3 xtian bands that are on the 1992 "Crusade Compilation Volume 1" tape. The bands are from the Kansas City, Missouri/Kansas area. Haven't listened to them, but the descriptions here sound promising) - https://christiantapeunderground.wordpr ... ag/outcry/
https://heavymetalrarities.com/forum/vi ... #gsc.tab=0

Colombian band Endor released their album 'Grabado En La Piel' on CD, and can be downloaded on reverbnation. Will submit.
https://www.facebook.com/profile/100001 ... 0La%20Piel
https://www.reverbnation.com/endor2/songs

Engine of Aries: Demo on soundclick. No idea if this is VR. sounds metal I suppose, but a lot of technical progressive chugging.
https://www.soundclick.com/artist/defau ... tent=songs

Eskizolepsia: Full EP here. There's renders of a back cover (which could just be a mock up), and a CDList? Whatever that is, it mentions this on CD.

I talked to some people, and this band formed in 2000-ish and released a demo EP in 2002/2003 as well.

Needs research. - Wildfire (UK)
Genre: NWOBHM
viewtopic.php?f=27&t=140525&p=3124916#p3124916
(All necessary info can be found at the link above. Since I think there's only one song available for streaming (in the excellent vein of White Spirit and Rainbow) other than their compilation track, which was released previously under the name Red Alert, it's likely that more tracks will be needed for their addition. I don't own the CD yet, but eventually will. Maybe someone else will acquire the music sooner.)
THE NEXT BAND (pre-Red Alert) also have 4 songs on the disc, and could be assessed for their own potential entry to the site.

Hi guys, I have three metal bands that needs some researches but that are possible additions:

Needs research. - Reis
Genre: Black Metal
Country: Italy

This band released one demo cd-r this year, but is impossible to find any information in internet, except from one post of Wine & Fog Productions. https://www.facebook.com/events/1346002343020366?post_id=1369845193969414&view=permalink In this post Ezio of Wine and Fog says that are available copies of the first demo cd-r of this band, titled Castrum, saying that is old-style black metal. There also pics of the demo, so it seems 100% legitimate, but samples are missing.

Needs research. - Elemiah
Genre: Black Metal
Country: Unknown

This is an unknown BM band (different from the Elemiah already in the archive) that released one black metal demo in 2004. Nothing can be found about them in Internet, except from a metalarea.org (https://metalarea.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=157673&hl=elemiah) and last.fm page. The demo probably was digital, but is 30 minutes long and undoubtely black metal, so this band may be legitimate. Here you can find it. https://file.io/3iwNpGa26wRs

Needs research. - Bärgäth
Genre: Death Metal
Country: Unknown

The third is very very very hard! Bärgäth released one demo, year unknown, but probably 2003/2004 called Epäpyhä Sota. Style death metal, with one Black Sabbath cover. Problem is there is no info anywhere and i don't find the digital demo anywhere (i tried with soulseek). I used to have it on my digital collection, but i lost it. Only info is the Last.fm page (I0ve scrobbled them in the past, the shouts are mine). https://www.last.fm/music/B%C3%A4rg%C3%A4th

Here's one Finnish page that can be used for further research of Finnish metal bands. Just fill the third blank space with 'metal' and it reveals a list of metal bands. By marking those little boxes it's possible to separate the entries with band pictures, music samples and video material.

The "Re" part of the name Re-Bastard seems to refer to the band Bastards ( http://eme.erocnet.com/eme/band/bastards ) (1999-2000 - one release), that both members (along with 2 others - changing bassists from 1999 to 2000 - the first being https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... ran/975720 , later of Prosperity, listed above) were involved with.
Both Re-Bastard members went on to https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/He ... 3540397344
It always helps to improve the chances of the band getting onto the site to add potential addition band info onto the site - linking info for it on the involved member artist pages, and including an unlisted band link. Some people may be able to easily get more information or the music from these bands, and could be made aware of their existence by finding mention of it on the main site.
Prosperity (with 2 https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Co ... 3540517219 members) can also have a 'not to be confused with' note added. I took care of this stuff, and added some links in your posts to artists on the site listed for these bands.

Could I get some additional input on Silenced, please? There's definitely enough to submit, it's just a matter of how it should be labeled.

Stryxvirii: Streaming only on Soundclick. Two tracks have their own artwork (even if it's pretty lazy) and are downloadable, but one is almost entirely electronic with metal moments. Probably not enough for VR.
https://www.soundclick.com/stryxvirii/?content=songs

Sudden Closure: Just two tracks on bandcamp with identical art. No vr.
https://suddenclosure.bandcamp.com/track/thirst-to-ride

Sudden Spawn: Metal demo on bandcamp. Will submit.
https://suddenspawn.bandcamp.com/album/demo

Sufferize: Slam/Deathcore. Chuggy, but i think 'Calamity' is metal enough. Will submit.
https://sufferize.bandcamp.com/album/calamity

Sun of Blood: Lots of mentions of recorded material but it's all been deleted. Will message for details, but no VR as of now.
https://www.facebook.com/FrankDube2019/

Sunday Bastards: Mix of metal, punk, and rock. I think it's more of the latter than the former. If someone wants to take this one, they can.
https://sundaybastards.bandcamp.com/album/demo

Swarm of Instinct: I think this is a misspelling of 'Swarm of Extinct". This is what the dead facebook link has in the URL. Probably a shortlived, live only project.

Swear to Me: Djent/Chugcore.
https://sweartome.bandcamp.com/track/introduction

Sykode: Extreme Prog Metal/Hardcore. Metal and will submit.

The listed band Warhead is the last one in the list. The thrash guide mentions a 2000 EP, and track title 'Wartorn'. Thanks to buriedunborn's new list. I was able to cross reference this EP's tracklist, the member (Nick Warhead), and the guide. The band's discography is largely lost at the moment, so it makes sense that this would be as well.

Waranfo: Regarding this band, TMG mentions that 2 of the 4 songs are covers. Does a half original live album even constitute VR?

Sun of Blood: I'm in contact with one of the members and he said he'd give me more details.

Needs research. - Удар (Russia)
Origin: Bryansk, Bryansk Oblast' (Russia)
Genre: Heavy Metal, some speed metal here and there
Active: 1987-1993
Discography:
- "Чёрный снег" (demo, 1987 or 1989)
- "Голос надежды" (demo, 1993)
- "Чёрный снег / Голос надежды" (CD, 2023, GS Production)

One of the many Удар from Russia (not to be confused with Удар already listed on MA or with another Удар from Kirovsk (Leningradskaya Oblast' active from 1986 and who released the demo "Дайте свет!" in 1987 which we need to find also)

They have released 2 demos (as usual, I'm 99,999% sure as magnitoalbum even if the demo 1993 could be released on tape) now both gathered on a CD compilation recently made by GS Productions

Can't find any exact info about the first demo.... on the CD reissue it's written 1987 but other sources say 1989.
The first demo sees the drummer playing vocals as well (in the credit list is listed a 4th member but it's just the sound engeneer) while in the second demo (or "album") from 1993 there's a change in line-up but I can't read well:

The full album is available at GS Productions bandcamp and the CD is already pressed and available but before submitting it I would like to fill the missing details (exact year of recording of the first demo which I'0m sure can be found on the inner booklet of the cd) and whether the second album was released on tape being from 1993:

https://gsproduction.bandcamp.com/album/--32
https://vk.com/gsplabel?z=photo-1748704 ... 33499_4505
https://vk.com/gsplabel?z=photo-5833349 ... 33499_4325

Needs research. - Удар (Russia)
Origin: Kirovs, Leningradskaya Oblast' (Russia)
Genre: Heavy Metal (?)
Active: 1986-?
Discography: Дайте свет! (Demo, 1987)

another Удар, this time from nearby Saint Peterburg. They released one demo (magnitoalbum?) in 1987. There are a few more info but just one song floating on YT which is not really metal (more hard rock) but I wonder if other songs can be better.

https://gruppasssr.ru/U/udark.html
https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=PLtHEUTri50

There are a few other bands on GS Productions Bandcamp which may deserve a listen in order to see whether they can be added. For example Чёрный Принц , Каскад, Королевская Охота, Ольга Рожнова (including the album released with Вояж) and in the future there will be a hell of other re-releases announced both digitally and on CD that could reserve lot of surprises and unknown bands

- Came across a flyer of this band for a February 1990 show ( https://imgur.com/a/q1XI5xq ). Stylistically, they "wanted to be Testament", according to an interview with member Lee McNamara. Discography unknown.
Needs research. - Satyr
- played the same show that the flyer above is for. While Purple Halocaust was mentioned to be a punk band and Malicious Intent are the pre-Morbid Truth band that probably did their 1990 demo after the name change, these 2 could use some more research. Maybe someone here would know more: https://www.facebook.com/11813807155257 ... 13/?type=3

It should be fine with the name Silenced. I checked again today and noticed that Steve's name is up there by the logo, small, and it wouldn't be a bad idea to add it as an alternate spelling. He refers to the band as Silenced in the bio here: https://www.reverbnation.com/steeverock . The moderators that check the submission can edit the name if they think that it should be changed (may want to include a note about it). Sounds metal, though, and should be submitted.

Alliance – Buccaneer. This youtube has 5/6 tracks from the tape, plus some others. From the tape it sounds borderline, more towards rock like Guns N Roses.

https://ancestralnightsrecords.bandcamp ... /demo-1994 I am quite convinced this is pretty much a bootleg label, so I need a valid proof of release.

Hi, I can give my contribution adding this band. This Goat Throne was an italian Black Metal band from the Turin area that released a couple of demos in the first years of the 90s, including the demo 1994 before mentioned. Here you can find one of the demo
Wine & Fog Productions is going to re-release some of their material https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=pfbid0tsf7jRW1e4UhueEqfGcCtxM31ZUWxCKE714JpuVujFpXp1caqyVv3L44ChfZAFBbl&id=100065581119148

notes from Facebook:

"The project Goat Throne " Born in 1992 " from the twisted mind of " Exume " in March 1993 the first work is released ; a Rehearsal tape titled " The Church of Hate " of which the genre released was : Pure Fucking Evil Black Metal Noise music for true lovers of the genre evil , black metal noise . In February 1994 Goat throne returned with the second work of which the tape entitled " Demo ' 94 " was released . In 1995 black metal began to be no longer a way of life as it was lived in the early 90's began to arrive already many other bands with products much more excellent than Goat throne and for various reasons early 1995 I disbanded the project . This is the short history of Goat throne .

That's ok, you probably just didn't provide proof of the existence of a physical release.

Discography: There's a dubbed 5-song demo tape from 2001 being sold on eBay. Not sure if it was released officially. Track listing: Son of a Warrior/ Wasting Away/ Wolves of Woden/ Hell Star/ Rain. The lineup listed above is who played on this particular tape.

BENTORD were added to the site today, and can be removed from the list.

ALLIANCE has some heavy metal and some rock songs. A bit of new information about them is that they were from Virginia originally, and relocated to California.

I just realized that the video on Deliria's page is probably not the album. It's a live show, but it's long enough sample wise to be sufficient for submission, no?

Sounded like it had enough melodeath type riffs to me, but I can't find much info on the band or anything about this EP having a valid release.

Found some more information on this one,

The band is from Ohio and I found the release I had linked (the YouTube link no longer works) on archive.org. Not sure if this is enough information to submit them though.
