1 inch Bullet has it's music available on several sites, namely reverbnation. But it's also on a site called jarmendo music. No idea if this is legit or not.

For Red Abyss, I didn't realize they have a Bandcamp page (even though it's on the main artist Discogs page). Good eye. The main concern with the tape, I guess is that the one song says (cut) after the title, and the problem with the downloads on Bandcamp is that they both have identical artwork, so aren't considered valid singles by the site's guidelines. I'd see what Azmodes thinks about it, though, since there's basically two 'almost' qualifying pieces of proof of release, and for sure add the Bandcamp link to the research list if VR isn't quite there yet.
(edit) - gave it a quick listen, and the music is metal. The song also on Bandcamp has "(cut)" in the title, but it doesn't actually sound like it's cut off at the end. A chord is played along with a drum hit, and then it fades to silence like at the end of any other song.

Patricide (Fin) that audio was found for - that is one of of the bands that you posted, Miro Alhonniemi. Should be either submitted or blacklisted (haven't listened much, but it's punkier than expected) -

Basically what Spooky said. Zero owners, so despite the photo it could use more details on distribution and quantity. Not enough even combined.

Jamendo is valid, but it only lists 3 and not 4 tracks? RN has 4, at least.

Some dudes said that they saw their tapes for sale at that time, so they themselves are surprised that not a single surviving copy has yet been found.

Master-tapes were successfully stolen at one time (lolwut?; but it happens).

I highly doubt therw were tapes in 1986/87 in Russia....unless they were on state-controlled label. First examples of tapes outside the state label started to appear with Korrozia Metalla. Not even D.I.V. released their album on cassette in 1988: the pictures on Discogs refers to a later edition despite theres the "P 1988": it originally came on reel-to-reel only.... and for many years after 1988 the majority of the bands recorded on reel-to-reel only. In fact most of the independent demos listed on M-A as "cassette" actually are reel-to-reel. The main reasons were costs and government control. A very small and limited independent cassette production started to appear at the collapse of the soviet regime, from 1989 onwards but still very few bands could afford releases on cassette because most of the manufacturing pressing plant were belonging to state owned music companies.

Got the CD for Backwater Plague in today, and uploaded the EP to youtube. Sounds metal and will get to submitting later today. For the record, I just got finished looking through the spreadsheet of all the bands that definitely have a discogs page. I'll be buying some albums without samples in the meantime. I'll try looking at some other lists on the spreadsheet like the seattle list or hungarian list.

I think the 'Buddha!' on the site is the Hungarian band on the research list. Bob Macura is in two other hungarian bands, and the discogs page lists hungary as the country of origin.

Once again, unsure on this one. I think this is the 'Crazy Granat' from the list, but the archived site says 1999 as the year of formation, while the wiki says 1994. The discogs also has an entirely different lineup. How many bands from Hungary are called "Crazy Granat" though?

Akademy Shred can be removed. Binghamton, New York band that I came across before, and they're more punk than thrash metal.

Negative Perception is listed twice, and one can be removed (verified it's for the same band).
