I think Testifier from Ondes Chocs can be removed. I posted info about the band in the 'to be submitted' forum and VoiceOfSteel also felt the that the repetitive artwork caused the band to be lacking VR. I had also mentioned that the band had very borderline sounding music. If someone wants to see for themselves, they can look in the other thread.

The End of Gallia: Sounds more like post-rock to my ears, but this is yet another genre I'm unfamiliar with. There's defitnietly metal in here, but it's muddied by a lot of acoustic interludes and rock. A second opinion would be appreciated.
https://theendofgallia.bandcamp.com/alb ... -beginning

The Last Dawn: Borderline deathcore that both riffs and chugs. Band has two singles on youtube. Even if the music is acceptable, there's no place to download it that I can find.
https://www.youtube.com/@betweenmetalan ... ast%20dawn

The Lost Skulls: Rock
https://thelostskulls.bandcamp.com/albu ... -nasty-rnr

The Plague of Silence: No mention of an ep/album/demo/CD on their facebook. Probably never recorded and was live only.
https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063798084488

The Poor Generation: Death Metal with one single on youtube. No VR.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3fb12sy7qk

The Prestige: Sounds more core than metal.
https://music.apple.com/us/album/ecotone/1546249595

The Result: No mention of any VR on the facebook. Some music on the page, but no mention of where to download/buy it, if possible.
https://www.facebook.com/10006701486008 ... 0486453566

The Saints are Gone: Barebones facebook page, and some tracks on reverb. Borderline due to there being plenty of breakdowns. Only two can be downloaded and there's no art to go along with them.
https://www.reverbnation.com/thesaintsaregone

The Superstitions: Yet more borderline music. Band started off as an indie rock outfit, but now plays a fusion of metal/punk/rock. I'm not convinced by it.

Three of Us: Rock

Throne of Sorrow: Could only find a single demo track for download on soundcloud.
https://soundcloud.com/thieuuu

Through Death: Confirmed to have released a 5 track ep on CD. I'd submit the convo i had with the band but I'm on my other computer and don't have access to imgur at the moment. Will submit when I get the chance.

https://www.youtube.com/@DrummerAlex142 ... gh%20death

Through the Eyes of a Damned: Dead facebook, and not much on a google search. With such a rather unique, you'd think it would show more but nope.

Tork: Sounds like nu-metal from clips on facebook.
https://www.facebook.com/10006357996733 ... 9920656190

Toward Chaos: Some metal tracks on reverb, but only one for download.
https://www.reverbnation.com/towardchaos

Travel Goes Wrong: Chuggy and djenty deathcore. Likely no VR. Dead facebook.
https://www.youtube.com/@FizzStudio

Truth Behold: Chuggy deathcore on the unacceptable side.

Slotth (Alabama, US) can be removed - verified from a band member that no CDs were released, and nothing seems to have been released officially digitally.

Should not 'Openyourmind' be removed for lack of VR? All of the tracks share artwork.

Psychotic Delusion can also be removed. Has a bandcamp and the tracks aren't very metal.

More info about R.A.S. (Ger) from the Neseblod list, who did the "Sackratte" demo. One source says that they formed in early 1985, another says that they formed in mid-1986. They were from Karlsruhe, and their name stands for Rock n Roll and Sex. In addition to 1987's "Sackratte", they released an earlier tape, "Tittenfick" in 1985 or '86. Contact name: Ralf Heiss (who is probably drummer/vocalist "Ralle"). Rest of lineup: Devil (bass), Grüner (guitar). Early photo shows a 4th member, name unknown.
Review in "Metal Warriors" #4 'zine (1987) - https://imgur.com/a/vFFBbfI
Band photo - https://imgur.com/a/AQ6IqLm
"Sackratte" demo on Discogs, again: https://www.discogs.com/release/8605862 ... ckratte-87
As mentioned in the interview, they were slated to be on a compilation (must be this one, since it has all 3 of the other bands mentioned that would be on it and from the same year: https://www.discogs.com/release/2788451 ... f-Darkness ). I looked through all of the bands, and none seem to be a name change, so maybe they split up or got dropped from it for whatever reason.

I kind of lost track with the Discogs list; which bands here can be marked with a "no" and which with a "yes"?

Necropolis (UK) and BloodStone (US) have been added, and can be removed from the list.

Thanks for posting those 'Remainder' songs from YouTube. I'll add that link to the original post for now, because there's probably not enough that a conclusion can be drawn from them.

Needs research. - Silent Scream
Location: Turkey
- mentioned above, this doesn't seem to be the one that Baldadeath posted about that did a 1991 demo. It could have its own entry here.
https://www.discogs.com/release/1140768 ... -The-Night
Here's some more information:
https://www.underground-empire.com/review.php?idx=2569
(translated from German) "...before this can really become loud, a lot still has to happen. As cool as some riff breaks may be, SILENT SCREAM's songs are still completely immature, and singer Ilhan Bayram in particular misses the right note much more often than he hits it."
(archive of their old website:
https://web.archive.org/web/20050206172 ... scream.tk/
Selçuk Tanrıkulu (guitars, vocals)
Olcay Tanrıkulu (guitars)
Tunçsel Ülkü (drums)
Görkem Gürdoğan (drums - joined after the EP. Also plays/played in the band Serpent)
İlhan Bayram (vocals)
Mert Fırıncıoğlu (bass - had quit briefly, but then returned)
Translated bio (original text here: https://web.archive.org/web/20050206172 ... scream.tk/ ) -
Spoiler: show
Founded in 2000 by guitarist Selçuk Tanrıkulu and vocalist İlhan Bayram, the band "Stormrider" started its musical activities with the addition of Nejdan Yıldız on bass guitar, Can Çolak on guitar and Emrah Canayakın on drums. The band, whose members all attend the same school, performed covers of Iron Maiden, Iced Earth, Demons and Wizard. The group, which gave an open-air concert in the garden of the school on the last day of school in 2001, was planning to start composing with the start of summer vacation. The group members who gathered in the summer were divided into two as a result of the materials they produced were different from each other. Thereupon, İlhan Bayram and Can Çolak left the group and founded Gold Silence. Stormrider gathered again to give a concert in Laylaylom in October and they disbanded again after the concert. The other members of the band, who started looking for a new vocalist and guitarist, continued their work for a few months. As a result of a disagreement, Nejdan Yıldız joined Gold Silence. Thereupon, Selçuk Tanrıkulu disbanded the band and pressed the button to form a new band. He included Emrah Canayakın on the drums and Olcay Tanrıkulu from the same school on the solo guitar. Emrah Canayakın's classmate Mert Fırıncıoğlu joined the band as the bass guitarist. The year was 2002. and Selçuk Tanrıkulu named the band Silent Scream. The search for a vocalist was unsuccessful, and the band continued with cover and composition works. In the last months of 2002, Emrah Canayakın stopped playing drums and decided to become a guitarist, and was removed from the band by Selçuk Tanrıkulu. The drummer seat vacated by him was taken over by Selçuk Canayakın. Tunçsel Ülkü, his friend from Bahçeşehir, sat in. The group continued to work with this line-up, but they could not find a vocalist. In 2003, Selçuk Tanrıkulu's very close friend İlhan Bayram conveyed his desire to help Selçuk with the vocals. And the lead vocalist was determined as İlhan Bayram. Silent. The Scream group was doing regular studio work, but since İlhan Bayram was studying out of town, he could not make a single. At that time, Emrah Canayakın was helping the group with vocals. They gave a concert at Kocaeli University in the spring. Due to İlhan Bayram being ill, he was on vocals. Emrah Canayakın took part. After the concert, Mert Fırıncıoğlu left the band and joined Emrah Canayakın's group. Nejdan Yıldız was taken as a session member to replace Mert's vacancy. The band continued its rehearsals with this lineup and gave an open-air concert at the Bahçeşehir Fall Festival at the beginning of the summer. Following the concert. The group, which continued its work in the summer, started demo recording in September after the compositions were completed. As a result of unforeseen setbacks, the demo recording, which was planned to be completed in a month, could only be completed in early February. After the recording, İlhan Bayram announced that he could not concentrate 100% on Silent Scream because of Gold Silence. Tunçsel Ülkü was serious. He said that he would not play drums in the sense of the word, but he did not want to leave the band and was appointed as the new vocalist. Görkem Gürdoğan from the band Serpent was chosen to play the drums. Mert Fırıncıoğlu returned to the bass guitar, thus completing the Silent Scream line-up. The band started new compositions and concert works.

Most of bands like Deep Scream (Turkey), S.A.D. (Turkey), Scabbard (Nepal) never shared anything on internet, so it's impossible to say "yes" or "not" if there is nothing floating around

Youtube has the full Infinitia demo. Mix of thrash metal and hardcore. Will probably submit.

Under A Dying Sky: Had an ep on itunes but it's been delisted. Probably a bit too alternative anyway.

Unveil the Truth: Has a bandcamp with two singles, one metal, the other not. Has more tracks on soundcloud, but they cannot be downloaded.

Vigilant: Alt Rock.

Vulvopium: Describes themselves as Nu-Metalcore. Had a demo they sold at shows. Doesn't sound overtly metal, but I could be mistaken.

Here's the full Sunki Vasara reel-to-reel. Neat music, but not very metal to my ears.

Krakatit have a song on a compilation Lp: one of the two songs from the digital (unofficial) release comes from there. The cover on YT was just made by the guy of Heavy Metal From Eastern Bloc, as usual.

Mentharas (from Jasin, Melaka, Malaysia):
their demo has 6 songs, each one with title. Somebody may have taken the only picture floating around (the tape is on sale on Carousell) and - as it's in very bad condition and most of the titles are cut or unreadable, somebody (as usual) cut it short just listing them as "untitled" on Discogs. First song is titled "C.F./F.T.", second song is partially titled "Sidratul..", third song is "The Des...", fourth song is "Ingkah Is..", sixth song is "Adikadr..." and last song is "Thy Sto..."
Anyway, the rehearsal videos on YT should be theirs as I remember while living in Malaysia I made frinendship with one guy who told me about them, some years ago. The demo was recorded in the town of Melaka. Anyway the inaccuracy of Discogs strikes again with cheap and fast submissions without proper researches.

Атлас: (ex Земляне): the CD reissue is quite easy to find as well as finding the full album for listening. There is not a first CD edition with 8 songs and a second one with 14 songs. They all have 14 songs. Once again, info on Discogs are random. Anyway it's prog rock-art rock

I spoke with the Eastern Bloc channel on Facebook and they told me that the '440 Herz' S/t effectively had no valid distribution. Copies existed but solely for purposes of the band. Krakatit also saw no release besides that compilation and the youtube upload.

Decrepitation from Canada can also be removed. They're about to release a three track EP on the 15th. I intend to submit it when it releases.

Eternal Death (Greece) has a Discogs entry (though both listings are for compilation appearances only). It is known that they released a demo that was available for $5. Still no samples or review found.

Dancing Dead: Has a bandcamp. The tracks I believe are from what the band considers a three track EP. They don't have any art on bandcamp, but do on youtube and reverbnation. If this is valid enough to submit, please let me know.
https://dancingdead.bandcamp.com/track/ ... d-memories
https://www.reverbnation.com/dancingdead
https://www.youtube.com/@DANCINGDEADqc

Deadly Revenge: Was planning to release their album on CD, but it doesn't look like that happened, as there's only one mention on their facebook. They read my DM but never responded.
https://www.facebook.com/profile/100063 ... ch/?q=demo

Defy the Crown: Did a deeper search on their facebook. No mention of an album/ep/demo/CD. Most likely no VR.

Dilem: Released a demo jam session on CD. Tracks are the same as the reverbnation. Will Submit later.

https://www.reverbnation.com/dilemband/songs
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSkbfoYeM-Y

Disinclined: Has members Laurent Bellemare, Laurent Viau-Lapointe and Pascal Rivard. All members are or were in the band Tribunal. Like I said there are just two songs with only one having unique art, so it likely doesn't qualify.

Along the Wires: Never released anything. They mention specifically that they don't have CDs or a demo recorded and broke up. You'll need to translate the comments of their posts for this info.
https://www.facebook.com/profile/100063 ... ch/?q=demo
https://www.facebook.com/profile/100063 ... earch?q=cd

Codex: Clepsydra: Spoke with the facebook and they mentioned they broke up before they could've released an ep/album/demo. No VR.

Cerberia: Missed the bandcamp when I first looked at this band. The two tracks on bandcamp are considered to be one EP, with the facebook mentioning a CD.

Engine of Creation: The band had a 3 track 2013 demo on bandcamp, but it was since delisted. I think some of the tracks on reverb are from this demo.

Cassandra (UK) -
https://www.discogs.com/release/1798644 ... -Cassandra
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TOIdAH2r54 - I noticed that this is not on the site, and isn't any longer in the queue (I think TheGrimWombat put it through), and that the YouTube video is private now. At the time that it was placed in here it wasn't a private video, and I listened to the several minutes of music featured in the video - this is totally the kind of heavy metal that should be on the site, a no-brainer kind of addition. Please resubmit with this note. They definitely belong on M.A. Can only imagine that having the video being changed to private is the reason it got rejected.

Thanks, Azmodes! Edit: Dancing Dead sounds way too rock to be metal.

Unveil The Truth: Spoke with the facebook. The soundcloud is their only other place to listen to their music. No VR.

Aeons of Twilight: Spoke with this band as well. They had two demos, neither of which the band had access to. In fact, the live footage they linked me they said was the "best I was getting". Meaning this music is very likely nowhere on the internet.

Waking from Oblivion: Album Exists on CD. Borderline metalcore with alt rock leanings.
https://youtu.be/R78aSuCww_o?si=HswJzwBBBLdRZw-R
https://www.facebook.com/profile/100063 ... arch/?q=cd

Walk with Lions: Two bands on bandcamp with the exact same name are NOT this band. Great. The linked facebook on the ondes chocs page is for a band called 'For Your Own Good'. A search for the old name doesn't bring anything up. EDIT: Yeah it's a screw up.

Wanderlost: Released an an EP on CD. One track on bandcamp.
https://iamwanderlost.bandcamp.com/track/blinded-torn
https://www.facebook.com/profile/100064 ... arch/?q=ep

Wasted Legacy: Heavy Metal/Hard Rock. Will submit.
https://wastedlegacy.bandcamp.com/album ... egacy-demo

Wastelands: Sounds more core than metal.
https://wastelandsbandqc.bandcamp.com/a ... -landscape
https://music.apple.com/us/album/these- ... 1499274013

Watcher: Dead facebook. this link mentions a two song demo on the (probably delisted) bandcamp page that were available for download. Ideally, if the other track is found it would be enough to submit based on this info.
https://youtu.be/WIMwwcXVLdk?si=u1MCSNksfhsPYtel
https://www.saitenkult.de/2014/08/15/watcher-s-t/
https://www.discogs.com/release/6268334 ... Eavy-Vol-1

We All Rise: Post-Hardcore
https://weallrise.bandcamp.com/album/ep-2013

We are the Suffering: Not much turns up in a search. Dead facebook.

White Fox Society: Not Metal.
https://music.apple.com/us/album/until- ... 1303568466

Windpisser: Decent enough stoner/doom metal. Will prob submit.
https://windpisserr.bandcamp.com/album/demo

Withering Curse: Two albums and an EP. None of which i can find a lot of samples on.
https://www.discogs.com/release/5607642 ... dnight-Sun
https://rateyourmusic.com/artist/withering_curse
https://www.youtube.com/@WitheringCurseVideos

Wrath of Olympus: Released an EP on CD, which i think all the bandcamp tracks are from. Need to sit on the metalness of this one.
https://wrathofolympus.bandcamp.com/music
https://www.facebook.com/WrathOfOlympus

And that's Ondes Chocs! I still need to audit the Quebec list like I did for the first list, comb over the more borderline bands again.
