SAC: Facebook links to someone in Finland. Hacked account? Either way, a search doesn't turn much up on music sites.

Saink: Metal and has an entire album on youtube. No mention of a CD or download, so i'll message for more info.
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... 7j8FWJSKIY

See Through Secrecy: Has a CD and it sounds decently metal from the two tracks I sampled, but the rest are not online. I doubt these two would be enough for submission, but if not please let me know.
https://www.discogs.com/release/7070312 ... ice-Inside

Selfish Implosions: Power Electronics/Noise
https://www.discogs.com/artist/1225070- ... Implosions
https://brisecul.bandcamp.com/album/a-v ... y-of-power

Shade of Sunburst: two tracks for purchase on reverbnation. I think this is their demo? Can't tell otherwise, as the facebook is dead.
https://www.reverbnation.com/shadeofsunburst/songs
https://www.quebecpunkscene.net/shadeofsunburst/

Shadow Influx: Metal but only two streaming tracks on reverb. Dead facebook.
https://www.reverbnation.com/shadowinflux

Sherkhan Bakhra: No mention of an album/demo/ep/cd on their facebook. Looks live only.
https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100064896241543

Silenced: This is a weird one. This band is listed as just 'Silenced', but the bandcamp page says 'Steeve Rock', and the album cover says 'Steeve Rock Sileneced'. Maybe this is a side project of Steeve Rock? Maybe the album is just called 'Silenced'? No idea how to submit this one. Metal though.
https://steeverock.bandcamp.com/album/silenced

Slaughter Season: Nothing. Dead facebook. Probably live only.

Shouldn't Devital be removed in this case? It says only one track was ever released.

Door-City sounds... not very metal. It's definitely the same band as the demo shares track titles with the album. Kinda sounds like a mix of experimental grindcore and ministry.

Nothing known beside these few notes and the music style

(Spooky) "Virtual Psychosis" demo '97 and "LSD 25" album '98. Band members at above link.

As far as I understand, the only thing lacking is samples?
If so, here you go: http://lsd-lida.narod.ru/pages_w/music.htm
Sounds metal enough. They're from Lida, a small town in Belarus.
Can be submitted.

Do you intend to submit?
Looks like it's in drafts already, so someone started the submission?
Done, with all infos taken from reviews, magazines, articles which are in the "press" section

Sherkhan Bakhra: Confirmed no VR.

Also I checked through the bands that begin with 'Q', and none of them have a discogs page.

Started going through this list.

A.B.M.: https://www.discogs.com/artist/12512068 ... dy-Mrdered (contains the same comp. appearance as in Spooky's post)

Acid: https://www.discogs.com/artist/7329004-Acid-34 (described as heavy metal)

After All: https://www.discogs.com/artist/3105083-AfterAll (progressive/alternative rock)

Aggressor: https://www.discogs.com/release/6037441 ... sor-Demo-1 (not exact match, but song titles & genre could hint they're the same band, so I decided to bring this up for further research)
(edit:Spooky - The Aggressor are on the site already, https://www.metal-archives.com/albums/T ... o_I/237678 )

Allied Nation: https://www.discogs.com/artist/4557843-Allied-Nation (AOR/hard rock) (ReverbNation page to confirm the match: https://www.reverbnation.com/alliednation)
(edit:Spooky - It's probably a different band that I'm looking for, with guitarist https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Mike_Reed/770078 )

Alpha Omega: https://www.discogs.com/artist/5922772-Alpha-Omega-16 (same as Aggressor, not sure if it's the same band, but according the pictures they're based in California, so might be helpful for further reseacrh)

Arise (US): https://www.discogs.com/artist/9952810-Arise-23

Asfixia: https://www.discogs.com/artist/2649253-Asfixia-2 (most likely this is the band in question, and it's hardcore) (YouTube link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=EXHllHCim1U)

It was originally listed on EM, then later removed as it was only a digital single. But I found a Japanese review of a CD version of the same demo (not on Discogs), so it did have a physical release as well.

That's very possible. I listed it here as it was described as Doom Metal by the seller, but only found the later CD today when looking for Discogs links. Grindcore is not really my scene, so happy to defer to others if you think its invalid.

By the way Miro, are you checking every band for discogs that may have one or just ones you are aware of? For example, did you check every band A-B for a page?

Regarding some of those Baldadeath bands, it would appear witcher linked many discogs related to those.

Bands 'A.L.I.C.E.' - 'Abolición' do NOT have discogs pages. Going forward I'll probably sit down for larger chunks than this, but I'm limited on time for tonight.

Needs research. - Hemmorage
Location: Illinois, US (Chicago or Elgin area, it seems)
"Freedom" studio track + "Warrior from Beyond" live (+ photos), uploaded by a former member:
https://youtu.be/Ov8omgjvNSI?si=SFYhw1fMyq5D2gjX
https://youtu.be/GM5i-tfjvsM?si=hBEp1wjTeY5mU1N0
Comments from uploader/band member: "We did record 2 demos, the first one that quality is really bad, the second is where this song came from. I don't really have the original demo anymore since it was on tape.."
"I will dig out the other songs from this demo and post them. This was all from 1985 or 86, not sure."
May have been uploaded by https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... sen/249893 (fb page in links), and/or had a tie to the band Stonehenge that there is a live video of also on that YT channel.

Yeah, I was going to check every single band. If I checked all the bands I'm aware of it wouldn't reduce the list that much to be honest.

I don't know, to me it sounds very much metal: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IdGXg56dXCU
The release is on discogs: https://www.discogs.com/release/24282044-Tornado-Apeman

Is it not a valid release or something else is wrong here?

Most of their stuff, including the Apeman EP are considered not metal enough. The Copenhagen demo is certainly thrash metal, but needs proof of valid release. It's included on a compilation, or at least one track from it, but most of that compilation is considered not metal enough or is already on the site under the moniker Red Dynamite.

Here's an appeal thread for Tornado:
viewtopic.php?f=27&t=140036

The fact is that one Red Dynamite album, "Invasion" has been recently re-released on CD under their original band name Tornado.... this is a typical case of "how can we fix it properly?"

I was referring to that re-release with bonus tracks. I shouldn't have called it a compilation. But I don't think there's anything to fix here. The re-release is listed under Other versions and mentions in the notes that it's under the moniker Tornado. Since it's a re-release, it doesn't warrant a separate band entry. Had it been a re-recording, it would make a separate band entry.

But I believe there needs to be proof of valid release of the undoubtedly thrash metal Copenhagen demo for Tornado to get it's own page.

BTW Should have mentioned I looked at all the Japanese bands (as that's where I'd know enough to tell if they're right band). So no Discogs entries for:

10372 Hi Voltage
1062 Hunter
1153 JΦZ
1250 Lucifer
10359 Mad Rocker
1523 Phantom
9653 Pledge
1742 Shelter
1965 Thrill
2003 Truth
2022 Tyrant
8782 Untitled
2103 Wild Beast
2201 瀧

4004 Orpheus - The Japanese 'Orpheus' does have a link here:
https://www.discogs.com/artist/3214236-Orpheus-27
It's uncertain if its the same band though, so I wasn't sure if you'd want to add it. The LP itself is almost always listed as Prog Rock.

Dies Irae: sounds more rock than metal from the songs on the discogs page. Here's a link to a full album.

I'm not asking anyone to do this because it would be another gargantuan task, but some of the bands that have a 'no' for discogs might be incorrect. I only bring this up because I was looking through the Bolivian bands and found a discogs for 'Comunidad' I believe. Rock/World Music

Slick Jesters: I think this is mostly a cover band? They have original tracks on reverbnation but I'm seeing a lot of flyers for Homages to classic rock and metal bands.
https://www.reverbnation.com/slickjesters
https://www.facebook.com/SlickJesters

Slugger: Hardcore.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kCLZFHupxQ

Soul Creation: Dead facebook. Found a track that sounds like it pulls more from hard/alt rock than metal to me.
https://soundcloud.com/soul-creation-mt ... ets%2Frock

Sound Prisoners: Teased a demo and ep. Not sure if the tracks here are the full thing.
https://soundcloud.com/erikbeland

Spermathron: Looks live only, nothing on most music sites. No mention of anything being recorded.
https://www.facebook.com/spermathron/photos

Spread Your Guts: Metal and has a demo, but it's streaming only. No VR.
https://soundcloud.com/spreadyourguts

Squidmilk: Uh, not metal based on bandcamp. Has an entire setlist worth of material but no indication it was ever recorded and released.
https://squidmilk.bandcamp.com/track/werewolf-astronaut
https://youtu.be/1tpsHXmCUYQ?si=SvfLyVho-18ujEWL

Standing on Oblivion: Borderline metalcore. Might submit.
https://standingonoblivion.bandcamp.com ... e-blackout

Stroke of Genius: Released an EP on CD. But no samples I can find. Will ask for more info.

False Flag Heroes: Had a CD with 4 tracks for an EP. Those tracks are all on reverb, but which ones they are I don't know. So it's just a matter of whether it's metal now.

Not metal.

Lullaby has definite metal moments but it's broken up by large ambient wandering and rock-isms. Not sure it's overwhelmingly metal.

Yeah that was pointed out in the original post too. They've also released a demo called "...Dying" which may be more metal.

This is going off the linked discogs.

Deliria: This is a different Deliria going off the poster. The discogs page is for the listed Deliria from Calabria, already on the site.

I returned to this and noticed it's most likely a different band. Yeah, it's on the same page as the listed one, but it wouldn't be the first time when this happens. I don't know if Discogs could be marked with "yes" since it's shared with a listed band.

Here's some proof, it says the album was recorded in 1992 and line-up seems to be different compared to the listed one.

Marilyn: https://www.discogs.com/artist/10033468-Marilyn-32

Master: https://www.discogs.com/artist/2101691-Master-8 (not sure if it's the same band, but dropping this for further research)

Meridian (Tur): https://www.discogs.com/artist/3787887-Meridian-24 (progressive rock)

Midnight: https://www.discogs.com/artist/10906846-Midnight-44 (could be this one)

Mink: https://www.discogs.com/artist/3606900-Mink-12 (funk)

Mirror: https://www.discogs.com/artist/2915488-Mirror-16 (album 'Dead by Done' includes samples)

Mob Ape: https://www.discogs.com/artist/1370122-Mob-Ape (listed as thrash metal/hardcore)

Monolith: https://www.discogs.com/artist/2786375-Monolith-20 (could be this one)

Mortaja (Arg): https://www.discogs.com/artist/9423391-MORTAJA (already on the site under moniker 'M.O.R.T.A.J.A.')

Mugshot: https://www.discogs.com/artist/12789809-Mugshot-15

I also checked earlier all the bands with a number as a first letter and none of them had a Discogs page.

The country for Midnight on the research list can be changed to UK (Discogs has it wrong). Should be worth keeping on the list despite what they have listed as the genre. One of the members is on FB.

That link and the one that Miro found for Discogs have been added to the original post.

Arise (Missouri, US) can now be submitted for music assessment with the finding of their tape on Discogs (since full audio is available). Have added to 'bands to be submitted,' and can be removed from the list.
