Needs research. - Tonic for the Troops
Location: Würzburg, Bavaria, Germany
Genre: Metal (?) - despite the wordy review, the style isn't well-described.
Contact name: Martin Gloger (possibly a member.)
Discography: "Das Ritterhadubrandt" demo - reviewed in 'Prophecy' #2 'zine (1992): https://imgur.com/a/CgM8WD3
Translation to English (leaving out very first part that references 2 other bands that here will only lead to confusion) -
Spoiler: show
I have another quite interesting one in the form of the cassette entitled "Ritterhadubrandt" by the Würzburg TONIC FOR THE TROOPS (original name). Demo of a band from the Lower Franconian metropolis. What stands out again on this tape is the ingenuity and variety with which these groups go about their work. No haphazard, trendy Death Metal bluster that you can hear from so many other young combos in the demo stage at the moment (exceptions prove the rule!), but songs where you can also hear that the musicians have put in an effort . So in addition to straight crazy parts, there are also
atmospheric, varied pieces can be heard, in which only the punky, snotty vocals have a negative impact. In general, it's the vocals that somewhat reduce the quality of the demo because they somehow don't fit in with the music. But most German demo bands struggle with this problem. The fact that the group also seems to have a sense of humor is demonstrated by the funny intro and outro, which conveys a medieval feeling according to the title, and the MOTÖRHEAD homage "No Sleep At All", in which several titles from this volume have to be used as text (even if MEKONG DELTA have already done this with BLACK SABBATH). All in all, a thoroughly recommendable demo, which was held at Martin Gloger, Robert-Kirchhoff-Str. 69, 8700 Würzburg, Tel.: 0931/272970.

Groove / Alternative Metal. Both songs are from this compilation: https://www.discogs.com/pt_BR/master/1273953-Various-A-Vez-Do-Brasil-89FM.
I can't say if the track "I Try" is the same recording that appears in the demo, but I highly doubt that it's different (style) from what is presented in this compilation.
