(one of the videos references an EP from 2020. Not sure if they have a release out.)

Found their Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100063639357066

Not much info on there either. I sent the band a message asking if they have anything released.

EDIT: I heard back and they only seem to have music released on YouTube currently. They are working on getting it released on Bandcamp and Apple Music.

- Demo stream with artwork on YouTube. It was requested that additional VR info is found before accepting.

I found a band member on Facebook and sent them a message asking if they know anything more about the release.

Final Solution: Found half the tracks from their tape. Sounds like it should be enough for submission.
https://www.youtube.com/@joebcci/search ... 20solution

Medley: Their entire site is archived and seems to have mp3s of all their music. Will submit.

Maleficarum Incestum: Here's a working link for samples. Not sure the quality is enough for MA standards.
https://salvadorean-metal-attack.blogsp ... -demo.html

Mastiphat: Released on CD, and has samples. Quality if bordering on unnacceptable IMO.

Mortis: From Chile, has been added.

Ashes of the Dead: Recorded an EP, but never released it. Confirmed by band. No VR.

Wooden Coffins: Released a Demo in 2017. Can't find proof of VR but I don't think it matters since it isn't very metal.

Fantasia: Spoke to an owner on discogs. He compares the band to Daktal, Portrait (US), Edwin Dare, all listed Heavy Metal bands. Probably not enough for submission but worth noting. Will see if he can share samples.

Regarding Tophet (US), "Slaughtering the Innocent" (2003) probably came out under that name, too, instead of Anthropicide, since it came out after the 2002 title under that band name, and they went by that name on a compilation also from 2003. Could be noted also that while Metal Archives documents track 3 of the 2002 release as "Heavenly Filth," Discogs lists "Unholy Filth." Discogs also has an extended title compared with the one documented on M.A., "The Blood of Saints Upon My Swords" vs. "The Blood of Saints."

Needs research. - Stone Wisdom
Location: US, probably Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas.
- Band on a flyer in the '90s with other metal bands. DFW area seems to have a lot of bands not well-documented online that are pretty good, and the logo looks interesting. Someone in this group probably knows more.

I found the demo and it's raw black metal, but there are 0 owners on Discogs and not much else to go around. Since you only specified samples, what did you consider to be proof of VR?

It's available for free download here: https://r-a-b-m.blogspot.com/2010/11/po ... uctus.html

I couldn't find any information about possible tape release, but figured this might be sufficient enough for VR proof.

That's not told clearly, though site mentions most uploads there are band-sanctioned. Might be best to wait for final VR proof before moving on with this one.

Just got samples for Daydream Project and Get Ready. Will submit Daydream if it's metal enough (brief sample sounds decent enough), and looking for more details on Get Ready. The latter is definitely heavy metal.

Fool Society: I spoke to a seller on discogs to clarify the genre, since it's in the list but described as Alt rock. According to him, "They cover a lot of ground in 45 seconds, including hair metal and some sort of post-Danzig vibe." Not sure if it's worth keeping based on this description.

I stumbled across this earlier and it appears to be metal enough, but I couldn't find any convincing proof of it being released. The Discogs entry doesn't have any pictures and no one has it in their collection. If anyone finds proof of distribution, feel free to submit the band.

Get Ready: alright, according to the person who sent me samples and owns the cassette, he believes, “ was only sent to press and radio stations (that's how I got the tape) back in the day but I might be wrong.” Given he’s the only owner on Discogs, lack of other info, and pictures of the tape, I’m inclined to believe there’s no VR for this band.

Needs research. - Requiem Mass
Location: Illinois (?), US
Genre: Metal (? - not known)
Discography: Cassette tape - https://imgur.com/a/1b3wUVK (year unknown; Unstable Reality/ Speak the Truth/ Destinies Dream/ Throes of Madness/ Some Kind of Love/ Soldiers Stance/ Inner Voices). Pro tape, last 3 songs on side B.
Other than the name, nothing to indicate that it is this Albuquerque, New Hampshire band called Requiem Mass: https://www.metal-archives.com/bands/Requiem_Mass/8569
Post by owner in Thirsty Whale venue (River Grove, Illinois) Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/3012159 ... 8142727236
- Seeking audio, verification that it isn't the New Hampshire band.

Needs research. - Vigilance
Location: Northern Illinois, US (815 telephone area code)
Genre: "Aggressive metal," according to packaging of their tape
Contact names (members?): Matt, Nate
Discography: Demo tape (not sure if there are songs on the B-side, but the tracks on one side of the tape are: Author of Despair/ Watch Me Bleed/ Lords of Chaos)
https://imgur.com/a/SnRnZNk
- posted by the same person in the 'Thirsty Whale' venue FB group page. Would guess that both tapes are from the early-to-mid '90s, but can't be certain. https://www.facebook.com/groups/3012159 ... 142717236/

Samples needed.
.

I noticed a comment in the edits of the discogs page saying "Zyklon-G. This was a novelty band, that released 1 album, spoofing black metal." I also messaged both Discogs sellers asking if they had any samples.

EDIT: Well both Discogs sellers cannot provide audio samples. I'll keep looking though. I also messaged the person who left the comment on the Discogs page since it seems he actually recorded the album.

1 Inch Bullet: Did a bit more digging, and it turns out this band has VR. They released an album in 2009 called 'Epidemic'. You can find proof of this on the band's archived myspace. Exact tracklisting is unkown. Every site that mentions the album has the three jarmendo tracks, but Reverb has an additional fourth. There's also a fifth track played live. Of course, these two might just be additional tracks. i think this is enough to submit.

Theatre Runs Red: Finishing up their album, check back note, please.

Evilfire: Just got the files for both releases. Will submit soon.

Well I feel like an idgit; Evilfire is already listed under Evil Fire. Honestly surprised it took me this long to realize this.

Elektrischer Stuhl: Spoke to the sole owner on discogs. He says, "It's a homemade tape with maybe 10 pieces recorded for friends," and, "no digital copies have survived. There was a crudely drawn animation for one of the songs, but seems it also has been deleted from Youtube." Sounds to me like no VR, but I will ask further just in case. He offered to put me in touch with the musicians.

Needs research. - Удар (Russia)
Origin: Bryansk, Bryansk Oblast' (Russia)
Genre: Heavy Metal, some speed metal here and there
Active: 1987-1993
Discography:
- "Чёрный снег" (demo, 1987 or 1989)
- "Голос надежды" (demo, 1993)
- "Чёрный снег / Голос надежды" (CD, 2023, GS Production)

One of the many Удар from Russia (not to be confused with Удар already listed on MA or with another Удар from Kirovsk (Leningradskaya Oblast' active from 1986 and who released the demo "Дайте свет!" in 1987 which we need to find also)

They have released 2 demos (as usual, I'm 99,999% sure as magnitoalbum even if the demo 1993 could be released on tape) now both gathered on a CD compilation recently made by GS Productions

Can't find any exact info about the first demo.... on the CD reissue it's written 1987 but other sources say 1989.
The first demo sees the drummer playing vocals as well (in the credit list is listed a 4th member but it's just the sound engeneer) while in the second demo (or "album") from 1993 there's a change in line-up but I can't read well:

The full album is available at GS Productions bandcamp and the CD is already pressed and available but before submitting it I would like to fill the missing details (exact year of recording of the first demo which I'0m sure can be found on the inner booklet of the cd) and whether the second album was released on tape being from 1993:

https://gsproduction.bandcamp.com/album/--32
https://vk.com/gsplabel?z=photo-1748704 ... 33499_4505
https://vk.com/gsplabel?z=photo-5833349 ... 33499_4325

As for "Black Snow", it appeared as a bootleg from 1989.
