Needs research. - Aboardage
Location: Svishtov, Bulgaria
Genre: Death/Thrash Metal
Band members: Daniel Georgiev ( https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/D./632175 ) - vocals/guitar, Pavlin Stanchev - guitar, Hristo Sairov - bass, Bogomil Donchev ( https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... hev/677027 ) - drums
Discography: "God Bless" (March 1993)
- has been submitted a couple of times, but there isn't proof of release, yet. Listed as a cassette on Discogs, but they also use the unofficial artwork that was made for streaming it unofficially. The Discogs entry mentions that the original version didn't come with artwork. At least 2 of their members are still playing metal, in the bands Matubes and Епизод that are on the site - possibly could be asked through the contact of each band about the release status of Aboardage's recording.
YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SdBAT3Z_UQI
- a lot of extra information in a comment here (the person sounds knowledgeable on the subject, but information should be looked into further when retrieved at this source) -
Spoiler: show
The group was established in 1988 in Svishtov. The chosen style in this first period is a mixture of thrash, punk, heavy metal with lyrics entirely in Bulgarian. The first concert is at the local Chemistry School. Then there are performances in Svishtov, Ruse, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Sofia (Universiada-Rock Heping 1990).

The most memorable concert of the first wave is in the local chitalishte "Elenka and Kiril D.Avrami" (the so-called "Concert in the hole"), which is recorded unprofessionally on a video. After the concert, guitarist Daniel Georgiev goes to his native barracks, ending this period. After leaving the barracks, Daniel Georgiev and Pavlin Stanchev decided to revive the band and attract new members. The songs from the second wave are entirely in English in the style of thrash / death metal. In March 1993, they entered Graffiti studio to record the new material. A lot of appearances started at the local level, as well as in Rousse, Veliko Tarnovo, Gorna Oryahovitsa, Razgrad
.The Rock Fiesta in Razgrad won first prize for a big race. In 1995 they made new demo tapes at the garage level. In the period 1998-1999, the ABOARDAGE musicians created a side project under the name T.N.T. The project includes Kalin Krumov - vocal, bass; the two guitarists Pavlin and Daniel; drummer Bogomil and keyboardist Atanas Ibrisimov.

I don't think this one is worth pursuing. Two tracks from the demo on this sampler: https://tapeattack.blogspot.com/2021/11 ... vol-3.html Sounds like hardcore.

A list of bands from Cuba that NWOBHM and Cuban metal guru Zygmunt suggested looking into, that are possibly related to Cuba bands Trendkill, Cancerboro, From the Graves, and/or Parasomnia:

Krudenta
DNA
Okulary
Crucified
Thelema
Scrah
Darkness and Blizz
Saxum
Lost Creation
Peldano
Deformity

I probably won't be on here much for the next couple of days. Hope you all have a great holiday. It's been a good collaborative effort in getting a lot of obscure bands from this thread onto the site this year.

Needs research. - Unholy Inquisition
Genre: Black Metal

Band members: Alexander Gutmann (vocals, guitars), Andrés Hdez. (guitars, bass), David (bass, drums). See the modification history: https://www.metal-archives.com/users/MorgothOrkz

Discography: DCLXVI (format and year unknown, presumably from 2014 or earlier)

The band was founded in 2010 and it appears like they've released that DCLXVI work. I wasn't able to find any information regarding the band and the release, but it doesn't look like it's nowhere to be found.

They have 1 songs on Venerock Compilation LP (1982):
https://thecorroseum.org/comps/venerock.php
Available here:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAV7GXE2kIw
According to a comment at discogs:
https://www.discogs.com/release/3738817 ... s-Venerock
"This compilation was done from tapes sent by the bands so the label did not produced any of the recordings."
So it's likely a demo tape exists.

An additional source with sound files:
https://www.reverbnation.com/drjekyll

I still miss a proof of existence for a distributed demo tape.

Not tobe confused with the heavy metl band Lucifer, which is already in the database, or the gothic/alternative rock visual kei band Lucifer.
This lucifer released some demos in 1997 and 1998 and appaered on the the omnibus Visual Club Visual Vol.1 in 1998 with the song Reglet Cryin'.

Needs research. - Hippies Sadisticos
Location: Germany
Genre: Black Metal/Noise?

Know members:
https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Troll/57291

Known releases:
https://www.discogs.com/release/1191557 ... appy-Tapes

Listed for sale here:
https://thecorroseum.org/forum/viewtopi ... fb#p161716

Lacks samples.
Also might not hurt to get some more info on how it was distributed. The original submitter runs a label, so that might be why the tape was sent to him.
The tape inlay literally is an old medical receipt, so it could just be a makeshift promo to get label attention or something.

Needs research. - Indiana, US bands 1980-1994
A page with flyers from Indiana gigs, mostly metal, from 1980-1994. Plenty of obscure logos here that could be looked into: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id ... &sk=photos

Needs research. - Kaspar Hauser (Каспар Хаузер)
Location: Ulan-Ude, Russia
Genre: Thrash Metal
Active in the early-to-mid '90s. Here's a YouTube video for one of their songs, from 1994, "Девять Недель" (translation: "Nine Weeks") - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9AyfawHY-U

Needs research. - Morbidness
Location: Volgograd, Russia
Genre: Thrash Metal
Band members: Dima - vocals, Nikitos - rhythm guitar, Kir - lead guitar, Arkady - drums, Rudolf - bass.
- as it states in the YouTube video description, 2 1992 demo songs: "Celebration of Death" and "Unacquaintance in Mirror" were taped from the uploader's penpal. It's unclear whether or not this is the complete demo, or if it was released. Pretty good stuff that brings to mind early Sepultura, hindered a bit by the sound quality.

Needs research. - Lethal Heathen

Band members: Jerry Sofran ( https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... ran/354513 ), Terry Nugent ( https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... ent/444960 )
- They recorded a demo in the mid-'80s, which (info from a Facebook response) was self-released on CD along with live tracks from 1984. Didn't get a year or track listing of the re-release, but probably during their reunion. Seeking samples of their original songs from that CD. Mostly saw cover songs on their FB page.

Some "almost acceptable" bands I've come along the last two years:

It is stated they sold CDs and cassettes.

Demo: Eternal darkness (1999)

04 The Angels Cry Too
05 Osiris
06 Pupils of Death

08 Black Tide

More samples needed, and ideally a second source to confirm physical release.

Needs research. - Seventh Dream

The album may include, among others, "Tu maldad", "Desterrado (or Desterrado en mis sueños)", "Condenada a morir", "Sin rumbo", "54-14-4-28" (Instrumental), "Devastación" and "Asesino".
