Needs research. - Mindscape
Location: Texas, US (demo recorded in Houston)
Genre: Groove Metal (?), Thrash (?), Grunge (?)
Band members: Travis Taylor (lead guitars), Russell Glover (rhythm guitars), Anders Johansson (bass). Also played on the tape, possibly just as session members: Jeff Taylor (drums, vocals), Doug Lowry (lead vocals, drums)
Discography: "Mindscape" demo (1994, cassette; track listing: Crush/ Mindscape/ THK/ Nevermind)

Needs research. - Swamp
Location: Eschenbach, Bavaria, Germany
Genre: Heavy Metal (?), Hard Rock (?)
Band members: Bob Meyer - Bass (1985-?), Jürgen Käck - Drums (1985-?), Stefan Kloha - Guitars (1985-?), Hubert Forster - Unknown (1985-?), Mark Huber - Vocals (1985-?)
Discography: Demo 1 (year unknown), Demo 2 "Take It for Granted" '88 (6 songs), Demo 3 "Black Mess" '90
There are some conflicting reviews about their sound. According to someone who owns "Take It for Granted", it is more of a hard rock/blues rock style:
https://tshirtslayer.com/tape-vinyl-cd- ... anted-demo
A write-up at The Corroseum: "mid-league, mid-tempo HM with AC/DC style vocals, that the Rock Hard Mag labeled as "straight, unpolished Accept Metal". Early 1990 the lads recorded another tape with the promising title "Black mass", produced by Inline Music. The 4 songs according to the band's own info offered "merciless Heavy Metal with sawing riffs", while the Demo was two-faced. The A-side features pretty hard hitting Heavy/Power Metal, while on the other side Swamp almost drifted away into glammy Metal." I think that they also had at least one review at The Underground Empire. There's enough doubt that it would be best to find samples to make the determination.

Needs research. - Damage Control
Location: Bremen, Germany
Genre: Crossover
Discography: Demo 1989
- info from The Corroseum: "trio from the local Bremen scene, that was actively playing live during 1989 and also released a Demo in early 1989, featuring an absurd sound spectrum of influences starting at Van Halen and ending at D.R.I."

GrimW, that's great. Hopefully they'll respond.

Needs research. - Reinterment
Location: Russia
Genre: Metal
Known song: "Sometimes They Return" (1997)
- they're the only band on vol. 5 of this metal compilation series that had nothing turn up with some web searches. Not a lot to go on, but maybe someone could work with this lead.

A few metal bands from the early '90s, most likely in or around Adelaide, South Australia , that were name-dropped and sound interesting. Discography unknown.
Needs research. - Basket Case (South Australia?)
Needs research. - Execration (South Australia?)
Needs research. - Hammad (South Australia?)

Primarily ambient/synth. - E.N.D.
Spoiler: show
(Evil Never Dies? - is one of their songs)
Location: Voronezh, Voronezh Oblast, Russia
Genre: Metal (?)
Recorded a 1995 demo called "The Christianic Trilogy". Not sure if it had a standalone release, but it's included on this split:
https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/A ... _1/1077385
- the whole demo (other than the listed outro) was also on this compilation - https://www.discogs.com/release/1006606 ... tape-Vol-3 . Discogs track listing is incorrect and leaves one of the song titles off, which can be seen in the photo.
Band's contact name was Alexander Silin ( https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... lin/742243 ?) Credits given on the Deadside 1 split are: Psychiatr (vocals), McKay (guitars), Paganini (guitars), Mr. Toper (keyboards)

Genre: Black Metal
Recorded at least one demo, "Trindade Negra" (2014, 7 songs)
Info and other links here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSjrAWj94a0
Not sure if they had an official release, and didn't look into it.

Needs research. - Incision
Location: Loncoche, Araucania, Chile
Genre: Death Metal
5-songs + intro very recently uploaded to YouTube, entitled "Incantacion" with artwork. Can't find anything else about them online. One to check back on later, most likely.

Needs research. - Hidden Truth
Location: Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
Band members: Jason Roller (Guitar) and Bill Munz (Guitar) and was completed by John Korpiel (Drums), John Raso ( Bass), and Shawn Callahan (Vocals).

Added. - Pyper
Spoiler: show
Location: Chicago, Illinois/Wisconsin, US
Genre: Described as thrash metal by a band member. Discogs lists it as garage rock, probably incorrectly.

Needs research. - Bly's Jinx
Location: Olympia, Washington, US
Genre: ? - Rusted Metal book described them as Thrash Metal, but the band members disagreed with the assessment. They later became Simple Ritual, which is hard rock with funk elements, so samples are needed and the Rusted Metal book's word can't be taken without being sure they were metal. They did play shows with a lot of metal bands in early '90s, but genre is unclear at the moment.
Band members: Tom Byrnes - Bass, Ryan Mungula - Drums, Joe Bean - Guitars, Eric Breding (a.k.a. Eric Scott) - Vocals (also in Kings, formerly Hellbelly)
Discography: Demo tape (year unknown)

Needs research. - Cadavorus
Location: Wisconsin, US
Genre: Death/Thrash Metal (?)
Band members: Unknown
Discography: Demo 1991. According to the artist's personal music timeline, https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Jef_Jaeger/85482 played session drums on and produced it. He's on Facebook and was still actively playing metal not long ago, so would be the best person to ask for more details. Obscure band, but there were a couple other references that I located:
http://bestial-warbeast.narod.ru/CD-Rs.htm - 1991 demo in a tradelist
https://journaltimes.com/news/local/ler ... bfe95.html - 1992 news article that mentions one of their gigs. Couldn't read the whole thing because I get a pop-up and it's requiring a subscription.

Formerly called "Schreckschuß"
There's an interview with them here:
http://eisenblatt.ostmetal.de/script/eisen_08.pdf (German)
They recorded one song and some rehearsal stuff, but split up before releasing a demo of any sorts.
The "pro" recodring is prolly this song:
https://www.myownmusic.de/ritera/play/?songid=409431

According to the band, the only thing they were giving out were stickers :-D

They re-united though and according to facebook they are rehearsing new songs, so maybe one day they'll release something:

Not metal. - Kawaii Guts
Spoiler: show
Location: Russia
Genre: Death Metal/Grindcore/Goregrind
Band members: Alin Veneris (All instruments), Vile (Vocals)

Hi guys,

I was looking back over my old submissions today and, while I originally considered this case to be closed, I realized that the guy behind this band gave me (possibly deliberately) false information regarding it. The guy claimed that the project never released anything when the reality was that I had already submitted them a couple of years ago based on an album that is no longer available on his bandcamp. With that being said, I thought it wouldn't hurt to drop this here to see if anyone can find information on the release of the album in the YouTube video. There is some more information in the appeal as well. I found a download for it a while back on a website that claimed that the album was released on a label called Animetal Studio, but I can't find the site anymore.

viewtopic.php?f=27&t=129680&p=3022731&hilit=kawaii+guts#p3022731
These are official uploads from Veneris' YouTube channel that also mention the album in the description:

Thanks!

It looks like you can purchase their 2021 demo digitally on Bandcamp, but only sample the first song. If that's the case, they should be fine to submit.

Saloma (Cuba) can be submitted. There's info there about the releases, and their music is metal.

Aventi article - https://www.madeinmetal.es/index.php/di ... tarme-2015
I can't look through it at the moment, but if between this and the links above there's enough to submit to the band queue, that would be great. Otherwise I'll add to the main list soon.

I submitted Saloma and will work on an Aventi one. This article has a (defunct) download link to the release.

If you want to listen to it because the link is defunt, it's all available here:
