I'm not sure about this. Seems there are barely any guitars.

Well, I have no idea what happened but my order was refunded and never shipped. Going to see if there is another copy.

RESOURCES/IDEAS FOR FINDING UNLISTED BANDS:

If anyone has something to add to this list, feel free to post or send a pm, and I'll add it here.

To complement the list, I have one method I've found dozens of bands to add on the site: check Instagram follower lists of bands on the site. Then you might find lots of unlisted bands most of which might be located in same area too. By my experience most matches are almost ready to submit since Spotify link is quite often included and if there's just one single or multiple ones with same artwork released the band could be saved for later. It's also worth checking possible concert posts on the page; there might've been bands not yet listed. And the most important thing: focus on underground bands. Research process is quite faster then plus on higher follower rates it's also not possible to see all followers.

If there is no sign or evidence that Bludfed, under that name, every distributed this release in a way that MA deems valid, then no.

Alright, thank you. I spoke with the band and confirmed there was nothing under Bludfed released, so confirmed no VR. Will submit the other project.

Needs research. - Anisa Murphy / Anisa D. Murphy
Location: Renton, Washington, US
Listed genre: Heavy Metal
Member: https://www.metal-archives.com/artists/ ... phy/184400 (everything)
Discography: "Yesterday's Angels" (1994), "Shift" (1996, includes unreleased songs from 1987, 1988, 1995 - not sure if re-recorded) cassettes, 1989 demo (mentioned on another website), + a song from the '94 release is on 'Static Exemplar' #3 compilation (features all metal bands on the site other than this - but more than 6 bands: https://www.discogs.com/release/1475972 ... Exemplar-3 )
Discogs: https://www.discogs.com/artist/6617447-Anisa-Murphy
Underground Empire: https://www.underground-empire.com/review.php?idx=64
Translation to English:
Spoiler: show
Time to take stock. The multi-talented Anisa Murphy documents the last ten years of her work with her “Shift” demo. But she didn't release a "Best Of" demo, but rather recorded four unreleased songs from 1987, '88 and '95. Therefore, it is not surprising that the demo songs don't exactly sound like identical quadruplets. Anisa herself speaks of pop metal, but that shouldn't hide the fact that the melodic songs are performed in a lively and energetic manner.
Anisa presents her songs with the playful ease of a veteran. No wonder, after all, she was already cruising through the clubs in Seattle when no one there was even thinking about NIRVANA, PEARL JAM & Co. She doesn't have a spectacular voice (that's not a Jennifer Rush/Whitney Houston/Celine Dion mix), but she still has a melodious organ of her own. In any case, if you only pay attention to the vocals because you have bought into the cliché that female solo artists only know how to impress with their looks and their voice, you will miss some pretty guitar melodies.
Anisa will begin recording new numbers this year. Meanwhile, “Shift” bears witness to the lady’s abilities for a fee of $5. No matter how you judge it, the fact that Miss Anisa D. was responsible for all jobs in the creative process deserves the highest respect: songwriting, singing, production, as well as the handling of all string, keyboard and percussion instruments For Anisa it is one of her easiest exercises.

last.fm: https://www.last.fm/music/Anisa+Murphy
- (update Jan. 30th - acquired "Shift" release, and think that it's worth a shot. Provided the link in 'to be submitted' queue. If not enough on its own, worth continuing to search for the '94 release.)

Cellatarium: Spoke with band. Never released anything besides the three singles on bandcamp. For the record, the art isn't identical but close to it. It's the same art with the track title on the bottom of the art. Probably not enough for VR.
https://cellatarium.bandcamp.com/music

Captain Trips: Spoke with band. Music is only on youtube. No VR.

Cerebral Compression: Spoke with band. Album was never released. They said a member has the music and might put it at streaming at one point, but this sounds like wishful thinking than any actual plans; No VR: "That was a thrash project I did back in the 80’s. Unfortunately it never got a release. One of the band members has the master copy. Hopefully he will at least put it out streaming at some point."

Deathection: Spoke with band. They released their demo on CD with 100 copies. Will submit with proof.

In Obscure: Someone sent me samples. Will submit.

I've been trying to do some research on this band. Recently sent the person who uploaded the demo to HMR an email to see if they more information about the release. The one thing I noticed is that on all of the pages for Bitter Greens on HMR have "Thanks to the original ripper and uploader, Ken Wakefield" listed. So a band member officially ripped it and uploaded the demos to somewhere before.

See newer post a few posts down with more info.

Dissident/Диссидент: According to this post, the album was recorded but never officially released. looks like the web downloads with no cover art are the best we're getting.
https://vk.com/wall-3664608_496
http://dissidentband.narod.ru/music.htm

Division: More info here, looks like tapes with the music were sent out, no covers or song titles included. Think this should be enough for VR proof.

Decapitator: Still on the list despite being for download. Was it not submitted or deemed not valid?

Djanin: Entire album from youtube is available for download from reverbnation.

Diqqat: Bandcamp here. Will submit.

I bought the "Underground Symphonies Volume II" comp. Waiting to be shipped.

Got the CD in today. Will update this post with the audio samples in a little bit.

Both bands are death metal but Mortify has a bit more of a grindcore feel.
Mortify & Putrefience audio samples:

I'm still looking for VR proof for both bands. Going to look at the liner notes in the CD case since I can clearly read them now.

So I heard back from canadaspaceman who is actually a Mod over on the HMR forum. It seems he personally got the digital files from Ken Wakefield himself which seem to be from about 2008 according to the Halloween Concert conversion date from analog to digital. But also mentions "I doubt they had covers/official releases, as they were mostly a biker party band". Just that Ken digitally ripped the music himself.

It was brought up back in October and no one raised an eyebrow. Apparently it was submitted too, so I suppose it’s not.

Hippies Sadisticos: Got samples. Veeeeeery noisy, might not be acceptable but worth a shot.

Bitter Greens - More Info.

No VR. The songs were officially recorded but never released on physical format other than Ken Wakefield digitizing them and giving them to canadaspaceman from HMR.

I found Ken Wakefield's YouTube account. He has answered my question:

Hippies Sadisticos: Here are the samples. Like I said, sounds more noise than metal, but if someone has a different opinion please let me know.
