Just looking for some 70s/80s-style bands (doesn't really matter if they were/are actually in that era) that sing in different languages. Bands like Anthem, Angeles del Infierno, H-Bomb, Sortilege, Baron Rojo, etc. Just something awesome about discovering foreign bands that absolutely kick ass. Bonus points if they're from areas that aren't really known for their metal scenes, like the Middle East, or Africa (but French is ALWAYS welcome!).

Strana Officina's first self titled ep could be for you, very melodic 80's heavy metal sung all in italian.

Another one could be Randy Uchida Group's sole single Deathly Fighter: the titles of the two songs are in english but the lyrics are in Japanese except for few words

Pokolgep, Ossian, Kalapacs, Akela and Moby Dick from Hungary.

Trust from France.

Salario Minimo from Brazil.

Exoristoi, Dorieis and Magna Carta from Greece.

if you only listen to three of those, take the Pokolgep, Salario Minimo and Magna Carta debuts :)

There's the almighty Su ta Gar:

They sing in Basque

I really like this song by Banzai:

They sing in Spanish.

I love this song from this legendary heavy metal split:

Everyone in the former Yugoslavia knows this song, they've put out some good stuff

Less well-known but solid too

Earliest metal album from behind the Iron Curtain.

Yngwie Malmsteen was a huge Yngwie Malmsteen fan before he fired every singer he ever had and decided to do it on his own. He finally got to front his favourite band. Good for YJM.

I’m gonna recommend you the best heavy metal band from the Philippines that came out back in the 90s. Band is called Dahong Palay(meaning rice leaf, but name taken from a venomous snake with the same name). Pretty heavy style of traditional metal. Very good band.

Here’s their only album Kapatiran ng Bakal At Apoy(translates to ‘brotherhood of metal and fire’):

Here’s a great song of theirs(my personal favorite):

Hope you like it. Cheers!
