Location: Japan
Listed genre: Heavy Metal/Hard Rock
Band members: Kiryu (vocals), Yuichiro (guitars), George (bass), Kazuki (drums)
Discography: "Body and Soul" 2-song cassette (1992, Explosion Works)

Jane Crow were a continuation of 'Bad Boys' off the Harem House split apparently:

Don't know if their style changed though.

Release the 7'' single "Ezyrider / Running Undercover" in 1992.
Are listed has Hard Rock/Heavy Metal on musik-sammler.de, but described as "American-style Hard Rock" in Isten's guide to Finnish Metal (who aren't really in line with our definition of metalness, soo... maybe?)

Also listed on discogs in the most unhelpful/incomplete way, added by the Isten guy, it seems:
https://www.discogs.com/Aztek-Gods-Ezyr ... e/16188440

bought a copy.

Update: It's rock -> removed from the list.

Needs research. - Fear of Death
Location: listed as Slovakia
The YouTube video says that this is a 1985 demo and shows a cassette, but somehow it doesn't seem very believable. It is metal, though. Worth looking into a little bit more. If they're a modern band pretending to be from the mid-'80s, a digital release might be out there.

Needs research. - Hammersmith
Location: Erie, Pennsylvania, US
Genre: Heavy Metal
Band members: Darrin Hilinski (vocals), Ed Little (guitars), Chuck Hunter (bass), Chris Forsyth (drums - message sent. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100009338545532 ). Not on the video, but another member - Mark Poraczky ( https://www.facebook.com/poraczky ). None seem to be listed for other bands on the site.
- 7 quality traditional metal songs were performed on a local cable access show, "Erie Rocks", in the mid-'80s by this band. Titles are known for 3 of them: "Up the Irons", "Assassin", and "Clock Strikes 12". Wondering if they released a demo.
https://www.youtube.com/@ErieRocks/sear ... ammersmith
(They are still active. Mentioned working on a CD around 2013 in a few posts. Not sure if they are/were still playing metal then, since it's much later than the live footage.) https://www.facebook.com/Hammersmitherie (message sent)

G One, here is some more information about the band Imago Animi that you posted about, who were part of a compilation as you had mentioned.
https://www.discogs.com/artist/251814-Imago-Animi (2 releases: self-titled, and "Chained to the Past")
Bass – Mirko Biagi
Drums – Denis Turra
Guitar – Lorenzo Mistroni, Nicola Proni
Keyboards – Enrico Lorenzini ( http://www.artofficialband.com/enry/?lang=en )
Vocals – Enrico Campagna, second release includes a second vocalist as well, Loriana Bruni. None of these members appear to be listed on the site.
- a sale list that includes their second tape lists the band as black metal
- Discogs lists their style as Symphonic Metal, Progressive Metal, Black Metal, Death Metal

In case anyone is interested in picking it up, that '95 Slothead demo is back on eBay. Grim, I know that last time you won the auction and then the seller claimed not to be able to locate it. The starting bid on this one is $5 more than the last one ended at, and the auction close is on Saturday afternoon.

Genre: Doom Metal?
Location: USA

Might need a little more info, definitely needs samples.

A recording called "Dancing with Hate" from 1997 came up in a few results with a Google search. Added that bit to the Snow Storm bio, and am looking for further information/audio.

Needs research. - Eternal Death
Location: Athens, Attica, Greece
Genre: Death Metal (?)
Band member: contact name looks like G. Karidas or G. Karidasious II (see image below)
Discography: Demo (almost certainly cassette format)
- their track(s) "Intro / Bloody" are featured on the 1992 "Delictum Compilation Vol. I" and 1993 "Impaled Ways" compilation. Every other band from "Delictum" (and maybe the other as well) is on Metal Archives, and played Death, Black, or Thrash Metal. Their address and a price for their demo is given in the cassette inlay for the "Delictum" comp.
https://imgur.com/hziz3Zv
https://www.discogs.com/artist/13768666-Eternal-Death-3

Needs research. - Celestial Dawn
Location: Unknown (they don't seem to be the band from Canada that are on the site who are listed as having formed in '97)
Genre: Metal (?)
- of the 3 known "Delictum" compilation tapes released between 1992-'94, along with Eternal Death this is the only one that isn't on the site. Their song is called "Angel's Down Fall" according to Discogs, and it was on Vol. 3 (1994). A lot, but not all of the bands on the comp. are from Greece, so there's a fairly good chance that is where they're from. Additional scans aren't included on Discogs, but volumes 1 and 2 did have short band bios and further information, so the inlay of this compilation could help a lot. Every other band on all 3 volumes had at least one demo out - this one has yet to be confirmed to come from a valid release, though.

Needs research. - Force Ten
Location: Nordland, Norway
Listed genre: Heavy Metal
Band members: Jan Roger Andreassen (bass), Bjørn Pettersen (drums), Bjørnar Sandnes (guitars), Jan Sandnes (guitars), Arnt R. Grønås (vocals)
- Had a song, "Solitary Flyer" (or "Solitary Flier"; spelled differently in different places that it's printed) on this compilation: https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/R ... ck/1052708
Track review at The Corroseum: "I'm sure all of you also had Sarcofagus' "Astral Flyer" start playing in your mind as soon as you read that title, but while they share the same youthful homelyness, this tune is more 1983 demo-Metal than 1980 proto-dito and not quite as striking."

Seeking audio.

Needs research. - Autumn Pilgrimm
Location: North Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada
Described genre: Heavy Metal (Discogs listing), and other page mentions heavy metal, goth, and rock influences
Band members: Angus MaClean: vocals, Ronnie Reid: guitars, John Hawkins: guitars, Bill Davenport: bass, Richie Burns: drums, Ian McIntyre: drums (on 4 songs - possibly a session member, but uncertain). None seem to be listed on M.A.

Needs research. - Slavedriver
Location: US (unknown state, but listed as New York in one tradelist)
Genre: Heavy Metal
Band members: unknown
Discography: "My Eyes" promo tape/demo (1983). Song has also been referred to as "Prince of Darkness".
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hi8TQzgrGLU

Needs research. - Twist of Fate
Location: California, US (Anaheim? Los Angeles? Exact city unknown)
Genre: Thrash Metal
Band members: https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... Gee/364218 (vocals), https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Jack_Black/76221 (bass, R.I.P.), Mike Reynolds (drums), Don Rawlin (guitars, R.I.P. - also played in Oakland Raiderheads, BONG, and PossumDeth)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CP7c60ptgAI (live footage)
Discography unknown. They were around for about 5 years. 'Not to be confused with' mentions a Twist of Fate from Los Angeles with a '93 demo featuring a song called "Cities on Fire", but says that that band is rock, which these guys definitely aren't. There are a lot of US bands by this name. Have sent messages to Marc and Mike, asking about releases.

Needs research. - Hyrkanian Blades
Location: Greece / Italy
Genre: Epic Heavy/Power Metal
Member: https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... eggi/75394
Recorded at least 17 demo tracks in the early 2000s, which have circulated in the underground - but it's uncertain whether or not there was an official release.
https://www.youtube.com/@g.heathensrage ... n%20Blades
https://heavymetalrarities.com/forum/vi ... #gsc.tab=0
Some of the songs were later reworked in other bands that Marco sings/sang in: Battleroar and Dexter Ward.

Needs research. - Damian Steel
Location: Dallas, Texas, US
Genre: unknown (heavy metal? hard rock? One or both, most likely)
Discography: "A Taste of Steel" demo 1989, cassette - https://imgur.com/a/s36nGuo (track listing: You Can't Bring Me Down/ Come Back/ Five to Ten/ Take It All)
The song "You Can't Bring Me Down" is on this compilation LP: https://www.discogs.com/release/1006248 ... 2-Volume-5
(there's a band photo included on the compilation, which shows just one guitarist)

Hey guys, unfortunately I don't have much spare time to contribute to the site, at least for quite a while, but it's been a good run. I especially enjoyed mining for widely-forgotten or overlooked gems as a team, and with you guys' help we got a lot of them onto the site. I appreciated the opportunity to do work as a moderator and hope that it's helped this project. Can honestly say that I gave this my all for the last few years, and was grateful to have something worthwhile to invest a lot of time in through the pandemic. It was cool to get to know the people that I talked to on here also. Awesome that there is such a committed group to this cause. Well, with some things coming up and others that I've been putting off too long, I have to focus all of my energy elsewhere and I bow out with full respects to the people that are doing this every day, continuing to develop a resource used by countless metal fans. It was an honor to be a part of it for a while.
Cheers to all.

The best of luck, Spook. I hope you'll still be able to squeeze in half an hour every now and then to contribute or, in other words, to be around. Your dedication to the site has been beyond admirable. Rock on, mate.

Thanks! I'll still do some editing (already have found time for some), just less of it. Once I get some things taken care of, I might get back to working on the band and report queues again. It'll be a while, though. In the meantime, take care as well!

Surgical Dysfunctions audio found:

- probably fine to cross off the list. Doesn't sound too promising.
