Their screams sound like demons speaking to you, absolutely insane, just like an infernal summoning of purest hell.
who could be the best one fitting to this description?

Check out the vocals on Grafvitnir's album "Obeisance to a witch moon" - they come close to what you're asking for, really caustic and hellacious.

I remember the first time I heard None So Vile and Lord Worm's bugfuck insano vocals came out of my speakers. I sat there for several seconds, not even paying attention to the instruments, thinking "what the fuck did I get myself into", as if I would get in trouble for listening to music that, at the time, stroke me as performed by severely deranged people  After some more spins I finally got into the record and learned to vibe with the, at first, seemingly impenetrable wall of violence.

It's one of my favourite death metal records nowadays, but boy, it shakes the soul out of you if you're a first timer.

Jamie Hooper of 3 Inches of Blood. Sadly, his crazy vocal style led to some health problems (polyps) which made him quit the band.

How is that cringe?

Calling something cringe is such a lazy throwaway insult to signal your superiority. As if you're too cool to engage on their level. Everyone else in the thread knew exactly was was meant and gave recommendations.

You'll have to excuse TheLoneForest, it's kinda his day job to be a big, wet blanket about absolutely any posts he's so much as mildly miffed by.

The first Poison demo- the German Poison obviously- has some of the most truely unhinged vocals I have ever heard. The later demos were more conventional blackened death metal, but the first garage-level recordings were pretty insane. The band could barely play back then, so I'm sure it was more accidental that they sounded like that.

Then there is Embilulgulal- a band whose name I can never manage to spell right.

Top that, I dare ya.

I enjoyed that Katharsis track, but the vocals aren't really that different from any number of black and/or death metal bands to my ears. I was more tripping on the guitar sound and overall old-school production values, than the vocals.

After some hesitation to embrace this shocking truth, I have officially decided that Sargent Salsten is the pinnacle of extreme metal vocals. He fits the description and then some. One of my favorite songs of the past decade:

The dude from Dodecahedron (who recently died, sadly) wins.

NSK from Teitanblood perhaps?

Not really a Marduk fan, but Mortuus I think is fitting for a spot on the list at least

Thanks for posting this! Didn't know the band, but love how they put everything good about early (black-)thrash metal into one, indeed, bestial melting pot. This dude (and band) truly sound that they mean this shit, like with Paul Baloff-esque "conviction". And to me that's way more important than originality.

As for the thread, i'd like to reccommend Mark of the Devil from Cultes des Ghoules. This is my favourite song from their killer album Henbane. Love the part half way through the song where he goes screaming / howling for like two minutes. Evil and bestial as it gets.

If anyone can tell me the easiest way to upload a sample of my own hysterical vocal style from back in 2000, please let me know. I don't want to become a member of youtube, so I hope there's a non-registration option.

I reckon demons might have quite sweet and seductive voices. Maybe like a young dame Helen Mirren
