This compilation of Spanish thrash metal demos (8 bands in total) contains 2 that aren't on the site yet:
https://www.discogs.com/release/2529213 ... shin-Spain
- maybe they were released on cassette, or have another release that could get them onto the site.
Needs research. - Mosh
- Demo '89
Needs research. - Bloody Souls
- Demo '89
Info here: https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Loki/123671
(more information is also in the 2 drafts of these bands that user Dudgeon made)

Needs research. - Overlord
Location: Italy
Genre: Heavy Metal (?)
Discography: Demo 1988 (cassette) https://imgur.com/7jxWfkh (from someone's Italian heavy metal demo collection)
- not to be confused with the pre-Hard Boiled Eggs band Overlord from Bassano del Grappa (Vicenza), Veneto, who are listed on the site (their first demo came out in '91).

I think I have a rip of this one in an old hard drive. I couldn't find any documental source about the existence of the band other than one citing its name, hence I've never tried to submit them. Tomorrow I'm going to search for it.

SMASHING HEAD is a band that existed for half a year. I think she rushed her debut by at least a year. Most of the tracks on the demo are ut-. monotonous and similar to each other. If 5 tracks were cut out of this average 15 songs, it would be a much more interesting position. Admittedly, there are also good riffs / eg "Clifford", "Skarp" or "Possessed by fire" /, and the guitarist extracts some sensible sounds from the instrument. What I don't like is his punk style of singing, which doesn't quite fit with the group's medium-fast thrash.
Still, it's a bit of a shame that S.H. they broke up. One more year of play and..

Foun it! The hard drive was corrupt and had to recover 150 GB using an undeleter.

It is a single 19 minutes file and I have no track titles. Charming thrashing guitars and Spanish lyrics. I can tell the band is from Spain because of the accent, but one of the songs is built upon the song "El rey" by Mexican singer Vicente Fernández (I wouldn't tell it's a cover). The last song is built around the Spanish version of Jingle Bells. Again, not a cover, buy maybe can be used to identify the demo, in case it surfaces a copy.

Do I submit the band refering to this post?

BlackFlag, sounds great. I'm looking forward to hearing it, and the other unknown bands on those CDs. It might be better for now to see if there is a mini-bio included in the CD booklet, as there might be more details about an original cassette release. A local friend of mine has ordered both that and the "Condenados al olvido IX" CD, so if no one else gets copies first I will check out all of those bios and the music, and add bands in the 'to be submitted' thread. I'll send you a PM about Mosh when I can find out more about them.

I'll try to get in touch with Nikodinovski, figure out the details behind this thing, and see if a separate page needs to be made.

Just spoke with Nikodinovski last night (he was helping Esoteric/Saturnus with the sound during their gig in Novi Sad), who confirmed that TLoM never released anything officially, confirming the demo was likely put online by a fan)

Needs research. - Anaconda
Location: Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
Members: Tom Dawson (bass, vocals) - https://www.facebook.com/thomas.dawson.1840
John Connors (drums) -
https://www.facebook.com/john.connors.338211
Photo: https://imgur.com/a/EeO9neQ
- according to information in the Rusted Metal book, they were a thrash metal band, and released a demo tape in 1991 or '92. Seeking audio since this book has been a little bit off on some genres. Have not yet tried to contact either member. Not to be confused with the other Anaconda from Canada that's on the site.

Added. - Rune
Spoiler: show
Location: Wichita, Kansas, US
Genre: Thrash Metal(?)
Band members: https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... hey/404039 (have sent a message on FB)
Randall Aviks - https://www.facebook.com/randall.aviks
Russ Edgecombe - https://www.facebook.com/russ.edgecombe.9
(there was one additional member in the original line-up, and eventually one or more changes to it took place)
- Recorded "Thrash to Kill" demo in 1987 (engineered by https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... lls/714642 , who also played session lead guitar on it). Uncertain if it was released or not.

Needs research. - Mercenary
- early band of Mike Wells ( https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... lls/714642 ), from Wichita, Kansas, US. Active in 1985 (maybe also before/after). Shelley Millspaugh was one of their members - https://www.facebook.com/shelley.millspaugh
Live photo: https://obituaries.neptunesociety.com/o ... s-10527771
- discography unknown

Needs research. - The Dark
- another early bands of Mike Wells ( https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... lls/714642 ), based out of Wichita, Kansas. Active in 1986 (maybe also before/after). Scott Duncan also played in this band - https://www.facebook.com/rscottduncan
Photo from 1986: https://obituaries.neptunesociety.com/o ... s-10527771
- discography unknown

Needs research. - Malicious Intent
Genre: Heavy/Power Metal
Location: US, state unknown. They had made these 5 demo songs from 1989 available for download a while ago:
https://archive.org/details/iuma-malici ... talker.mp3
- in description: "after over a decade, we've located some super-rare demo tracks from one of the last great late 80's metal bands- those unsung heroes Malicious Intent! These previously unreleased tracks showcase them at their raw best (or at their rawest!) Now available for the first time is Unvaliant Warrior, an awesome instrumental, and the notorious Challenge Me, a searing solo fest, which never made it to any Malicious Intent album. Not only that, we also have the much-rumored Night Stalker and There's No Use! All were recorded in 1989. More to come!"
Confirmed by band members from each that this isn't the Kansas or York, Pennsylvania bands with the same name. Could possibly be the California band on M.A., or the pre-Morbid Truth (California) band named Malicious Intent, though the page states that they formed in 1990 (possible the year could be slightly off and it could be these guys) - https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Mo ... 3540302678 . None of the song titles have matched up to a known M.I. yet. The band Aleister Wild has 2 of these songs in their discography (one on 1997 album, one on 2000 album), but their tracks have been compared side-to-side, so it doesn't seem to be an early incarnation of them. Within the description, "that never made it to any Malicious Intent album" implies that other recordings/releases exist.

Here you go, Paganius - didn't listen much, but it hasn't been sounding promising so far:
https://www.youtube.com/user/sonicmachi ... ?query=tmk

It's unfortunate that of the many ripping thrash musicians playing in the awesome style that the bay area had carved out for itself in the '80s/early '90s, most that were still active in the mid-'90s fell victim to the more watered-down, lazy, faceless groove-oriented or alt. rock direction the music industry had been taking (noticed that Paul Cowan - formerly of a good band, Hate, was involved here).

Grunge/rock. - Snowdrops
Spoiler: show
- another of christkiller's bare bones Italian band entries from 15 years ago that has only ever had the information '1 demo'. Likely the source of the entry, a list on this inactive website ( https://web.archive.org/web/20071209220 ... m/home.htm ) had referred to this band that doesn't seem to be metal:
https://www.discogs.com/artist/1961704-Snowdrops
Described as alternative/grunge/garage rock at various sources online, though haven't ruled out that at least one of their releases isn't metal. Audio needed, but fairly doubtful that they belong on the site.

Needs research. - Face Your Underground compilation series bands
- Belgian bands, mostly Death Metal. Just entered in vol. 11 on the site, and came across a couple of bands that could have been added had their demos been released in a way that is valid by the site's definition. At least 24 volumes of this series exist. Only some have been entered in on the site so far. Would probably be worth checking them for unlisted bands. Several, but not all can be found on Discogs:
https://www.discogs.com/label/1329677-F ... nderground
Shouldn't be too difficult to find the others somewhere online, since they're all relatively recent (the oldest one not listed there is from 2016)

So far, the first 6 and vol. 11 have been entered in. Volumes 1-5 haven't been checked for unlisted bands, though.

Thanks for that additional info. Do you happen to know if this is the Revolt vocalist? https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... rie/149503

I don't know for sure, but I assumed so, since its not a particularly common name and he's in the right place at the right time, and I doubt an established band like Bow Wow are going to take on someone without previous band experience. I do know the Tetsuya Horie in Bow Wow is still singing: he's vocalist of the long-running funk rock band Krush Groove, see bottom left here: http://www.pilania.com/kg/profile.html

BTW
The band that Raúl Algarín, José González "Scorpion" and Pedro Legrá (https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Peter_Legra/291972) played in was not called Zona Oscura (as it was written next to their names), but Zona Obscura, founded in January 1993 as Omega

Thanks for the research that sets the record straight, Antioch. Turns out it was worth looking into this further to have a few titles corrected and a photo of the release.

Thanks!

Yeah...that ain't gonna make it. Oh well.

Released a demo in 2013:
Incantations Of Death And Destruction
1 Prelude 1:28
2 Sacrificial Blood 2:59
3 Infernal Inquisition 2:30
4 Black Vomit Ritual 2:01
https://www.discogs.com/release/6583746 ... estruction

Used to be on Bandcamp, but not sure if it was for download or stream-only. The dude who added it to Discogs might have gotten it from satan-knows where.

Here's also a review:
https://occultblackmetalzine.blogspot.c ... h-and.html
And 1 song:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNKquexCVJo

Needs a little more context for the release and a few samples might not hurt given that kind of raw bedroom crap tends to be borderline when looking at a full release.

Needs research. - Cafrunes
Alohaa people, sooo, a band of a friend of mine (Cafrunes)l, was rejected because there is no valid proof to be added here, the only info avaiable is this album I putted for direct download containing the both versions.
My friend which is singer / rythmn guitarrist of the band, sent me all the songs and tracklist via whatsapp because they finally made a full record (just digital), I am very happy to see them doing this finally :P, I putted it free for download at MEGA. Sure, I got pictures of the band, an obviously is not a fake band, but as the rules stablished, this is not sufficient as a valid release, unfortunately.
So I decided to make a thread of the band here, maybe there is something new to add regarding the imput sooner or later.

He said he doesn't have any more copies. Not really sure if that's good enough for you guys as proof. I'll try to get a number out of him, but you know how it is.

That looks like a good amount of info on Pesadilla, if you'd like to submit it Zygmunt. Thanks a lot.
Grim, it seems like Tantrum could probably be submitted as well.

I'll put together a submission for Tantrum.

The Pyper CD came today, and it's heavy/thrash metal. Do you need me to rip and upload it for you, Spooky? It's very influenced by early 90s Megadeth (Think Countdown) with some 80s heavy/power metal thrown in, to my ears. I'll put together a submission for that one, as well.

Needs research. - Beggars Opera / Rival
Location: Bay Area, California, US
Genre: Metal (?) - there was a vague mention in a Snakepit Magazine article about Beggars Opera playing progressive metal. Having some slight doubts, though, and have yet to hear their music.
Beggars Opera members: https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... pton/28878 , Nic Thorne ( https://www.facebook.com/nicolasjohn.thorne , also played in Rival circa 1987), Ernie Alonzo (also played in Rival), Greg Stone (R.I.P.). Other members of Rival were Sam Eigen ( https://www.facebook.com/sam.eigen.14 ) and Phil McCall - one or both may have played in Beggars Opera also, but am not sure. Rival and Beggars Opera may or may not have been considered the same band with a name change.)
Logo/photo: https://imgur.com/a/E6DQagu
Discography: Beggars Opera "Back Street Groove" demo tape ( https://imgur.com/jXBK6BS ), and at least one other demo. Rival discography (if any), unknown.
