Alright, Kasakit's VR seems to be covered.

Also 'All To Human' is a misspelling of 'All Too Human', already on the site.

Ritual, the band that Miro posted today is listed already (a name that Hanz Krypt went by briefly):
https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Ritual/3540519197

Heptafy (Brazil), posted here yesterday, is listed on M.A. as being a name change of https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Ep ... ab_members , and the name translates to heptáfio / epitaph. Not sure if it would be considered a minor name change of Epitaph, in which case the release could be added to that page (and the page should be renamed, with Epitaph being an alt. spelling).

Hmm, I think Kasakit was listed and removed? It's in both the removal thread and old appeal thread, but not on the blacklist?

One song from Virtual Reality (US) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJEVwzCrPx8
Maybe vocalist Jeff could help out with the other 3 songs: https://www.facebook.com/jeff.kimpland

Here's the corrected Discogs link for Jack Hammer Ape, in order to be placed in want list and considered for purchase (replaced it in the original post where the link for another band, also in the research list, had been): https://www.discogs.com/release/9772063 ... r-Ape-Demo

Dustbin (Japan #10611) also featured on this five band compilation tape given away 'free' (effectively included in the ticket price) at an event organised by Tiger Driver Records for their Thrash/Hardcore bands at the time:

https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/p1115857489

Not entirely sure of the date, but must have been between 1994 and 1997 as Miscreant Invocation (https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Mi ... tion/28484) changed their name after that.

I'd say this is enough for a separate page.

You mean this?
Quote:
Record Label demo tape 2007 "Nuclear attack"

Nah, as with "CD", "demo-tape" is sometimes used as a generic term for demos in general and doesn't say anything about whether this was actually circulated on tape. Not gonna cut it.

Looks like I didn't learn from the first time. The original post wasn't included in research list (or possibly has been wiped off since then), any reason for this?

It's okay. Such a huge list, stuff like that will definitely happen. It seems to have gotten replaced with the new link, but that's okay - I will add band member information to your post. Hopefully the audio of that cassette will turn up soon.

Regarding Guilty (US - "First Offense" 1993 demo recently listed), members Scott Horstkamp and Mike Newby (vocals and drums, respectively) more recently play in the Hyattsville, Maryland band Inside the Greed: https://www.reverbnation.com/insidethegreed . Discogs contributor waykoolrecords listed Guilty as heavy metal, which may be the case, but his definition of the genre leans more toward hard rock than that of this site. Inside the Greed member Gary Norris leaves his personal FB page as contact info for this project, and may be able to help with contacting Scott or Mike. https://www.facebook.com/boardwalk69 .

The list is missing Resin from that post as well. They're still open, right?

I found the audio sample and submitted the band. It's still on the queue, so everything's gone right by now.

Regarding Peccary (Ntl), the inlay mentions a thanks to bandmates from Irritant Chaos ( https://www.discogs.com/artist/3456669-Irritant-Chaos ) and Merciless Noise ( https://www.discogs.com/artist/3870995-Merciless-Noise ). While a member list for Irritant Chaos wasn't quickly found, Merciless Noise includes someone named Winston (surname unknown), one of the two Peccary members.
Peccary is briefly namedropped in 1991's "Brutalizing Noise" #3 'zine.
https://www.scribd.com/document/6309392 ... 3-1991-ENG

Regarding Anchored Soul (Canada), one or more members went on to play in the Edmonton-based band Original Violence ( https://rawartists.com/originalviolenceband ), assuming it is the same Canadian Anchored Soul (probably very likely to be the case). Edmonton-area band Through the Trenches also included a member of Anchored Soul, per their bio here: https://www.reverbnation.com/throughthetrenches

Krisis (Illinois, US) demo 1993 on YouTube (not thrash, but sounds like passable heavy/power metal with hard rock elements, or something similar. Feel free to submit.)
https://www.youtube.com/@howlingfurymet ... ery=krisis

Strutter (Kitzingen, Bavaria, Ger) - 7" review:
https://www.underground-empire.com/review.php?idx=17842
(melodic hard rock with keyboards is all that can really be taken from that review.)
'additional-info' box (easy to miss, but often a valuable source of info on the Underground-Empire site) reveals that vocalist Chris Weddig and guitarist Ralf Link later started a band called Life 2.0. Strutter's release here would have been from 1994 or earlier. Likely not worth pursuing.

Dead Man's Frailty (DMF) - 3 songs on their YouTube channel, and another info link:
https://www.youtube.com/@DeadMansFrailty
https://forum.metal-hammer.de/foren/top ... us-berlin/ (FB link now dead. Translated post from one of their members: "We are a six-piece death metal/core band from Berlin. After taking a break for a while, we've been working on the current EP Endurance for over a year now. We are currently in the process of writing our first LP, which should be ready towards the end of the year.")

Not sure if it is still in stock, but there's a copy of their CD listed for 1/4 the price of the one on Discogs: https://www.heartlandstudio.co.jp/shop/list.html

Gills - also listed as speed/thrash metal here, but no longer available:
https://diskunion-ochanomizuhardrockhea ... 51357.html
(might be worth looking through that list - seems to be a lot of rare metal on it).

Threat Generator - played Milwaukee Metalfest in '99. http://www.rockdiscography.com/deadstat ... lfest.html

Bastardizer (Canada) - demo 2009 review:
https://ia800309.us.archive.org/3/items ... ssue07.pdf
"There is a lot of excitement around BASTARDIZER in these parts. They are a new local 5-piece outfit featuring members of the ENDLESS BLOCKADE and RAMMER, among others. The band sounds like one part HELLSHOCK, one part TRAGEDY. Heavy Portland core. Brutally disturbing in all the right ways."

Patriotes (Sainte-Cécile-de-Masham, Quebec, Canada) shouldn't be confused with Quebec band
https://facebook.com/photo/?fbid=970484 ... 0029601839 (though Discogs links Jean Gravel as a member - not correct). These are younger guys that did the '93 cassette. Member wearing a Blaylok shirt is a good sign.
Pascal St-Pierre (vocals, guitars)
Joel Richard (guitars, backing vocals)
Carl Therrien (bass, backing vocals) - https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100074620819993
Daniel Bergeron (drums) - none seem to be on the site yet.
- first 2 results here seem to be for them (referred to as Les Patriotes on Carl's LinkedIn page, where a September 1992-September 1993 activity period is specified), though not accessed easily at the moment:

Krisis (Illinois, US) demo 1993 on YouTube (not thrash, but sounds like passable heavy/power metal with hard rock elements, or something similar. Feel free to submit.)

Submitted them, so this one can be wiped off the list.

Needs research. - Moral Compass (location unknown - probably US)
Needs research. - Fraudulent Death (Tucson, Arizona, US - specified in inlay notes)
- a couple of obscure bands that are thanked on the 1993 Sarcophagus (Illinois) demo tape, along with many that are on the site already. Likely death and/or thrash metal in style. Here's a flyer for an April 1992 Fraudulent Death show that was played in Arizona, with Atrophy and Fall from Grace: https://imgur.com/a/oiBNVJl (includes their logo).

Bastardizer: Full demo here. Borderline but I'll submit.
https://vk.com/wall-37216820_328

Anchored Soul: Genre tags make this seem more metal than it is. There's a substantial amount of Nu-metal/core in this. Borderline, but I'll submit.

Tomorrow I'm leaving for Turkey and in the following weeks I'll enter Georgia, Armenia and other central asian countries. I hope to find something in dusty and forgotten shops and solve some mysteries along the way :)

Anyway, they may have some recordings. They appear on this compilation here:
