Vocalist Naoi (Kazuoki) has an old blog post (Japanese) here: https://ameblo.jp/mobnaoi/entry-11609592219.html
It states that Curyrice changed their name to 'Uh-Tigh' and ran from about 1995 to 1999, though I'm not sure if that includes the 'Curyrice' era or not.
Discogs entry here: https://www.discogs.com/artist/5404226-Uh-Tigh
In addition to the compilation Uh-Tigh released at least one demo tape (which confirms the name change) in 1996, photo here: https://i.imgur.com/6sEJKuy.jpg
Some old live samples of Uh-Tigh on YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/@user-js1xb4pn5z
Sounds pretty Hardcore to me, but I don't know if the style changed with the name change.

Naoi is currently in Hardcore/Nu-Metal band 'Mob':

https://www.facebook.com/MOBtokyoJapan/
https://www.discogs.com/artist/9059299-Mob-32
https://music.apple.com/jp/album/mob/337233545

He was also in 'イケナイCherry Pie' [Ikenai Cherry Pie] which was more on the metal side, but I think that has broken up now and only ever released one digital single:

https://youtu.be/tOgrw-7Pt5o?si=stU8V7akOdu-4zJn

All of these are Tokyo-based bands BTW.

I've been looking over the archived sites for 'Death Never Pain' and best I could find VR wise was a news post mentioning a cd soon being available at shows and for order. The problem is the news portals are archived only on the first page and there's only a handful of captures.

That UK band listed as Rider with an alt. of Ryder just goes by Ryder. Thanks.

(pictures of the Euthanasia tapes, band in queue, have been provided in a report. Just mentioning because they were in this thread originally.)

Okay. You included the YouTube videos with 4 of the 5 songs on the '93 demo release?
https://www.youtube.com/@Monsterdrumma/ ... euthanasia
Voivod-type metal band with some stoner metal/rock influences. I can check on their only other 3 songs (2 being on a separate promo tape) if needed, but can't transfer to digital right now (equipment is in boxes/storage for the next month).

Diviner was rejected for lack of VR. As far as that goes, I cannot find proof beyond the mention of a CD in a file name, and this link that has pictures of a back insert. I've gone through the archived site and cannot find much else mentioning the demo's distribution. Not sure how other Iranian bands of the era distribute their music.

I heard some of this a day or two ago on YouTube (now a private video), and it's metal. Maybe someone more familiar with the MetalArea downloading sites can easily access this recent share and provide the music in a more accessible way in a submission.

Here's a sampling of the X Story Forest album. Doesn't seem very metal, more experimental.

A couple of tapes in that collection that I've been going through today that don't belong on the site in my opinion -
- Crawlspace (Kentucky) - this one is on the list. Almost passable groove metal, but just listening in a few places, it's not really what we're looking for. Some Biohazard-type rap vocals at one point, etc.
- Aberration (Sunnyvale, California) - not on the list, and seems to be nowhere on the internet. 1992 "Spirit of Soul" demo tape looks metal, but isn't. If it turns up on Discogs, no need to research it further.

Along with several bands already listed on the site, the 1993 Nosferatu (Ohio) inlay includes some unlisted/obscure bands in the thanks list. From the ones that I recognized and looked into a little bit, they are so far all from Columbus and Cincinnati, Ohio:
Needs research. - Envaultra
Needs research. - Surreal Reality
Needs research. - Scream Machine / Caffeine Addicts (name changed in the early '90s to C.A.)
Needs research. - Twisted Fate
- if the same one mentioned here, by the late '90s were a cover band: https://dreamcymbals.com/artists/usa/wells-shawn / https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063056927990 . Probably not the Massachusetts one.

Symphonium (Norway) can be removed. TheStealthK helped to access the download, so now there is audio and VR. Was submitted a few days ago.

(8373) Komendantis Saati- definitely punk rock.

(8368) Bedlami/ (8369) Bethelem (ბეთლემი)

Heavy metal, progressive rock, Georgian folk.

I think it's a typo and it meant one of the most important Georgian bands Betlemi (Georgian for Bethlehem (ბეთლემი), so the band Bethelem ID 8369 can also be removed)
Discography: “Khavsmodebuli Zarebis Eqo” (“Echo Of The Moss-Grown Bells”) 1992.

Hammer of Witches: Already on the site.

Hechos: Full album on youtube. The facebook has a mediafire link which I assumed linked to this album. The facebook also mentions discs being "ready and in process".

Hellslaughter: Was listed but was deleted for plagarism.

Hypocrite Project: Archived hompage from which you could download the music. I think only the first demo was for download, but with the samples of the bands full album, this should be enough for submission, correct?
