Needs research??? - Сузорье

hard-n-heavy in the spirit of Rainbow

https://youtu.be/BQPVBH0Oydo
https://youtu.be/cyiKHIyFxo4

The LP appears to be partly just "cut up" from a recording from 1984.
I don't know how much this fits into the framework, but I think it's still worth mentioning.

Thanks! Are there any other lists that seem unnecessary at this point? I'm not trying to jump the gun or get as many bands removed from the list as possible, but I'm curious which lists have been scrutinized and which ones haven't.

The Amethyst list has recently been scrutinized and had some removed. "From, near or played in California" list is fine as is. The "Brazilian Rock Soldiers" comps have been gone through at least somewhat - may not need to stay. Some were hardcore/nu-metal. Not sure about the Hungarian band list.

Pin Hells: i think this is a misspelling of PINHEELS, or the other way around. Either way, I can only find a single contribution on a comp album, and it sounds like hard rock.

Panty Raid can be removed - punk.

Same with Authority Resist.

Brass Tacks isn't metal, can be removed.

Unleaded: With a generic name like this, I'm unsure what band the site is referring to. According to last.fm, there was a punk band from italy that went by that name. Alternatively, there's a facebook page for a clearly non-metal italian band of the same name. Not metal either way.

I was about to submit Agony and Ecstasy but I'm torn on the legitimacy of its validity. The only proof of valid release is a render of a back insert for a CD. What I can't find is any other mention of distribution or if the CD is even real. This begs the question of how many bands make mock ups of what a back insert could look like without actually putting out a CD. I asked on the facebook page if this is from a CD, but have gotten no response. Would this be likely to be approved or blacklisted is what I'm currently wondering. Because if the picture is just a render, the band is streaming only.

Morgan Humphries - vocals (R.I.P., 2020-ish)
Jared Srsic (drums - played in Sunnshine later)
Jeff Srsic (guitars - relocated to Florida. https://www.instagram.com/jeffsrsic/?hl=en
https://jeffsrsic.blogspot.com/ )
- Released at least one demo. Active around the early '90s.

Plentas (Lithuania) - double-checked, and apart from being borderline metal leaning into hard rock, no valid releases as far as I can tell.

Отражение (Russia) - early name of Старая Школа, no releases. Double-checked Старая Школа vk page, but they only put up streaming singles, which AFAIK not considered "valid release". They have two DVDs they send on request, which I reckon also not "valid". Correct me if I'm wrong...

Sick Joke from Netherlands: Punk from the songs online and discogs page. This is most certainly the same band since the compilation shares song titles with the demos. Readily available but I think unfit for pursuing further.

21 грамм (Russia) - here are some tracks, I'm quite sure it's not metal (they self-identify as "emo deathcore").

3-й Рим (Russia) - rock.

3t1k (Russia) - rock.

7 день (Russia) - identifies as rap / hip-hop.

Авенир (Russia) - couldn't find any samples, but interview with a band member refers to them as playing rock.

Автопарк (Russia) - another lost and forgotten band, rock.

АверсЪ (Russia) - looks like a very short-lived band with all information now gone. Browsed their webpage through Wayback Machine and it only mentions a couple of concerts and teases uploading 2 tracks. Refer to themselves as "rock band".

Алюминат (Russia) - rock.

Амурский Бульвар (Russia) - rock.

Анастетик (Russia) - they are death metal / grindcore, but no any content apart from a few live videos on their vk (or elsewhere).

Аномикон (Russia) - definitely metal, but no releases. The band links to their mp3 demo in vk comments, which leads to a closed local community which can only be accessed by invitation.

Антикор (Russia) - I don't think it's metal?

Апперетив (Russia) is misspelled Аперитив. Says "rock" on their page, looks like they had one concert, uploaded one track and then deleted it, no other activity from the band.

Арт-Этаж (Russia) - couldn't find any information about them apart from being referred to as "acoustic rock" band.

Асснова (Russia) - no music found, but their bio says "soft rock".

Балу (Russia) - emo...punk?

Без Имени (Russia) - rock.

Биополе (Russia) - sounds like metal. Couldn't find any releases, their dvmusic page hasn't been updated since 2008.

Биэт (Russia) - rock.

Блютузоff (Russia) - this video seem to be the only evidence of their existence...

Болевой Порог (Russia) - metal, couldn't find any info.

Большой Камень (Russia) - couldn't find samples, but their dvmusic page says "light rock".

Валера Шелепчук (Russia) - can't find any samples from this person, referred to as "punk poet" by a pretty reputable Russian music historian Артемий Троицкий in his Back in the USSR book.

Выход Здесь (Russia) - punk rock.

They are two different bands. Officina Meccanica come from nearby Rome and they were quite well known in the 70's.
Meccanica are from the north east of Italy and feature a different line-up. anyway, none of them can be called metal

Angus Bidoli and Marco Santoni (both in Fingernails)

S/T CD Ep with 6 tracks. As the review says:

https://www.italiadimetallo.it/recensio ... icane/same

"I sei brani qui proposti fanno parte di un Ep che a breve dovrebbe essere implementato con altri brani per arrivare a un full-lenght degno di tale nome. Lo stile è il solito e ormai inconfondibile, nato anni fa nella prima incarnazione dei Fingernails e riproposto anche in 'Rock and Roll Dynamite' e cioè sporco e grezzo old school speed metal che tanto deve ai Motorhead. "

"These 6 songs are part of an ep that will be soon expanded with new tracks for a full lenght album. Style is the same as Fingernails.... dirty and rough speed metal influenced by Motothead"

Confirmed to be a CD Ep

Moreover these 6 songs are exactly the first 6 tracks of Fingernails' "Rotten Souls" CD (which is composed by the above mentioned ep plus new recordings by Fingernails and two acoustic tracks): this is the "implemented full lenght album" which the first review refers to

Digital only. The back cover of the cd, as well as the front cover, are provided for those who want to create their own hand-made cd version

They previously released an Ep titled "Alter-ed Ego" (2016), also digital:

The band origins come from a previous project called Mysterhydden who released two demos ("Inviolable Exile" in 2003 and "Poetry of the Lost" (2005) plus one album ("The Omega Manifesto" in 2010) which remains unreleased on purpose.
