Just being curious... The Submission Guidelines state that BFMV is not accepted here for it isn't "more metal that core". However, Trivium has been accepted on MA. Is that because Trivium was added before the "more metal than core" rule has been written? I can't hear the difference between the two... (Not saying one's better than the other, because they make exactly the same kind of music)

I've always wondered that too. Why did they get rid of Cock and Ball Torture also? They're pretty death/grind sounding to me.

Neither of those links contains any posts pertaining to BfMV or CaBT. I'm not skimming through all those pages either.

No, but those two threads are intended for such questions. Also, threads about Trivium and Bullet for my Valentine mostly result in a bitch fest or a senseless "you suck"-thread and this one supposedly won't be an exception.

Well sad as it is Trivium is undoubtdly metal enough. This proves it. :p

Bullet for my Valentine I think were on this site prevouly and were deleted and multiple times i think to. i am not familar with this band enough but I have heard the song tears don't fall and don't find it metal enough (though extremely borderline) and extremely emo (watch the music video). I still enjoyed the song though.

Right from the damned Trivium page: "Trivium was accepted in the Metal Archives based on their first EP."
