Kanibaal Jö: Dead facebook, likely broken up. has a track on bandcamp that sounds metal. It's also an alternate spelling of 'Cannibal Jo', which is already on the list, so they can be merged.
https://metalmouth.bandcamp.com/track/s ... -victories
https://www.reverbnation.com/cannibaljo

Katharsys: They recorded an album but canned it after not being satisfied with results so no VR. My guess is that they changed names and tweaked the music more to the liking.

Khaos: Dead facebook and has some tracks on reverbnation and youtube. Has the following members on the archives, so maybe they could be reached out to.

Regarding Ear to Ear, there's no VR as of now confirmed by the band. The musicians behind the band may or may not release more material under the name and are shooting for January of 2024. Maybe add a check back later note.

L'habit me Suce le Moine: Non-metal grind.

Leading the Betrayed: One track on soundcloud.

Lessons of Fate: Metal track on a comp. Will see if they did any more. Band is split up though, and they only ever mentioned a single, so odds are that's it as far as music.

Kryptosexual Canceroid is a mispelling of Kryptosexual Cancroid. They have a discogs page and samples on youtube. Sounds more noisey and grindy than metal.

can I leave Aurora, Easily Broken with you? It's a nice E.P., you probably won't like it as it's a little coreish, but I think it's good and pretty heavy

Needs research. - French metal demos
Most of these tapes within 2 images are from the '80s. A lot of the bands are on the site, but the ones below aren't, and seem worth looking into further. The owner of tapes, https://www.facebook.com/antero.ahlund (from Finland) may be able to provide further info (I noticed him answering a few questions in posts about them), and/or might be willing to trade for dubs.

- image 1: https://imgur.com/a/qY09jgL
Top row (row 1): Evol, Cristal (another Cristal title is in row 2. Review here that doesn't go into much description: https://thecorroseum.org/fanzines/metal_instinct-01.php )
Row 2: Fire Ride, Asylum. Note: There is another promising Asylum demo from France here ( https://imgur.com/a/riPaYP8 ), which may or may not be the same band that have a tape there in row 2. Info found about "Lost Centuries" demo by Asylum (France) in Forgotten Steel distro catalogue - "Metal from La Pochelle, color cover, sticker on tape, 5 tracks incl. "Deadly Innocence", "Shes Driving in the Night", "Secret", etc."
Row 3: Blown Away, Abyss (Fécamp, Normandy: https://www.discogs.com/release/7544561-Abyss-Abyss), Crater, Chinadoll
Row 4: Sleaze Bugs, Impact (maybe this same band? - https://www.discogs.com/release/8705995 ... --Perhaps- )
Bottom row (row 5): Waterguns, Staccato (w/ https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... uin/152032 - see unlisted bands link for more info), Eyra (w/ https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... ard/460788 - see unlisted bands link for more info)

- image 2: https://imgur.com/a/Lys6kJ0
Row 1 (top row): -
Row 2: GMC
Row 3: Studs, (mystery band 1 - 4th tape over- *rma or *rmad as the last letters? Can't quite make out the name), mystery band 2 - they have 2 interesting-looking tapes in row 3. The name is something like Back Bayes (sp?), 99% sure that isn't the exact spelling. Maybe someone will know more by looking. One of their tapes looks like the title might be "Truce")
Row 4: Koria(?) - 2nd tape from the left. Malediction (doesn't seem to be one on the site), Winsor
Row 5: Open Fire, Escape (2 tapes on this line), Nameless (furthest to right)
Row 6: Crazy George (title is something like "The George Is ? to Pull on the ?"
Row 7 (bottom row): Nik (? - second from right), Lady's (tape on far right)

Never got a word back on this one. I know there's no owners, but that could be likely given the release nature. Still I'm not so knowledgeable with USSR, eastern bloc bands.

Devil Drowned: The band considers the three tacks on reverbnation a singular demo and can be downloaded. The only thing that's really holding me back is the lack of artwork attached. That's footnoted with the fact that on reverbnation there's artwork with the demo's title 'Void of Silence' on it. I think it's enough to submit overall.

I can't upload any more image on Imgur, so I just leave a link with a bunch of unknown bands or demos from Mexico:

https://scontent.fflr2-1.fna.fbcdn.net/ ... e=653940C0

Namely:

- Blasfemia: "Aquelarre" (same Blasfemia from Mexico City? or the band from Puebla?)
- Blasfemia (or Aquelarre?): Aquelarre (or Blasfemia?) from Puebla
- Alucard (I've seen this cover already but I can't remember where)
- Avatar: "Metal Fuerte" (same Avatar from Mexico City? Logo seems similar. Or the band from Tlalnepantla/El Rosario Azcapotzalco active between 1989-1991?)

+ the (supposedly) unreleased demo of Taskforce "Power Ambition" (which seems everything but unreleased), Silla Rodante "Noche diabolica" demo, Super Alfa live "En vivo en el Agora 1986"

Some info about Alucard (Mexico) taken from "Metalica" 'zine (Argentina, #4 of first - unknown - year)

https://scontent.fflr2-1.fna.fbcdn.net/ ... e=653A79E9

In the same page it's written that Abaddon (also from Mexico) actually started in 1978

Here, again the tape of Alucard:

Mostly from the '80s. A lot of these bands are on the site, but not all (Marauder, Crater, Evol, Asylum, etc. aren't.)
Owner of tapes/maybe would trade or help with information: https://www.facebook.com/antero.ahlund

If anyone would be kind enough to extract the bands not yet on MA, I could add them to the list.

Maniac Rockers From Hell: Mix of joke songs with no metal, and extremely rough sounding music quality. i guess it's metal? No idea if the quality is up to MA's standards though.
https://www.youtube.com/@sylvaindumais8773/videos

Manslaughter Project: Recorded an entire album and broke up before they could release it.
https://www.facebook.com/ManSlaughterProject/

Matante Mutante: Hardcore
https://music.apple.com/us/artist/matan ... /539933175

Mayhem of Sanity: Search doesn't turn much up of anything on reverb, apple, bandcamp, soundcloud. Probably didn't record anything. Facebook is dead. This channel has some live performances.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQrImkFIP2k

Meat Parade: There's... a breakbeat band from canada of the same name and from Montreal, like the list says. Problem is that the facebook is dead and I can't cross reference anything. I can only assume they're the same band based off the location. The genre's from Ondes Chocs have been all over the place and the listed genre for this band is just "Dark".

Mécanique du Vertige: Deathcore, will submit. Released an EP physically at shows.

Mononc' Serge: Quite a large discography that sounds primarily like rock. If someone wants to look through and see if an album is overwhelmingly metal, go ahead.

Myth: Not even a link on Ondes Chocs makes me think it was so shortlived it never made band pages of any sort. A generic name like that makes searches murky, but putting in keywords like the location and genre don't give me anything.

Also, and I hope I don't sound rude or unreasonable, but could users not submit bands I bring up here, I think are metal or borderline, and that I say I will submit or contemplate submitting? This has only happened about twice thankfully, but it's still time I spent looking into each band. For example, I brought up Hour of Defiance 4-5 days ago, commenting I would definitely submit it, and was about to submit it today, but someone beat me to it. That user can keep that submission, but going forward I'd appreciate it if band's i do research on are left to me. If i'm not going to submit something for whatever reason, I'll post it in the bands to be submitted thread. Once again, I hope that I'm not coming off as unreasonable. Thank you.

P.S. If there's a rule like the appeals thread, where the user that brings up the band gets a week or so to submit it, then it's free game, please let me know.

There were very few copies with cover art; usually in those years you simply took a reel or cassette and re-recorded it on it in a cassette store or from a friend.

Of course, it would be interesting to see this officially released, but after Sechko's death this is apparently no longer possible.
