "Endless Misery" listed in some lists of tape traders years ago.
I apologize for going out of focus a little bit (as it somehow has to do with the "theme", so to speak) and thanks again for bringing the band here.

Needs research. - ZE:US
Genre: Power/Prog/Industrial Metal?
Location: Germany
Known members: Tommy Smids - bass, keys, vocals; Dave Mancino - guitar; Rene Czyrka - vocals; Tobe Streim - drums, loop, vocals

Previously known as Q-Squad.
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Q-Squad/24433

Released the demo "On Every Hour" in 2000, both on CD and digitally on their homepage.
1. On Every Hour
2. Welcome
3. SOS
4. Solitude
5. The Lizard's Tongue
https://web.archive.org/web/20010202082 ... index2.htm

The bands sound was described as a mix of Power Metal, Waltari, Krupps and Rage Against the Machine in this review for a promo CD that has way more songs than that demo.
http://www.durp.com/reviews/2000/z/zeus/promo1999.htm

Reviews of the demo:

https://vampster.com/cd-reviews/zeus-on ... roduktion/

Homepage:
https://web.archive.org/web/20001204172 ... .ze-us.de/

Contacted Red Circuit (Tommy's current band), but they didn't respond yet...
They are present on a RockHard sampler with the track "Welcome" which sounds...borderline, but possibly okay. Needs more samples though.

ZE:US was formed in 1997 and split-up in 2001 for the loss of their guitarist. Tobe is also talking about a release that was produced by Markus Teske that sadly was never released. Which will be that release ? On Every Hour? Because Tobe is also talking about only one song from ZE:US that did reach the masses, but Tobe at no time mentions any of the demos released by ZE:US in 1999 and 2000:

He's talking about an album that was never released.
This however was a demo spread sometime before that, and sometimes bands don't consider them "released", because "released" means "by a label" to them.
Gets backed up by his other note, stating that only one song reached the masses, because it was featured on a "big" compilation.

Hey PaganiusI, I got the picture of the CD:

https://i.paste.pics/937PC.png

The band was formed in 2010 as Kemper but a week later, the band quickly changed the name to Ted Bundy.

I got the covert art in HD also in 279kbs:
