The Agathocles split and Purgatoria split are on YouTube but it is not clear enough from these samples if the band is metal enough.

Looking for the Suppository split and the Sawn Off Cock Gun tape for more samples.

I've downloaded their side of the Suppository split. I'm going to submit them, it's pretty standard death/grind.

Here are a list of obscure metal bands from Colorado Springs, Colorado, US from the late '80s/early '90s that someone from the band Havok (not the 2000s band, but the one active from '88-'92) recently told me about. Trying to find out who played in the bands and whether or not anything was released.

Added. - Psychonaut
Spoiler: show
- have logo, band photo (both look awesome). Played a gig with Havok and Sadistic Intent (Colorado Springs) in June 1990.

Needs research. - The Unknown
- logo: https://imgur.com/a/PFcUppk
Played with Anathema, Havok (late '80s/early '90s)
(April 23, 2023): There is also a California band from the early '90s (listed in Bay Area, California research section) called The Unknown or Unknown that I'm looking for more info on.
Here is a tape by a band called The Unknown, but no information is known. It may be one of these two bands, or another band with this name that is of interest for the site: https://imgur.com/a/KqMxl6G

Needs research. - Sadistic Intent (Colorado Springs)
- played a show with Havok and Psychonaut in Colorado Springs, June 1990
member: https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... ale/159540 (sent FB message)

Needs research. - Nicodemus
- known band member: Sean Tafoya (was also in Mystic Synn, Bonefarm, Powerslave 2000 (Iron Maiden tribute band)). Played a gig with Sinister Creed, Animosity, Sleepy Hollow, Havok, Jokerz Wyld late '80s/early '90s

Needs research. - Anxiety
- logo: https://imgur.com/x97PhM9
played a gig with Havok, Salem Spade, Jokerz Wyld in 1989
- one of their shirts advertised for sale in 1989 "The Pit" #4 'zine:
https://imgur.com/VA5BIDP
Needs research. - The Grim
(from the same shirt advertisement page in the above link under Anxiety. Looks pretty cool/metal - maybe they did a demo as well. 95% sure it's local to Colorado, like the 'zine and most of its contents.

Added. - Alpheratz
Spoiler: show
Location: Morelia, Mexico
Genre: Symphonic Black Metal/Ambient

The band previously released an ambient album but now they have a new album that is available on CD. https://www.facebook.com/infinito.enven ... =3&theater
However, there are no digital samples from the album. So the samples from the new album in form of download or streaming are needed for evaluation in the appeals thread.

A compilation, "The Storm Has Begun" (1995, Storm Records, CD/Tape) contains metal bands from Malta. 4 of them aren't yet on the site. One has a tape release but needs audio, 2 have audio found and are confirmed to be metal bands that could be added if they had a release, and looking for audio and a possible release from Trial by Fate.
Discogs link of compilation: https://www.discogs.com/Various-The-Sto ... se/6103220

Added. - Trial by Fate
Spoiler: show
Location: Malta
- Contributed the song "Once Upon a Time" to "The Storm Has Begun" compilation (1995)
- Discogs also lists a one-song promo tape without an image, "Glory" (1992)
Band members: Gavin Borg (guitars, vocals - was/is also in The Vagabond Project), Konrad Borg (bass), Malcolm Borg (guitars), Gianfranco Stellini (drums)
- have since heard the compilation track, and they play really good metal. Emailed guitarist/vocalist Gavin to ask about releases.

Added. - Masada
Spoiler: show
Location: Malta
- Contributed the song "Redemption" to "The Storm Has Begun" compilation (1995)
Discography: "Untrodden" demo tape (1995 - https://www.discogs.com/Masada-Untrodde ... 97202)
(just need audio sample)

Needs research. - Orbus Vitae

- Contributed the song "Lament of the Disturbed" to "The Storm Has Begun" compilation (1995)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqeg7vMqYDo
Band photo: https://imgur.com/69zbpvR

Added. - Fair Warning
Spoiler: show
Location: Germany (not to be confused with a '90s Hanover band with the same name)
Band members: Hannes Holzmann (guitar - https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... 32221), Holmer Graap (drums), Michael Schmitt (bass - https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... 32207), Petros Roudeniklis (keyboard), Stefan Donatin (vocals)
Discography: "True Lovers" 7" (1987) - listed on Discogs as 'hard rock' and based on the album name that's what I'd assume, but a description at the Corroseum described their only 2 recorded songs: one a midpaced metallic song with a slightly epic touch, and the other "delivering the full power," fastpaced with melodic NWOBHM touch, comparable to Virtue.
Michael Schmitt is currently playing in the thrash metal band Justice, and was briefly in Paradox. Hannes was also in Justice for a short time in the early/mid '90s.

- Have inquired about purchasing the tape from a distro in the US that looks to have it in stock in order to get the audio for Trial By Fate and Masada's tracks.

Let me know if that doesn't work out. There's an Austrian seller for the CD version on Discogs, so I can snag that one if needed.

I found "I Will Shout", but it's borderline rock. More samples needed, definitely.

Most likely Chicago, Illinois, US Abomination with a mistake on location in the 'zine. - Abomination
Spoiler: show
Genre: Thrash/Speed Metal
Location: England, UK
Band members: unknown
Discography: Demo 1988 (6 songs)
- Had added this band fairly recently based on a review in The Book of Armageddon #4 'zine, but got to thinking that the description of it is very similar to that of the US band's 1988 6-song demo, which was being reviewed in a lot of zines at the time. Have noticed other errors in this particular publication, and there isn't enough information to back up that this is for certain a different band than the one from Chicago - too likely that it could have been a misprint in location, so am adding it here. Described as above-average thrash relying somewhat on speed, with drumming that stands out.

- Can't recall where the information about this band/demo originally came from (possibly an interview), but I added it as an unlisted band to both of their artist pages a while ago. They both played in other good metal bands. If more details can be found out, they're likely a band that could be added. I'll see if either of them are on Facebook and send a message if so.
- Sent a message to Mike. Heard back with some more details about their music, release.

Added. - Blutrein
Spoiler: show
Country: Germany
Genre: Crossover/Metalcore?

Not much information that I could find on this one, but apparently they are a band from Germany that has released one album. I heard a song from this and it sounded promising, but I have not been able to locate a download or stream for the album.

Here is the song:

Regarding Highway Call: This is most likely the Yoshi Toscani , who was in the band. There is not so much people with such unusual name being active n Germany and he made photos for diverse German music groups and projects, including album cover photos:
