Quote:
Historical context: You're about to listen to unreleased single by obscure metal band
estabolished around 1988 in Bratislava by musicians whose previously performed in Ružomberok-based-bands Omikron and Kix. They managed to release one short demo tape and also recorded this single at Opus studios in Bratislava. The band broke-up only in 1989 when Chodelka and Šándor joined legendary Citron. We are glad we were finally able to publish this presumably lost material for evybody to hear, so excuse please reduced sound quality.

The artwork used in the video does also look rather modern to me. So, I'd trust them if they say the single was never released.
On the other hand, they mention the release of a demo tape in 1988, so I'd focus on finding that.
This channel has songs from it, maybe all of the songs:
https://www.youtube.com/user/metlaband/videos
It's the youtube page of this band: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Metla/103549

Lacks proof of VR though.

From Graz, Styria. I have scans of what looks like a self-titled tape (or could actually be two), but no tracklist or samples. Members were also in bands called Abscess of Society and Sorrow and their music is "described" as difficult to classify, although apparently they started out as a thrash band. Paradise Lost, Prong and Danzig are cited as favourite artists common to all three members. Some more stuff about depressive lyrics and atmosphere, so might be some kind of gothic metal.

This could be their drummer (called Andi in a promo text), related to frontman Michael "Michi" Markaritzer.

There's also a promo tape called "Sperrt die Augen auf" from 1996.
Tracklist:
1 Open Your Eyes
2 Loss of Will
3 Sehnsucht
https://www.facebook.com/mm.andikrammer ... 0564116064

And a rehearsal tape from 1994:
Tracklist:
1 To Fall
2 Reaching for...
3 Smashed
https://www.facebook.com/mm.andikrammer ... 9117449542

And whatever this may be:

Regarding Godhead: The band was already posted some time ago by Joe ¨Cubbie, so we have a duplicate entry here:
viewtopic.php?p=2922403#p2922403
On a side note, I have listened to the song and it sdoesn't sound like stoner/doom metal to me at all, just like stoner/hard rock. LeLess heavy than Monster Magnet, basically no agggressive Sabbath style riffs here. Perhaps it wold be ggood, if Paganiusi could listen to it too, even if the other songs on the tape may sound different.

I'd also appreciate it if you could check if the bands you bring up are already listed for research here.
We got a search tool in the forums and all bands under investigation are listed in the first post of this thread.
I'd prefer the search though, since bands that are dealt with get deleted from the list.
I just marked two recent posts of yours red because the bands are already listed in this topic.

Quite rock-based indeed, some Stoner/Psych thing with doomy bits maybe. It's listed as partly doom metal on multiple sites, so I think it's fair to keep looking for the other songs

No release. - MalkutH
Spoiler: show
Location: Messina, Sicily, Italy
Genre: Black Metal
The band released a demo in 1996 called "... of Evil ..."
I need a proof of valid release for the demo.

UPDATE: Nothing was ever released. The band recorded some demo tracks in 1996 and planned to release them as "...and Evil...", but this never happened. There were neither CDs nor tape nor anything else given out to people, just a few tracks on that myspace page.
-> the band doesn't have a release. Sorry.

Added. - Love Child
Spoiler: show
Location: Karlskoga, Örebro, Sweden
Genre: Melodic Heavy Metal (?)/Hard Rock

According to the FWOSHM, the band released two demos in 1993. They're labeled as "melodic hard rock", though the one song I found sounds like melodic heavy metal/hard rock in the vein of Dokken. Ironically, the members would go on to join the recently accepted Dokken clone band, Seven Wishes. If anyone can find any other samples, it'd be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks Witcher! Upon further research, it turns out Seven Wishes is Love Child under a different name. I was able to find audio for one other song which is most definitely metal. However, I don't know if two songs off a 12 song full length is enough to cut it.

The live video, which I have posted, is from 1994, so it certainly does feature some more songs form the debut album. I think, that this, together with tthe two studio songs, could be enough to prove their metalness. The style is pretty much the samsame as that of Sven Wiches. As somebody on the Heavy Harmonies forum said, like a heavier Dokken or a more commercialized Sword:

Contacted the guy who runs the studio where this was recorded.
That demo was recorded 11-11-91 and the guy still has the master tape.
But he neither wants to digitize it nor send the songs to anyone who's not a band member due to legal reasons mostly.
He also wasn't able to provide a contact, sadly.
