You and Miro should be presented medals for your work in here this year, haha. Killing it.

I give it up to the bands on facebook! Big resource and a lot of helpful individuals pointing me in the right direction and providing resources. Case in point: Wanderlost just sent me their three track ep only available at live shows. Will submit when I have access to my other computer again.

Yeah, it's always cool when they're helpful and especially when they send their music over instead of speaking in riddles or acting pompous when you have a genuine interest in something that they were a part of.

Needs research. - Face Your Underground compilation series bands
- Belgian bands, mostly Death Metal. Just entered in vol. 11 on the site, and came across a couple of bands that could have been added had their demos been released in a way that is valid by the site's definition. At least 24 volumes of this series exist. Only some have been entered in on the site so far. Would probably be worth checking them for unlisted bands. Several, but not all can be found on Discogs:
https://www.discogs.com/label/1329677-F ... nderground
Shouldn't be too difficult to find the others somewhere online, since they're all relatively recent (the oldest one not listed there is from 2016)

So far, the first 6 and vol. 11 have been entered in. Volumes 1-5 haven't been checked for unlisted bands, though.

Split with Plague Thy Child who I have submitted.

Wouldn't be shocked if it was a similar style.

Has been submitted. - Mono No Aware
Spoiler: show
Location: US
- some of their releases are incorrectly placed on the band page of Thumos (significantly different than Mono No Aware). If metal and if there are valid releases, they should be given their own page. If not, the releases should be deleted and mentioned in additional notes/bio section of the Thumos page.

@Miro: Before I add anything from your list that is not tagged with a metal genre, I'd prefer having them at least confirmed to be metal. If there aren't any samples for blatant non-metal genres, and we have no reason to assume the tagging is super off, let's not waste our time with them.

Regarding Mono No Aware (2 posts above), here is some of their music. Shouldn't really be much research to do - it is a matter of whether or not this material is metal (haven't listened):

Thanks for reminding. Yesterday I was just checking all the unlisted bands for further research. I'll check now all non-metal bands.

Voidwork: ambient.

https://voidwork.bandcamp.com

Permanent Death: noise.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ja8BGZE5hMs&t=120s

Visions of War: not very familiar with this genre, leaning to punk side in my opinion.

https://visionsofwar.bandcamp.com

Kingterror: hardcore punk.

https://kingterror.bandcamp.com

Ulrike's Dream: has some metal moments, but still too punk.

https://open.spotify.com/artist/2zUwTUnqtMEbiSgsPofXRY

Bite Down: hardcore punk.

https://bitedown.bandcamp.com

My Aim: unacceptable metalcore to my ears.

https://open.spotify.com/artist/4RXhm832oq3QK7VfJwwdww

Badder: hardcore punk.

https://badder.bandcamp.com

I the Exploder: stoner rock.

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=O ... QweLc69R0w

Silver Bullet Machine: alternative rock.

https://soundcloud.com/silver-bullet-machine/sets/ep-1

Moonsurface: stoner rock.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9LklX9gMiAs

This Can Hurt: industrial/gothic rock.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1oobTLQusuw

Haemers: hardcore punk.

https://haemers.bandcamp.com

Days of Depths: ambient.

https://www.reverbnation.com/daysofdepths

So yeah, all these could be wiped off.

The band Collusion of Dishonest Purpose (C.O.D.P.) now has a Discogs entry. Their alt. title on the main list has the first word listed as Collision, but it's Collusion.

You might also want to check bands tagged with 'metal' on the Face Your Underground list. 'The Evil Pony's' for example says metal but is just rock.

Regarding Sun of Blood, I was sent the full demo (which was never released I believe) and it sounds like a mix of punk rock and metal, leaning towards punk.

Yeah I've learned some Discogs tags are quite misleading like in this case. In some cases they might be good to give some sort of first impression of the band but still they're not to be trusted blindly.

Overcome the Juggernaut: Some live footage. Sounds like it was probably more core than metal, but in all actuality they probably never recorded anything.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9i3Muaw_xU

Oxydus: Channel with one cover track
https://www.youtube.com/@OxydusOfficial/featured

Project Versus: Recorded an album and released on cd in 2009 titled "Welcome Down to Earth". Combined with the tracks on reverb, it's probably enough or close to enough to submit. Yay, nay?

Propane: Considering all three tracks on bandcamp were released on the same day, I think it's sage to assume it's a single EP. It was referred to as such on facebook. This might be moot now though, as I'm starting to lean towards the the music is rock more than metal.

Needs research. - Skull Krusher / Addictive Suicide
Location: Los Angeles, California, US
Genre: Thrash Metal
Members: John Romans (vocals - https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... ans/213954 ), Mark Metcalf (guitars - also played in Death Valley Meth Lab (DVML) and BloodFist), Rick Babayan (drums), Rich Doll (bass). One of these 4 members seems to go by the artist name Spazmoid Dickie (also guitarist of Black Flame 13 and Reseda Groove Clinic).
Discography: Skull Krusher did this 4-song demo. Slightly more than just handwritten titles, there is a logo stamp used as well. Could use some confirmation of release/distribution. Year unknown, track listing: Lines of White/ Life Is an Illusion/ Vicious Cycle/ Gates of Insanity - https://imgur.com/a/OcUWtbu , https://www.ebay.com/itm/225863352127
- changed their name to Addictive Suicide in the 2010s (in August 2011, said they'd been together for almost a year. Not sure if that counts time that they were called Skull Krusher. Last FB post in 2015.

Band members: Mark Metcalf (bass - also of Addictive Suicide and Death Valley Meth Lab (DVML)), Wes Lee Duncan (Vocals/Guitars), Avi Zvi (drums - https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/Avi_Zvi/928163 )
- active since at least 2016. As of June 2023 were looking for a vocalist to record on a 5-song demo on which the instruments have been recorded. Not sure if they had an earlier recording/release.

Needs research. - Takker
Location: Odessa, Texas, US
Genre: Heavy Metal (?)
Band members: Ricky Takker (guitars), Danny Williams (vocals - maybe this guy, considering the DLR jump in the live photo: https://dwcmap.com/our-story ), Efren Chavez (bass - had played in the Odessa, TX band Vision in 1987, which included Brian Cole, Alan Bailey and Richard Tedford (R.I.P.) - possibly same person as Ricky Takker), https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... ston/15486 (drums). It sounds like they had a drummer prior to Eddie also.
Discography: Unknown
https://imgur.com/a/zwm3l2i (article is from 1988)
- members wearing Helloween and Savatage shirts are a good sign.

Good news about a band active in this thread, B.F. Raid - they put 2 1983 demo tracks out as digital singles. Should be an easy accept (just posted about it for someone to submit). Can be removed once they're on the site.
https://bfraid.bandcamp.com/

BTW - The 6 pages of this thread may be worth looking through both for unlisted bands with a digital release, and for links to the Bandcamp page for existing bands on M.A.: https://heavymetalrarities.com/forum/vi ... 124&t=4364
That's where I found the link for B.F. Raid's Bandcamp.

Rectuum: I'm 99% sure there's no VR. The band has two facebook pages and neither make mention of a cd/album/demo/ep, and live only. The tracks on reverb can be downloaded but all have no art.

Shade of Sunburst: According to this biography their demo was available for sale for $5. Was 4 tracks. I think this is enough to submit.

Sixth Sense (New York, US) can be removed. It's been posted to YouTube and is definitely (talented) metal. Added a post in 'to be submitted' for them.

Saink: This is the same artist behind Dilem, which was just added. When it was approved I saw that SullenDemigod changed the additional notes for the discography, changing the 'Fracture' album's format from unknown to CD. I'm assuming that's based off this picture? If so, then Saink should be added too, as it is pictured as well. For the record, I think theses are just art pieces. If Sullen changed it based off other info, then nevermind.

We need to trace the missing two songs and to see if it was a valid release by MA standards.

There's also this website that talks about the band and a comment by the member Supreme: http://depresijiwa666.blogspot.com/2012 ... -demo.html

The band was added on MetalKingdom by this user: https://www.metalkingdom.net/user/Deimos

I see the member Dahak provided links to download the demo here. Enough to submit?

While I'm awaiting the frontman's reply regarding The Lack of Motivation (above), here's a very curious Unicode nightmare.

Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Genre: Black/Death Metal
Credit: Kaliem Masochoth
Links: Bandcamp (WayBack Machine) | Spotify

This one was definitely eligible, his music was some very well-produced black/death metal, but seemingly slipped under everyone's radar, and was always set to exorbitant prices on Bandcamp. Just today, I found proof that at least one album was at one point featured on Spotify (second link), which technically should make the project eligible for its own page, but I found that he had since wiped his online presence entirely, with no samples to be found anywhere. I've tried Soulseek, bootleg mp3 sites, YouTube, SoundCloud, with no luck. Maybe someone has other ideas?

UPD 09/11: Here's a link for the artist's surviving page for another project and another dead Spotify upload: SoundCloud | Spotify
UPD #2 09/11: A black noise/dark ambient project by the same artist: Thothic

You can still listen to this one track on the archived bandcamp:

Almas Liquidas: Definitely had a VR. Mentions of a CD for sale on facebook. Better question if it's really metal.

Listed genre: Thrash/Heavy Metal (but seller is often wrong on genres. More likely groove/sludge metal, heavy alternative)
Discography: "Deep in a Drift" demo (1996, Extremely Baked Records. Might be worth checking on the other bands that this label did releases for - https://www.discogs.com/label/683831-Ex ... ed-Records )
Discogs: https://www.discogs.com/release/1463149 ... In-A-Drift

Whole demo streamed on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyhwWvuteCI
