Glaucoma from Brazil has several tracks online, some can be downloaded from their reverbnation, and some appear with a cover that says 'Civil War'. I'm sure the tracks on reverbnation are their own demo and are VR, but I'd like more details like a title and confirmation. Messaged the facebook but no guarantees.

Played decent power metal. The album is said to have been released on CD-R.

(additional info from Baldadeath) -
"Небо в огне" (which is a demo, according to their biography linked below) could have been recorded in 2005. The second album "Беседа со временем" was supposed to be released on Moon Records, but I guess both the demo and the album have been released for download only. Eduard Sukhodolov formed the group ЭСкандер after the end of Трилогия

Good enough to submit?

Now, just a personal consideration about the possible existence of some albums

I remember while I was in Nepal last winter that I found a band.... Vibrato, one of the recognized heavy metal band from that country. There was one photo available online and some samplers posted by the band itself or by some nepali fan on YT.
I submitted it to MA and it was accepted.
A couple of days later a western collector posted the same exact image of that album with the same information I provided (till then nobody was aware of that band) claiming he has that copy. Strangely enough he used the same photo that circulated on nepalese closed FB groups only (which I belong to) and created a page on Discogs claiming to have it. And the collector who created that page is definitively not from Nepal. Moreover there were more photos of that tape in that nepali FB group showing the inner cover and the tape itself but as he sourced the only photo he found here on MA (because we can't post more than 1 photo per album) he couldn't be aware of more angles/details of it. It happens really often that collectors take random photos here and there, create a page on discogs (often even putting a random format such as CD-R to justify it, or just copying information taken elsewhere) claiming to have it. In the case of Trilogiya they just used an image that even has the logo of xzona.net.ru, a downloadable russian website which watermarks most of the uploads. And he claims to have it as cd-r. With the xzona logo on it? mmmmmm....

So, when I see just front pictures or, like in the case above regarding the nepalese band, I highly doubt when I see "1 has it".... at least not in a physical form. Most of times users on Discogs use other people's source and claim to have it just to look cool.

Anyway, in the case of Trilogiya, it's clear that the picture is taken from a notorious downloadable website, xzona.net.ru ... there's even the logo on the cover. And no other proofs of a physical form or whatever. And, at this point one must check if it was spreaded on acceptable downloadable platforms rather than spending time to check proofs of a physical release. Even because till now there is no proof at all of a physical release of their two albums. And not even official platforms which can be counted as "official"

Cadaverine: Two tracks on reverbnation, demo/promo stuff. Going off inactivity and a lack of material on the bandcamp page, I'd say the band is done with and never put anything worthwhile out.
https://www.reverbnation.com/cadaverinemtl

Call Of Saints: Extremely sparse facebook. Probably never recorded anything.
https://www.facebook.com/CallOfSaints/about

Camalus: Tracked for a demo, but no indication it came out. Band is split up, will ask for clarification.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1tX7OlMWgQ

Cephalysm: nothing, dead link, search gives me nothing.

Cerberia: Old facebook is dead but it looks like they made a new one and are recording new material. Check back on this one.
https://www.facebook.com/Cerberia/
https://www.reverbnation.com/cerberia

Chainsaw Armageddon: Sounds like downtuned beatdown hardcore, not metal.
https://chainsawarmageddon1.bandcamp.co ... the-making

Chomp: Another band with studio pics but nothing to show for it. Will ask facebook for clarification.
https://soundcloud.com/chompmontreal

Circle Pit Commando: 99% sure this band never recorded.
https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100069944147826

Close2Hell: Some metal tracks on reverbnation, but no VR. Will ask facebook page.

Clotix: Nada.

Cold Anger: Dead facebook. Put out a 5 song demo (which I'm assuming are the tracks on reverbnation). No VR as they aren't downloadable. Sounds more like rock than metal.
https://www.reverbnation.com/coldanger/songs

Cold Will: Recorded an album, but never released it. No vr.
https://imgur.com/a/xlcPtj0
https://www.facebook.com/ColdWill.ca

Comatmebro: Today's theme is asking bands if they recorded anything.
https://www.facebook.com/comatmebacon

Cosmic Embryo: Cybergrind/Noise.
https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=329374184652050

Crashing Lights: Looks like live only according to facebook pics. Will ask.
https://www.facebook.com/CrashingLights

Cryptic Souls: One rough track on reverb then changed names. Band is no more.
https://www.reverbnation.com/crypticsouls
https://www.facebook.com/p/Cryptic-Soul ... 5sh8k&_rdr

Crystalis: Nothing. Dead facebook and url doesn't link to anything else.

Cyanide Eyes: Sludge/Crust. Metal? Sounds like it, but i'm not familiar with donwtemp/crusty bands.

Needs research. - Attila
Location: Philippines
Discography: 2 songs on "Sigaw Ng Kamalayan" Compilation Tape 1995

https://www.discogs.com/it/release/5062 ... -Kamalayan

Despite what it's said in the description, all the other bands are totally away from death/thrash: they are punk.

But there are many local punk compilation with 1-2 death/thrash bands in them, so this may be the case. The name sounds interesting but there are no samplers for Attila.

Needs research. - Scum
Location: Philippines (Cebu, if i remember well)
Music genere: Grindcore / Death
Discography: Rehearsal Demo 1992; 5 songs on "Themes of Madness" Compilation Tape 1995

https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/D ... ess/891121

Scum were a sort of cult band back at the time and in many local forums people say to have their rehearsal demo. Never seen any photo of it. And there are no audio sources from the compilation/split tape which was released by the guys of Death After Birth

Needs research. - Posthumous
Location: Philippines
Music genere: Death Metal
Discography: 3 songs on "Themes of Madness" Compilation Tape 1993

https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/D ... ess/891121

Posthumous were one of the earliest death metal bands in the Philippines. Except the songs from this compilation (which can be found nowhere except for the photo I found long time ago), there are no audio sources available

Needs research. - Pesteng Ahem
Needs research. - Tenebros Taro
Needs research. - Pariseo
Needs research. - Black Skulls
Location: Philippines
Music genere: ?????
Discography: they all have songs on "Tunog ng musikang nalalim" Compilation Tape 1995

https://www.discogs.com/it/release/1464 ... ng-Nalalim

No idea about the kind of music they play. Askals are already included on MA while B.O.K. are punk. The above mentioned bands are unknown and unavailable online

Dancing Dead: one single on youtube. Studio update on facebook but it's in french. Probably broke up before it could come out like many of these other bands. Sent a message asking for clarification.
https://www.facebook.com/dancingdeadband/videos
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XTwkgor1g1M

Dark Omentia: Demo in full on youtube. has a picture of CD on it but that could just be a mockup? Sounds metal, and it looks like the band is still active.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9iYT0Jnv95E

Darkmill: Grindcore/Crust. Sounds riffy to me but borderline.
https://darkmill2.bandcamp.com/album/feed-the-poor

Dead Citizen: Prog metal/rock Just two singles, one with no art. The one with no art sounds decently metal, but the first one is longer is significantly less metal.
https://deadcitizen.bandcamp.com/track/ ... d-backfire

Dead Elegance: Progressive Metalcore with a lot of chugging. Not metal.
https://deadeleganceofficial.bandcamp.com/album/ep

Deadly Revenge: Metal and has an entire album... on youtube. No VR.

Dear Broken Heart: Metalcore. More core and rock than metal.

https://www.reverbnation.com/deathintended

Decimate the Crowned: One borderline deathcore single. No VR.

Defective Paradox: More borderline deathcore, but more acceptable sounding. Still chugs here and there. Will prob submit.
https://music.apple.com/us/album/roots- ... 1437856085

Defy the Crown: Not to be confused with a hardcore band from the Netherlands. This band looks like live only.

Demons Keepers: Punk.
https://demonskeepers.bandcamp.com/albu ... our-demons

Deny the Evidence: More core than metal.
https://denytheevidence.bandcamp.com/album/dte

Devil Drowned: So it looks like a demo entitled 'Void Of Silence' with three tracks was put out for download. You can still get them on reverbnation, and there looks to be artwork on the same page. Not sure if this is valid enough.
https://www.reverbnation.com/devildrowned

Devil's Dancers: Dead facebook and one intro track on reverbnation. Band is likely broken up.
https://www.reverbnation.com/devilsdancers

Devil's Land: looks live only.
https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063765947626

Diamond of Fire: Dead link, can't find much else besides another facebook of the same name and genre, but in spanish? Probably not the same band.

Dilem: band changed their name to 'Blackpesth'. Buncha tracks on reverbnation but only some can be downloaded. Will ask page for clarification.
https://www.reverbnation.com/dilemband

Dinosaurs Are Not Gone: Technical/Progressive/Experimental metalcore that is all kinds of things, except overwhelmingly metal.
https://dinosaursarenotgone.bandcamp.co ... /rawrrrr-2

Disease: Death metal with three singles on bandcamp. Will submit.
https://disease1.bandcamp.com/track/sur ... -insertion

Disinclined: Two death metal singles on reverbnation available for download. One has its own artwork. Probably not enough to submit, right? facebook is dead.
https://www.reverbnation.com/disinclined

Divinations: Rock.
https://divinationsmusic.bandcamp.com/album/sailorman

Download Live Misery: Three singles available for purchase from soundclick, 2 of which don't have art, and the other just has a picture of the band. Probably doesn't constitute VR.

Empty Citizen: Live performance sounds like alt rock, and not very metal. No indication they recorded anything.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UxBo2CRM98Q

Era of Confusion: Could only find a reverbnation with nothing on it. Probably never recorded anything and probably has no VR.

Eternal Wrath: One streaming only single on reverbnation. Most likely no VR. Facebook is no more and most likely split up.
https://www.reverbnation.com/officieleternalwrath/songs

Evil Can Evil: Stoner Rock.
https://music.apple.com/us/artist/evil- ... /781711591

Extricate: Dead facebook with a fairly generic band name doesn't turn up much.

Exutus: not on apple music, bandcamp, reverb, or soundcloud. Dead facebook and a search turns up nothing.

Seems likely that this UK 'zine is writing about their sound from a tape. Release info unknown. Active in 1979, and then 1982-? (at least 1984)

Mad Rocker (or at least one of them) actually feature in the 1984 Japanese movie 'Majoran' about the Metal/Rock/Biker Gang scene in '80's Osaka (as 'マッドロッカー’, which is just the name in Japanese katakana characters). As you can see here, he's even wearing the same jacket as the 'Metal Forces' photo: https://i.imgur.com/ZI3aJep.png
I believe its just a PR shot and don't believe the band provide any of the music tracks though. Those are mostly done by Presence, Loudness and Majoran themselves, all already listed here, of course.

Don't get them mixed up with Kyoji Yamamoto (Bow Wow)'s second band 'Mad Rocker' from about the same time either. They were based in Matsue and more Blues Rock: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLbM9pj4w3k

Edit: There is a live set on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/@YOSHIKI1962196 ... B%E3%83%BC
Seems to be the right band - it's in Osaka and the drummer is called Hiro. doesn't really help in knowing hther there's a valid release though.

Facing the Comet: Bah, last post shows recording in progress with nothing out as of now. Will message but the band likely broke up before they could release anything. Not finding anything on music sites.

Fadeless: Grunge/Rock.
https://www.reverbnation.com/fadeless/songs

Fall of Gabriel: aka The Fall of Gabriel. This is a rare case where there's definitely a VR but I cannot find samples of the music. Described as metalcore and has a teaser on youtube. From the samples it sounds pretty chuggy and hardcore/alt rock. Not sure if it's worth pursuing, doesn't to me.

Fall of the Dead: No results on Bandcamp, Discogs, Apple Music, Reverb, Soundcloud. Dead facebook. Search doesn't give me much.

False Flag Heroes: Straddles the industrial line pretty hard. Metal at times, electronic at others. No VR as i can tell. Will ask for more details but the music doesn't give me much hope.

Fanachronic: Metal, but only streaming tracks on reverb. No VR.
https://www.reverbnation.com/fanachronic/songs

Farewell Pluto: Reverbnation describes the band as rock/garage. But this reverb lists the band as Vancouver, whereas the list says Montreal and progressive metalcore. Facebook no longer under the band name.

Fatal Flaw: Punky grind.

Fayne: Progressive Metalcore that sounds more core than metal.
https://faynemusic.bandcamp.com/music

Feed the Paradox: Dead facebook and a reverbnation with nothing on it. Search gives me nothing, so likely no VR.
https://www.reverbnation.com/feedtheparadox

Feeding of Anal Flesh: Spoke of recording but I can't find anything.
https://www.facebook.com/feedingofanalflesh/

Five Hills: Progressive Metal/Rock that rides the line. I'd appreciate a second opinion, because i'm not convinced the metal outweighs the rock here.
https://fivehills.bandcamp.com/album/to ... -unveiling

Forges d'Ambres: Black metal. Easy. Will submit.
https://forgesdambre.bandcamp.com/music

From Existence: Dead facebook and a search turns up nothing.

Frozen Lake: Metal, but a dead facebook and only two streaming only tracks on reverb aren't promising. I think they are from an EP (which could just be the two songs), but once again, they're streaming only, so no VR.

Fullmoon: reverbnation with nothing on it. Will ask facebook for more info, but looks live only.

Ragged Lace has a discogs page but only appears on one compilation. The track sounds metal, but I doubt much else was recorded. All searches mostly lead back to the compilation they appear on.

Ragged Lace doesn't have information about a discography outside of that compilation track available online at the moment, but would like to ask their members or others who would know if they'd put out anything more back then that there isn't documentation of readily available online right now (like Jackal on the same comp; demo release confirmed, in process of acquiring track listing). Raven Mad on that comp is in the same boat. One of my friends is in the process of doing a 'deep dive' into obscure mid-'80s San Diego heavy metal, and I should be getting more music and info about some bands from him soon as he speaks with members. There are a lot of releases that can only be found out about by asking members or local people that remember. One of the things that sets this site apart from others is that we do the research, check under the rock and regularly exhume rare pieces by taking it a step further, and the cutoff point isn't limited to what can be found on a Google search.

I understand, and I apologize if I've been too eager with some of these bands.

It's okay. To be honest, you are one of the most valuable users that has come onto the site/this thread specifically, in years. Don't mean to come off harsh in that post. Thanks for all of your awesome work here.

God's Ashes: Reached out for VR. No response back yet.
https://www.facebook.com/GodsAshes

Goodbye Sparta: Borderline metalcore that leans towards acceptable with a bunch of singles that share artwork.
https://goodbyesparta.bandcamp.com/track/truth

Grave of Disgrace: More core than metal.
