These guys are from Florida and blacklisted for being glam rock
https://www.discogs.com/release/1902529 ... Julian-Day

Removed. I figured this was the case but I did not check which Vandal was blacklisted.

Prolly the Blak mentioned here:
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Black/3540486520
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhd3BhjEYpo
Sounds like Nu Metal

Sounds nu, but more samples could be useful to judge this properly. Thanks!

Removed as well. Thanks.

These guys are from Florida, tagged as Indie Rock:

I imagine that's the case, even though I wasn't able to find the band's music. Aesthetics kind of checkout IMO so I've also tagged them out. Thanks.

Presumably these guys, grunge/Nu/Groove or something:
https://www.discogs.com/release/2595132 ... ds-Collide

Seems to be the case. Their CD is on Spotify. I'll try to take a look at it later. Thanks!

Kinda all-over-the-place:

There's some metal in some of these tracks, but it seems to be mostly punk. I wouldn't submit it myself, so I took it off the list. Thanks.

Listed as Alt Rock:

They seem to be rap rock based on their Facebook, where they cite their genre as such and were recently looking for a bassist "able to play Korn, Limp Bizkit, Green Day...". Removed.

Lots of soft rock songs in-between heavier groove-related things:
https://www.discogs.com/artist/1425049-Dead-Leaves

Seems a bit of a complicated one. I'll try listening to their entire album later. They also released an EP. It's probably a bit too borderline, though. Thanks.

Oddly, I had to use a VPN to access that website. I removed them from the list, as I find it doubtful they might be even remotely metal. Thanks for your help Paganius.

Great! I'd love it if you share the tracks.

Not black metal at all, pure ambient/darkwave. I'll PM you a link to a rip soon.

Could be totally off, but they also may have drastically changed their style in 10 years. There were also some line-up changes prior to the release of the disc that is for sale on Discogs.
Band members: (early '90s): Voc Asko Ylinen

Well, the EP is just melodic rock.

This release was available for purchasing at Bandcamp at some point. We just need to retrieve their music, somehow, if that's even possible:

Here's the link, if it can be useful for anything: https://thntrrock.bandcamp.com/album/-

This turned up on Soulseek, but the music is kind of 50/50 when it comes to metalness. Not sure, but I'll remove it from the list here since everything needed for a submission is now available. If anyone wants to submit it, be my guest: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/kd621m5y ... s1qua&dl=1

Doesn't seem to belong to either band with that name on MA (nor the US one in this thread?). I'm kinda wary of its legitimacy, at least in regards to the year.

Indeed, the same band, it seems to be. They have a Facebook and Instagram, and apparently they were recording stuff as of a few weeks ago. I threw a message their way to know whether they have any actual recordings or releases, but for now I will remove the band from the list given the likeliness they have no releases and that they don't require research.

Here is the only proof I got from 'em:

http://www.mikseri.net/artists/inpropagation.100163.php

From a demo they made called "Perverted Poetry Concerning the Flesh" I may suppose.

- (Spooky): MySpace page: https://myspace.com/inpropagationband

I've restored this, since we agreed that the Mikseri demo is valid.

There are 3 bands called "Alquimia" from Argentina on the site, but I got the name for this one from a Facebook post which mentions a few people who moved to Santa Fe and "met people from there, including [among others] the band Alquimia", so I'm assuming this is a different band. I might have to ask around again, however I just have one person to ask and I don't want to annoy them by constantly asking them about obscure-as-shit bands lol

Yeah, missed Rosario by about 1900 kilometers. However, this band might be a bit borderline, but I'm wondering if it's worth the trouble of getting VR info on it to submit it.

Not entirely unlikely, but this band was defined as being a metal band from Santa Fe. I will try to find out whether it is the same band or not; it's likely, though.

Found nothing on these guys, but came across a band called “Armageddon Dildos” from Germany. Just so y’all know that’s a thing...

Mid name, I've seen worse lol.

Could be, these dudes do look like they've been going at it for a while, but similarly to Bangladesh, the band I got was described as being from Santa Fe and being active in the '90s. These guys seem to be from the Buenos Aires Province, and the fact that all their social media was created recently makes me believe it's a rather new band. On top of this, I expected their members to have a few specific friends in common with me on Facebook, but it doesn't seem to be the case. I'll also have to ask around but these might be two different bands.

Considerable chance that this is the case. I tried searching up whatever people or places were mentioned in that cassette's back cover, but the only thing I got is maybe someone from Mendoza, but I can't determine if this is the same band we're talking about here. These guys were mentioned together with Actidud Enemiga, Postmortem and other metal bands active during the early and mid 1990s, so a 1999 cassette labeled "alternative rock" throws me off a bit. Might also have to ask around to confirm this, but I nonetheless believe it's most likely these are the same band.

Del Viso is considerably far from Santa Fe, and Trelew is in the south of the country. This Koma 4 was a continuation of a band called Hora H, which seemingly split up into two different bands, this one and A Punto, which is already on the site.

That band from Del Viso has some metal riffs but they seem to be mostly hardcore. I don't think it's worth submitting to the queue for now.

The first band seems to be the one I was looking for. Their logo matches the one in an old flyer I found. They don't seem to have anything other than just that digital single on Spotify, apart from stuff on their YouTube. Not sure if that's enough to add them to the site. Thanks for the info, though.

The second band seems rather acceptable so I'm submitting them. The info on them is totally barebones, though.

Thanks. They seem to have studio recordings in a thrash/death style, but I'll have to find VR proof.

Not the same band. Check the description, the one I got was from Mendoza, played a gig in 2009 with Vikingos. These guys formed in 2012 and are on the other side of the country.

The label owner has kindly sent me samples and it's currently pending, so feel free to mark it off the list. Thanks.

Needs research. - Mallun 88
Location: Unknown, but likely Brazil
Genre: Raw Black Metal/Noise (NSBM)
Band members: Unknown, but could be a Granatus side-project

Discography:
- Mallun 88 / Granatus (demo)
- Europacunt / Sodomakvlt (5-way split)

Samples

This I know exists in digital downloadable form, and that it was released on Lord ov Hell's bootleg/download blog, Black Pentacle Antiquarium. However, he has since blocked public access to it after I've started cleaning up information on most of his garbage output online, and I didn't think to save a source or screenshot. So, proof of release is needed.

There might actually be two bands called "Cautivo", one from Santa Fe, the other from Entre Ríos. Can't confirm, however.

There’s also one from Libertad, apparently:

But I think the one from Entre Rios is already listed:

Yes, they are indeed called Receptores. I made a typo when writing the post. Thanks for pointing it out.

Turns out these guys seemingly disbanded by 2010. Not sure whether they recorded anything though.

The similar name and location make it quite likely. De La Cruz had recordings from the '90s with Panky from Cruor-Lid (and other bands) on vocals. This other band you linked is made up of rather young guys from Paraná, Entre Ríos (which is right next to Santa Fe). Then, the band that I mentioned originally here was mentioned by Panky as being one of the earlier metal bands from Santa Fe.

I will try to confirm this. All I can say is that the band from Paraná isn't the same one as either De La Cruz or La Cruz, if these two are not the same band.

Yes, I was aware of this band; Concepción del Uruguay is on eastern Entre Ríos, on the banks of the Uruguay River. Most of my research is focused on bands by the Paraná River, in western Entre Ríos and eastern Santa Fe. From personal experience, it's been rather rare for the scenes from both sides to mix, so I have one or two reasons to believe that the Cautivo I've mentioned is probably a different band, but I still find it likely it might be the CdU band.

If anyone can estimate a date for this flyer, then it might clear things up:

Yes. It's these guys. I don't know if they have any recordings. Panky would have them if they do, so I'll have to ask the guy sometime. Thanks.
