What's the reason for black-listing Elderwinter from Russia? Don't know much about their previous releases, but the new EP sounds like traditional black metal to me:

Elderwinter, black metal band from Chernykhovsk, Russia was previously blacklisted (seems for "plagiarism") - and I contacted Feanor, the project's main member, and he described the situation - on his early demo "All Roads Lead to Darkness" he used some elements of the riffs from other bands (Emperor, Darkthrone and Burzum) - but the songs were original in composition and borrowed only some riffs - and only on some songs.

Anyway Feanor says he is regretting doing that because he was immature and just started playing music then - but except this release (which is anyway not fully "plagiarized" - just more like borrowed some riffs) Elderwinter doing fully original music - and especially it can be heard on the latest EP "Under the Influence of Necromancy":

But, as I wrote above, Feanor, the band's main members, described the situation (it was not fully plagiarized but just used some riffs/inspired by for some songs only on one demo "All Roads Lead to Darkness") - and anyway (and I think it's really important) he says he is regretting doing this with this demo (by his own words he was "immature and stupid") - and after this Elderwinter released all original stuff.

So I think we need to mention the info from above for "All Roads Lead to Darkness" - and anyway all other releases are completely original - and if you ask me are real good quality for a black metal project.

So regarding all info I think it will be fair to add the Elderwinter to the database.
