Beginning with 'Snake Charmer' on March 10th, the main list isn't caught up (including Brutal Infliction having audio acquired and the band submitted to queue). It would be great if someone else can take over on keeping it organized for a while. Thanks.

... Italian compilation CD, "R.A.U.S.? Hard'n'Heavy CD Project" on the label Musical Box, 1991.

Needs research. - Aenphasys
Song title: "She Comes (Sister Death)"
Band members: Fabriano Bettio (vocals), Marco "Yorick" Tortato (guitars - https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Yorick/62650 ), Ivano Nasilli (bass), Thomas Carraro (drums), Denis Andolfo (keyboards).

Founded in 1987, the original lineup comprised:
Fabiano “Ciribin” Bettio – vocals
Marco "TNT" Tortato -guitars
Massimo “Max” Michieletto -bass guitar
Denis “DDT” Andolfo – keyboards
In the first two years drummer’s seat was most unstable, then Thomas “THO’” Carraro settled in.

Issued two demotapes:
Demo ‘89 (HM Thou being the Best of Things)”: studio songs (4-track recorder) + live songs.
On this tape Tortato also served as lead vocalist as Bettio had temporarily left the band. As far as I remember, three versions of this demo circulated: first version with Michele Martini drums on all tracks; then a version with one “bonus” track, featuring Carraro on drums; last a version with some of the studio tracks re-recorded with Carraro on drums.
Demo ‘90 (Not Withstanding the Situation)”, professional recording.
Original bassman Michieletto lost interest in the project and left the band shortly after having completed recording sessions*.

Following the release of the second tape and a positive review on the Metal Shock magazine, they signed with Musical Box Promotion (Klaus Byron), hence the CD. If memory serves me well, they also discussed a distribution agreement with Fireball Management (Ferro brothers, of Fireball magazine).

The song on the R.A.U.S. project, She Comes, was recorded specifically for the compilation.
By the time they entered the recording studio, Ivano Nasilli (ex-Stay Clean, later went pro) had replaced Michieletto.
The song was recorded in the same facility as the 2nd demotape: owned by engineer Paolo Cavallin, it was a small studio where also Black Jester and Signals had had their demo produced.
A professionally edited video of this song also exists.

Concerts were few and far in between.

Disbanded approx. one year after the CD was distributed.

*Homonymous with Massimo Michieletto of Asgard ( https://www.progarchives.com/artist.asp?id=30) but definitely not the same person.

Thank you for the very detailed information. Do you happen to have audio samples of their demos, or know where they could be found? Hoping to hear them to possibly add to the site and for interest of my own.

Gave away both tapes in the late 90's.
Anyway I am almost certain there are audio files around. If I find them I'll drop you a line

There's a lot of info and links here. Haven't checked it out much, but if they can be submitted, feel free to do so. Otherwise they can stay here or be crossed off if they're more on the rock side.

Although I find this to be acceptable musically, it's not really clear whether this was released or not.

(translated excerpts from the above link) -
(in reference to the late '90s, when their tape was released): "At that time, the old-timers of rock music received the Sepultura sound rather strangely.."
"'Népirtás' (their demo) was launched in 1998, but it was soon noticeable that thrash metal was really dying and Korn's sound was taking over. The number of concerts has also decreased significantly, not even in 2001 did they think it would be enough."
Members went on to a band called Son of a Beat, and eventually reformed Nepride.

Added. - Deificarum
Spoiler: show
Location: Netherlands
Listed genre: Death Metal
Band members: https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Arno_Ket/112364 (message sent)
https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... jer/497533 (message sent)
Gerrit Hamhuis
Discography: Demo 1994 (supposedly released on cassette originally. Discogs has a CD-R listing as well, though without many owners, and being a reissue with an unknown year.
Discogs: https://www.discogs.com/release/1705484 ... -Demo-1994
Compilation appearance(s):
- "Century of Decay + Outro" on Whispering Violence (1996, cassette) - every other band on this comp. is metal and are on the site.

Needs research. - Demonspawn
Genre: Death Metal(?)
Location: Most likely Netherlands, also possibly Belgium. Of the other 12 bands on the compilation, 2/3 are Dutch and 1/3 are Belgian with no location exceptions outside of these two countries.
- song "Slave 'till the Grave" is on this 1997 compilation tape: https://www.discogs.com/release/9544944 ... ed-Version (Discogs has it linked to an unrelated punk band with a CD release)
Possible that it's this band of unknown location, active around the same time: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/De ... 3540517733 (I sent a message to Ron Backus on FB, not 100% sure it's the right guy but seems likely).
They're the only band on this comp that aren't on the site, unless the band linked above is them.

(both added to the list)

Needs research. - Benighted
Location: Unknown (possibly one that's already on the site, but no indication that it is based on the logo and song titles)
Band members: ? - no info given in the j-card other than song titles
Discography: "Abyss" demo (year unknown; track listing: Insane/ Deep Black Abyss/ From Death to the Abyss/ Riders of Hell/ The Storm Insade Me/ Nightmare and the Sinner. Next-to-last track seems like an obvious typo of 'The Storm Inside Me', but that's how it's printed.

Added. - Fairy of Astral
Spoiler: show
Location: Japan (seems to have been an international project later on)
Genre: Symphonic Power Metal
Discography: Demo (3-track CD, released April 10, 2013). Tracks include Wings of Freedom, Sprit Guide (yes that's how they spell it), Where Do We Go from Here.

The issue is that there doesn't seem to be a way to hear the third track, which is important because "Sprit Guide" isn't particularly metal in comparison to "Wings of Freedom". I've contacted the guitarist Fuhito Nakamura (now known as Fridolf Karlsfeld) and he doesn't have the song anymore. Moreover, the band had a website which included the demo tracklist and cover, but seems to have been taken down recently. Even though I saved it to the Internet Archive a while back, I can't recall the URL to actually look it up.

Also here's their Facebook page.

I'd say this is predominantly nu metal. For every Pantera moment, there are 1.5 jumpdafuckups.

Nice find, thank you. If anyone thinks that those videos are convincing enough for Jigsaw to be added, feel free to do so.
