Mississippi Fever is blues, but the 1992 tape could likely be a metal release. "In 1990, he was awarded 2nd place in the "Best Bassist in Los Angeles" contest sponsored by The Bass Center and hard rock radio station KNAC. In 1992, he released a solo cassette, which highlighted his command of the bass. Both events resulted in Ted having been featured in Bass Player, Guitar for the Practicing Musician, Burrrn (Japan), Guitar World and Screamer." I wonder if any of those magazines have write-ups on the tape?

Regarding Psychotic: I am currently trying to whitelist the progressive metal band Aeons Pass, a solo project by guitarist Axel YJJüngst, He says in a 2016 interview, that he had finally found his own sound after 24 years as a musicians and thought he currently live in Niederschsen, he has in his Facebook links to places and organisations near marburg, Hesse, so he could very well be that Psychotic guitarist:

That's awesome information, Witcher. I'll probably set up a Facebook account soon to try to get in contact with a couple of these people this way. Just to mention it again, anyone who can do enough detective work on the bands that I enter in here to submit them, go for it. Not worried about taking credit for being the one to add them, just trying to help get bands added that fit the criteria.

I found a song from the demo on Youtube:

The uploader claims that it's his band too, so it could be worth contacting him for the rest of the songs. He hasn't uploaded in 5 years, however.

There is also someone who owns this on Discogs, so I (or someone else) can ask him to send a rip of the demo.

Thanks Ninten, good find. Looks like that logo was deceiving, as this is basically funk rock with a tiny bit of metal in the mix. We can cross this one off the list as far as I'm concerned. Definitely appreciate you looking into it, though.

Thanks. I mean I could try to find the rest of the demo just to make sure the whole thing sounds like that song but I guess it's safe to assume it does? Idk.

Regarding Death, Rape & Pillage: It looks as tthe guest percussion player on their demo tom curiano has become a respectable player, he nowaday plays with Poppa Chubby. Here's some info and a link to Poppa Chubby's site is included in it:

Mississippi Fever is blues, but the 1992 tape could likely be a metal release. "In 1990, he was awarded 2nd place in the "Best Bassist in Los Angeles" contest sponsored by The Bass Center and hard rock radio station KNAC. In 1992, he released a solo cassette, which highlighted his command of the bass. Both events resulted in Ted having been featured in Bass Player, Guitar for the Practicing Musician, Burrrn (Japan), Guitar World and Screamer." I wonder if any of those magazines have write-ups on the tape?
