Hi again,

It seems that this band has been brought up before, but I wasn't seeing any mention of specific albums so I thought I'd link a few. I am not familiar with this band, but I happened upon them earlier today and thought it wouldn't hurt to bring them up. These sounded the riffiest to me even though there are some soft parts.

Monument:
https://open.spotify.com/album/2ZWWEkm0 ... _687dqp73Q

V:
https://open.spotify.com/album/0rYN3gN9 ... UB9UxisjjQ

Thanks!

Well, technically Monument was addressed here: viewtopic.php?p=1854972#p1854972 (although I don't think Zodi was yet a moderator at the time)

I just listened to a bit of V and doesn't seem radically different, but perhaps someone better versed in them can comment.

Oh, these guys. I listened to some of their stuff before, this album in particular. https://youtu.be/SAjUqWTEwHs
From what I've heard they pretty much fall into the same category as Angel Vivaldi, Plini, Sithu Aye, Polyphia, etc. When I was trying to get into that "modern prog" thing they were amongst the bands I checked. I personally think they don't belong here, but if someone from the staff thinks differently that's fine with me.

How generous of you. Too bad no one asked for your opinion

Dammit, I knew I forgot something and that is to add the part that it is my opinion is irrelevant. I always add it, but this time I somehow managed to forget it. Seems that I'm not prone to sloppiness myself in the end of the day. I know that opinions here are just used to point out the album that would be predominantly metal for assessment, so apologies for being a sloppy ass. As of now I don't have a predominantly metal album from this band. But if I manage to find an album from this band that I think could be predominantly metal, I'll be sure to bring it up here.

Since your opinion is irrelevant, why bother posting it in the first place?
Despite the rules of this subforum explicitly stating that one should not join appeals just to dump one's opinion in there?

Great band, guitar-intensive prog, but I wouldn't call them predominantly metal based on any album of theirs.
