I got some information from a former member that confirms that the Putrid Society demo mentioned in the fanzine Mad House #3 (1990) was recorded and released in early 1990 and that the band broke up shortly afterwards and two members together with a former member of another band (Delirium Tremens, which I'm contacting a member of to see if I can get more information to try submitting that as well) got together and formed Agente Laranja. I submitted Aggressive with the information I got and am awaiting further information about Agente Laranja.

That's great news, Dudgeon.

Needs research. - Picture This
Location: Oakland, California, US
Listed genre: Heavy Metal
- name change of https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/De ... 3540314153 . The 1994 "Bowdown" cassette contained 3 of their members, as well as bassist Markus Gatz (https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... atz/921789). Lineup uncertain on 1998 "Turn Away" tape.

(edit, 9/7): They also had 2 full-length CDs, self-titled (1995) and "Serenity" (1996). A friend sent me the full release of the self-titled, which sounds more like progressive hard rock with grunge elements at first glance. I'll continue to listen more, and will send the tracks to Azmodes if it seems convincing enough on the metal scale.

- they have original tracks on Freddy Olloa's YouTube channel in addition to their compilation song, "La Tierra Reclama" ("Propaganda de guerra", "Instrumental", "Violencia inercial", "Sotonas"). Unsure if they released anything other than the compilation appearance (with more then 6 bands), though.

Apparently a stoner/doom metal band from Brampton, Ontario, formed in December 2001 under the name Insipid, before disbanding and reforming in late 2002 under this name. They also went by the name Voodoo Caravan for a month in 2003. There are known recordings by this band, as evidenced by scrobbled tracks on last.fm. They had two live recordings on mp3.com, one of which I uploaded to YouTube. As of 2003 they had not released a CD with their recordings, though, but according to the band's archived forums, they released an EP CD in January 2005, likely titled Voodoo Caravan.

They also seem to have sold a 3-track demo after August 2004, then a 6-track demo, but it was most likely that 2005 EP. The 6 track demo is mentioned to have had this tracklist:
- Dadadadadada
- Magic Mind
- Tool (Native is A)
- Deep Water
- Fire Feur
- Thump

This tracklist also appears in a blog post about their EP titled Voodoo Caravan, so unless they re-recorded songs from a demo, they're the same thing.

Seemingly also had 3 live CDs:

Live@Midnite Train 2003
- Mellow
- Avon (Queens of the Stone Age Cover)
- Wolf Dick
- Fire Feur
- Dadadadadada
- Stoned
- Not for Sale
- Cherub Rock (Smashing Pumpkins Cover)
- Brenton Precussion
- Voodoo Caravan
- Danny's Son (Written buy Danny, when he was in the band for a week)
- Tool
- Feel Good Hit of the Summer (Queens of the Stone Age Cover)

Live@MasonicLodge2002:
- Intro(Fix your damn guitar!!)
- Pilot the Dune (Slo Burn cover)
- Tool
- Impaled on a Picket Fence
- Stuck Under the Wheels of Your Uncles Pickup Truck
- Killing in the Name (Rage Against the Machine Cover)
- Number 2
- Song that Sounds like Number 2
- Sliver (Nirvana Cover)
- Between Two Faces
- Fuck! (The Pizza Song)
- membah

Live@Kathedral2002:
- HoneyBucket(Melvins Cover)
- Tool
- Flamigo
- Fuck! (The Pizza Song)
- Stuck Under the Wheels of Your Uncles Pickup Truck
- Impaled on a Picket Fence
- Acid Horse
- Hurricane(Kyuss Cover)

Members:
- Carey Linton (Guitars, Vocals) (2002-2003, 2003-?)
- Brent F. (Rhythm guitars) (2002-2003, 2003-?)
- James C. (Bass) (2002-2003, 2003-?), (Guitars) (2002)
- Spencer Linton (Drums) (2002-2003, 2003-?)

- Jamie Jackson (2002)

I found email addresses for Carey, Spencer and James. I sent them an email asking if they had any more information about the band's releases. Not sure if I will get any hear anything back. Spencer's email seems to be not active. Both Carey and James were delivered.

I think the band 'Burning Face' from Puerto Rico can be updated. I found their Discogs and tried to find some of their music. Their album 'Noos' is in full on youtube and sounds like alternative/post-punk. I think a track from their 1994 mini-album is available in a comp, but I'm unsure. The track on youtube is called '1994', which is when the s/t album came out. Regardless, it sounds like gothic rock.

Azrael looks interesting. Members are given in the inlay: Mark (guitars), Tim (bass), Guinea (vocals), Al (drums), Sav (guitars).
They thank Battleaxe and Wolfsbane for advice (who are both from England).

^ demo is probably from 1989 and not 1999 as listed on the cassette itself.

Good. Extremely doubt it'll get us anywhere since it's unlikely anyone's still using that same email from the early 2000s, but there's the slight chance they might still.

According to the Facebook, they uploaded the music to Myspace and PureVolume as a release, so that discogs listing is more than likely bunk.

Only one song from this EP has made its way onto Youtube, "Knight in Shining Armor". It sounds similar to Girlschool. I'm just wondering if the rest of the EP does as well. There's also footage of a live show they played in 1980, but none of the songs ended up on this EP. Here is a link to the song and some from the aforementioned show...

"Knight in Shining Armor": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cn3FcOGfhjI

"Committed" (live): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdDqJ8wVvMo

Rest of the EP on youtube now. Sounds more rock than metal to me but could be borderline.

'Burn.Heal.Scar' from Cali list album in full on bandcamp. I'm bad with the metalcores, but sounds metal?

The riffs are predominantly core on every release.

Here are samples of the two splits the band put out. Enough to get them added?

Bandcamp, sounds a bit too noise heavy to qualify.

Formed in 1991 and disbanded in 2001, quite a famous band with lot of releases. Previously known as X and Necrophilia.

They released the "Messed Chronically" Demo Tape in 1992 and the "Messed Rehearsal '93" Demo Tape (where they played thrash / fast crossover) and later the split tape with Basic Rights where they shifted to a more straight HC style, as well as some songs on compilation. Unfortunately none of the early recordings are available (I listened to them while in Malaysia at my friend's shop a few years ago) despite is quite a famous band

Samples on youtube. Can add if acceptable.

Whoops nevermind on the Chronic Mass band. That split was the only listing on Discogs, so still needs more samples on the demos.

This was uploaded in its entirety to Youtube and does not sound like thrash.

Sounds like that actually *is* the coldwave band? Not metal anyway.
