Nice find. They (Resin) sound okay to submit, if you or anyone else feel like it.

Unfortunately these releases aren't even available for download on pirate pages, 0 trace. I need the audiofiles, any one can be predominantly metal.

Being quite borderline musically, it would still be the best to search full albums. Tears to Wine and Hercules Furens are available in YouTube Music for premium members only.

'Ateria' can be removed because it doesn't exist. It's a misspelling of another Brazilian band already on the list 'Steria'.

Above The Wreckage: The full EP was available for download at one point from the band. There's also a lot of live music and an EP teaser to go off of. Probably enough to submit, which I can do.

I also think Aleister has enough info to be submitted. There are 3/4 tracks on youtube played live and the metalcry link mentions a booklet, implying it was released on CD.

I'll be submitting these bands as the queue clears up btw.

Antares: From Venezuela, not Argentina. This reverbnation mentions the demo on TMG and the facebook had a link to the demo for download. Will submit.

Backwater Burial: This is a weird one, where the band has a member on Newgrounds! Neat to see, as they posted some of their music there. The source for the EP i can only deduce is from their Myspace, where two tracks are given that album name. If so, no VR?
https://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/88905
https://myspace.com/backwaterburial/music/songs

Balhe: Facebook and youtube with music. Checking for VR, though likely streaming only.
https://www.youtube.com/@BalheZenekar
https://www.facebook.com/BalheZenekar

Beagle Puncher: Only on myspace according to this facebook post. No VR.
https://www.facebook.com/goreshit/posts ... 412638160/

Bestiario: Full album on apple. Borderline mix of Crossover and thrash. Will prob submit.
https://music.apple.com/us/album/besti% ... /909472348

Birth Machine: Was offered as a free download. Will submit.

We need to trace the missing two songs and to see if it was a valid release by MA standards.

There's also this website that talks about the band and a comment by the member Supreme: http://depresijiwa666.blogspot.com/2012 ... -demo.html

The band was added on MetalKingdom by this user: https://www.metalkingdom.net/user/Deimos

I see the member Dahak provided links to download the demo here. Enough to submit?

Yeah.

A Sweet Suffering: Death Metal. Will submit.
https://www.facebook.com/profile/100063 ... arch/?q=ep
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8lDBOUAZUwA

Abstract: Generic band name doesn't give me much.

Alpha Matter: Dead homepage and facebook. Released a s/t ep in 2012. It's been wiped pretty clean. *edit* Here's the youtube.

Ashes into blood: Borderline Deathcore/Metalcore. Metal at times, but has a lot of breakdowns.

I'd look into more of these underground bands but Discogs is having issues at the moment.

Looks like it was offered for free download on their website, so if you consider the music to be acceptable, go for it.

Discophobia: Non-metallic Grind.
https://vleesklakrecords.bandcamp.com/a ... ia-split-7

Downward: Metal but only one track on bandcamp. Facebook has been deleted.
https://downward.bandcamp.com/album/karmageddon-single
https://downwardband.weebly.com/

Fields of Regret: Sounds more like nu-metal/goth rock/horror punk than metal.
https://fieldsofregret.bandcamp.com/music

Fields of Troy: "Power Metal". Not even close, more like Heavy/Alternative Metal/Rock. Tagged with bands like FFDP and Mastodon, i don't think it would make the cut.
https://fieldsoftroy.bandcamp.com/music

Follow the Hunt: Metal with three singles that share art. No VR yet. I'd check back on this one.
https://music.apple.com/us/artist/follo ... 1645194285

G.O.D.: Can't find much besides a review describing it as death/thrash metal/grindcore. Probably didn't do much after, or a generic name like this makes a search difficult.
https://www.bloodchamber.de/review/1810 ... ler-9.html

He Came from the Sun: Only put out one track under this name I believe. Facebook is dead. No VR.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEupbN8BzYM
https://metalstorm.net/bands/band.php?band_id=2593

I Scream Protest: Can't find much else besides the comp. Probably put out this one song and bounced.

Idiot Convention: Sounds more punk than metal to me.

Inhuman Icon: Sparse facebook. Talked to the band and they never put out anything under this name besides the tracks on the comp.
https://www.facebook.com/inhumanicon

Kumbunzzbootiebitchbunch: Can't find much else besides the one track on the comp

Laokoön: Messaged the band to see if there's a vr.

Lightbulb Inferno: All the singles on reverb can be downloaded but share art. They also have a soundcloud. Considering the facebook is dead, i'd say no VR.
https://soundcloud.com/lightbulb-inferno

Loss of Sanity: No VR mention on facebook. *edit* Yep, band confirmed no VR.
https://www.facebook.com/lossofsanity/

Massgrave Hill: Search doesn't turn up much besides the comp itself. Here's the track. Probably no VR.
https://soundcloud.com/ravanys

Mucus: Grind band with a large discography. Grind of the non-metal variety from what I sampled.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjOmFmWSB2w

Muddler: Rock.
https://muddler.bandcamp.com/music

My Friend the Atom: Rock.
https://myfriendtheatom.bandcamp.com/

Myotis: Has an EP but it is streaming on Youtube and Spotify only. No VR. Not very metal anyhow.

Oath of Vengeance: Chuggy deathcore with two singles. Probably wouldn't make the cut.
https://oathofvengeance85.bandcamp.com/ ... anthropist

Oceans Burning: Death Metal, but only one track, no VR. Dead facebook.
https://www.youtube.com/@oceansburning309

Omicron: Neato death metal! Will submit.
https://omicronmetal.bandcamp.com/track/burn-the-hive

One Zillion Decibels: Rock.
https://onezilliondecibels.bandcamp.com/music

Passed: Generic name, not much in a search.

Royal Jake: Borderline metalcore. i think it's worth submitting.
https://royaljakerockx.bandcamp.com/music

Shifter: Metal, but i can only find the EP on youtube. Facebook mentioned it would be on CD, so I'm messaging for details.
https://www.youtube.com/@shifterofficial643

Shredder: Another one with a larger discography. What I sampled sounds more punk than metal.
https://youtu.be/-llzRwDaNjQ?si=NvQzdUdSezNhoa6Z

Signs Of Algorithm: Has a full album, but only a few singles online. Sounds borderline with djent popping up here and there. Not sure if it's worth pursuing in full.

Skeptical Mood: Not much besides the comp shows up in a search. Likely no VR.

Steegmoord: Instrumental Prog/Melodic Metal. Will submit.
https://steegmoord.bandcamp.com/music

Steelhouse Rockets: More rock.
https://www.reverbnation.com/steelhouserockets

Svart: Can't find much besides the song. Shame, it sounds really good! Experimental Black Metal goodness. Hate to say it, but likely no VR :(
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qialohqynxY

The Evil Pony's: Mix of Metal and hard/Punk Rock.
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC4dzC- ... Ho8mU2oe0w

The Hangman: Search doesn't turn up anything besides the comp.

The Last Gifted: Doesn't sound very metal based off the comp.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?app=desktop&v=EV5Cs8NodzA

The League of Mentalmen: Hardcore/Punk
https://theleagueofmentalmen.bandcamp.c ... m/new-shit

Titan: There are two different Titan's on two different comps.
The first band sounds like borderline metalcore and has a bandcamp: https://titanxcore.bandcamp.com/album/titan-s-t
The second is a thrash band. Album isn't online, but there's live performances of each song. Should be enough to submit, which I can do: https://www.youtube.com/@Titanthrash

Traveler: Plays Post-Metal, Hardcore and Rock. Bunch of valid releases on bandcamp.
https://travelerbe.bandcamp.com/music

Wryngd: Progressive Metalcore/Thrash. Borderline, but acceptable.
https://music.apple.com/us/artist/wryngd/1675384169

Ysmir: Tons of metal singles that share art. Great music! But no VR.

Needs research. - Diary
Location: Denmark
Genre: Rock
(their entry on the site was deleted today. Moderators can access it for further information. A couple of YouTube videos were found, which I no longer can access (linked in a report that's now expired). They did a couple of demos. It was requested to create an entry for them here just in case the full demos turn up, but the YouTube videos were more rock than metal.

Needs research. - Death Joke
- Fake band/release that someone signed in and got added to M.A. during v1 of the site. They came in listed as NWOBHM (so, location: UK). Some further information is in their deleted site entry. Supposed release was "Lethal Laughter" 7" (1981).
https://www.discogs.com/release/9386916 ... l-Laughter
Discogs and NWOBHM Encyclopedia both added information from Metal Archives' entry of this 7", that according to NWOBHM historians Zygmunt and Malcolm McMillan never existed and is a hoax (their addition to the site was done by someone who never did any other edits - so nothing to legitimize the entry by the person who did the submission), and every effort that I've made to find further information shows that it really is the case (probably put a couple hours in, checking each individual supposed band member, the supposed recording studio, etc.). Just to be really thorough, it was requested that they have an entry here. Fake bands on here from that era of the site is nothing new, and I've fortunately seen 15 or more deleted in the last few years. It's great to get this one cleaned off the site finally. Thank you, Azmodes.

Regarding BLARGH, I think I found a link for download? That is, a user on The Pirate Bay by the name of blargh666 uploaded the demo. He also posted some other music by Nidingr, which Blargh was in. Not sure if this enough for proof of VR, nor am I sure I'm allowed to post links to TPB. Just putting it out there.

Here's bunch of Polish bands from compilations released by Polish metalzine Musick Magazine.

Neutrina: https://www.discogs.com/artist/4441761-Neutrina

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpE8IP ... DWg/videos
https://www.facebook.com/neutrina.band

Musically acceptable but no VR at the moment. Their YT channel gives a hint they released their EP on CD, but their Facebook page makes no mention about this.

Octagony: https://www.discogs.com/artist/4446727-Octagony

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCE-dCS ... sfoAvSDzmg
https://octagony.bandcamp.com
https://www.facebook.com/octagony.official

One downloadable track on Bandcamp, so no VR at the moment. The artwork for their debut album was released on Facebook, not sure if the album was physically released.

Eutanor: https://www.discogs.com/artist/6681015-Eutanor

http://chaosvault.com/recenzje/eutanor- ... -tomorrow/

Released an album 'Assembling Tomorrow this year, genre description below (translated from Polish):

"It's damn hard for me to even determine what kind of music this band plays, because these are very non-obvious sounds. The band itself describes it as "a djent played by a madman on chains chaining him to the walls of a room without doorknobs." I don't know, I don't know anything about djent. It's difficult, so I'll try my own way - you will hear here dissonant death metal, mixed with doom metal, with an industrial flavor and a huge dose of unpredictability."

There's a listed band from Uruguay with the name Alto Voltaje. Is this the band on the research list or are there multiple Alto Voltaje's from Uruguay? If so, a note should denote that and if not, it should be removed.

Is this the Alucard from mexico already on the site? The original links to images of the cassette are dead.

No, there's one Alto Voltaje only from Uruguay. And I'm quite sure that only demo song wasn't released as a single-song demo: but it was circulating at the time, see the first link below. Anyway, most of the information on M-A were wrong: the second singer's name was misspelled as well his activity years (who joined in summer 1988 as confirmed in both articles, expecially in the second one where there is an interview with him), the name of the first singer (until 1988) is unknown and I fixed some extra data. In the book "La era del casete" (on second last page) it is said that the song "Acosados" was released in 1988... so it could be with the second singer Gabriel Mangarelli (with one "R" only, btw) who joined Alto Voltaje in July 1988.

Alucard: 99,99% sure it's same band as the one already listed (see some of the band members mentioned like Carlos G on bass. According to that article, they were formed in 1985 and not in 1980

Needs research. - Black Sunset
Location: Asunción (Paraguay)
Listed genre: Black Metal
Discography: "The Day Is Coming..." Demo 1995 (unreleased. Released in 2023)

full demo here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4-k8jlMI9OE

Tape here:

https://www.facebook.com/oswprods/posts ... hmzYCW4ufl

Recorded in 1995 but it remained unreleased. The line-up is unknown: Youtube lists 3 members but there is for sure also one vocalist/rhythm guitarist (J.A.E.? can't read) and there should be involved one member of Sabaoth. Typical of O.S.W. Production is cut photos where it does matter, so it's difficult to find complete line up or additional information

Needs research. - Medusa
Location: Paraguay
Listed genre: Metal? Thrash? Death?
Discography: "MCMXCIII" Tape 2023 (unreleased demo 1993, 5 songs)

Tape is here:
https://www.facebook.com/oswprods/posts ... uCBvHJRYPl
https://www.facebook.com/photo/?fbid=10 ... 7069628494

No samples, no info. Active from 1991 at least as there's a flyer from a concert with Rawhide, Devastation and Funeral

- The main page Discogs entry claims that members went on to play in the Swedish band Erodead: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Erodead/42501 .

They probably just meant the Japanese band of a similar name: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Eroded/52208
This page: http://recordboy.blog.fc2.com/blog-entry-2420.html says that it was the Japanese Eroded's previous name?

There's a short review here from 'Maximum RocknRoll 087 Aug1990':
https://archive.org/details/mrr_087/page/n101/mode/2up

Indicates its a Masao Yamamoto/Okayama band: https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... moto/67301
